Maybe-baby digital ovulation tester

Hi there! I've got maybe baby digital tester and just wondering if any of you have used it too?

I am actually not sure what would be the best time for intercourse if we are relying on this tester.

For instance, I had my period 7 - 13 oct and the first fertile day was 25 oct!! Every day before that was showed infertile. I was expecting ovulation around 20-21 Oct and was really disappointed not seeing that on the tester. But on the 24th I started having pretty bad stomachache, backache, nausea, etc. so it lasted for two days and I went to the dr to exclude uti. Tested for ovulation on the 25th and got fertile window. I guess all this stomach pain and nausea were signs of ovulation.

So my question is what day would have been the best to ttc? 25 or earlier than that? I don't quite understand when was the O day...was that 25?

So sorry for the essay but I am really not good at this. Hoping someone can help.

Just wanted to mention that maybe baby is saliva tester for those who don't know. Not sure if that makes any difference...

the problem is, it's really impossible for me to be totally up to speed on how every product works and I'm really not super familiar with that one. Makes it hard for me to give you the best advice.

What you want to do is be in at some point slightly before ovulation with one attempt. Not too far before or you will have no chance of conceiving, and not too late either because the sperm need time to capacitate and make it to the egg. We have seen the best odds of conception with attempt on the day before ovulation. But some people might want to have a cutoff and then would attempt 2-3 days before ovulation instead. (I don't think this method works and can really cut odds of conception)

So you need to figure out whether your monitor is telling you if you are at "high" fertility - this means your fertile window has opened and you can get pregnant from attempts during this time, but maybe not as reliably as later, or at "peak" fertility - this means you are at the best chance of conception and if you wanted to do one attempt then you should do it at "peak". But I don't personally know if the Maybe Baby has that option.

The other thing could be to buy some cheap OPK, use the Maybe Baby to get you to the ballpark of ovulation drawing near, and then start using OPK to confirm the surge.

Thw monitor shows "transitional stage" and fertile. So I guess transitional is 2-3 days before O. Last time I didn't see any transitional window, only fertile.

I'll get another opk tester and see what happens! ;)

Just my 2 cents...the saliva microscopes (fertility focus) are not great at helping you predict O. You can be in the "transitional" stage for a few days before O. The saliva microscopes are displaying the rise in estrogen levels, which can span an entire week.

Is there any chance you can get some OPK ICs? They are a much better (and more reliable) predictor of O.
