I know that cycles can vary from month to month, but would there be a reason for early ovulation.
I am on cd 16 and got a pos opk today and I usually get them on cd 19-21. There has only been one other month where this has happened to me early and I think it was on cd 18. Any input would be appreciated. TIA

I was considering waiting this month due to being sick at the beginning of my cycle and not being on the diet for half of this cycle and I have 3 more doses of doxycycline to take. It's too late now, dh and I bd last night because I was expecting to ovulate tues not today..lol. I was using the clear blue advanced ovulation kit with fmu and yesterday I had a blinky smiley (first for the cycle) and today I had a solid one and confirmed my surge with a cheapie this am after a few hours of the first result. Last month I had 4 days of blinking smileys before I got my surge, which is why I thought I would ovulate around tues. I guess tonight I will attempt to bd again to give it my best shot. Any input on the early ovulation is appreciated.

My guess is that your body is getting more raw materials to make estrogen from HE Diet and so was able to ovulate a little earlier than it usually does. (that's good!!) Just be in with as many attempts sas is possible.

I have been getting positive opk's earlier too missmegrn. I always figured it was a good thing because it meant less waiting around.
Atomic, this makes complete sense as to why I'm ovulating cd14/15 instead of cd17/18! Glad I read this thread.
