Hi all! I'm going to see my doctor tomorrow to get an 'official' due date. Who would like to join me on the due date club?

Let me know if you'd like me to add you to the listing (or of course update your listing when needed). All the best with your pregnancies!

How did your appt go today, bunnywabbit? Hope you got a great report!

Thanks b2naday. Very standard procedure today - no scans etc. At this stage in the UK, this is just a notification to the GP that you are pregnant. She updates your records and gives an estimate due date and goes through what you should be doing or taking as well as what you should or shouldn't eat. This is also the referral to hospital or other health care provider so a midwife can see you. So nothing hugely exciting, but nice that's is more official.

So, I'm not sure how this works, will we all stick together as a general due date group, or will it change into 3 separate groups once more people join? I ask because my last 2 babies came early (DS2 was 5 weeks early and DS3 was 3.5 weeks early).. I'd just hate to be in the July group and end up with a June baby and not knowing any of the ladies lol

I think we all stick together as a three month group based on expected due date. Babies come when they're ready - there's no really way of guessing that. Will be nice to have a few early surprises!

So unbelievably cute! Counting down the days/weeks until I can get me scan. Still unsure if the NHS will do an early scan for me. If not, I'll go and get one done privately just to make sure everything is fine.

Bunny i am thinking of getting a scan flatrate. It's about 100€ and you will get a scan every 4 weeks.

I bet you would already see a little baby if you would have a scan by now. I hope the first few weeks will fly by for us ladies!

That flat rate scan sounds great! Not sure if they do anything like that in the UK.

Really hoping time goes fast, especially winter (really not looking forward to frost and snow). 6 weeks tomorrow, no real nausea or sickness just small waves every once in a while if I'm hungry. Hoping your sickness isn't too bad.

How's everyone else doing?

Glad to hear you're doing well Bunny!!

I'm doing good.. still zero pregnancy symptoms! Kind of hard to believe I'm actually pregnant!! (Not that I WANT to be sick! lol) We are going to be using a midwife this pregnancy so usually I wouldn't get any u/s, but lucky for me, my sister is an u/s tech and she has offered to scan me next week! (My sister-in-law had twins a year ago and said her first symptom was a migraine and even asked me if I was pregnant when I was in the hospital so now she swears I'm having twins! I hope not!!)

I've had next to no symptoms. Slightly sore breasts and slight waves of nausea if I haven't eaten. Apart from that, going off sweet stuff bit by bit which is a minor miracle for me - got a very bad sweet tooth.

I feel very good and I want some symptoms. I did gag of some of my food last night, but i did not actually throw up. I know TMI, it just came up and went back down. I don't know what that was. I been breaking out on my forehead but nothing to crazy, and I have sore boobs. I have low progesterone so I did read that if you have low progesterone u may not be that nauseous. Who knows, have any of you guys heard that with low progesterone?

Welcome mum3blue and h&h 9 months.

With my son I had absolutely no symptoms except for a little nausea from week 10-12 but this time it hit me full force! I wake up starving but as soon as I have eaten something nausea kicks in and I am struggling with every other meal. I have a food aversion having a hard time eating. I am still very crampy, have sore nipples, very sensitive teeth and bleeding gums. Oh the joys of oregnancy :). I am very happy about every single symptom though!

Hope you girls are doing good.

My sway is posted in the sway section, don't know how to add a link

Went for my first ultrasound today. Measuring 9 weeks 3 days. Saw baby's heart beating! Tech freaked me out as he said 'have a hunch its a little lady, although still very early'! Of course its way too early to be guessing gender but now of course he has my hopes up. Not quite sure why he said that! I'm feeling really good still, only mild nausea when I don't eat, I haven't puked once, sore boobs and really tired but that's all. Very much like my first pregnancy. I don't go much on symptoms as my second boy I was so nauseas day and night, couldn't eat a thing for 4 months and lost 5kg's!

Has anyone had inconsistent symptoms? My boobs were very sore and today they feel normal. I am nervous because I have had an early loss before. I am considered high risk so I just had my hcg and progesterone taken yesterday. At 5.5 weeks, my hcg was at 12600 and my progesterone was 40 so I should feel better but today's lack of symptoms has freaked me out. I haven't really had any other symptoms other than brief moments of nausea or very infrequent cramps. I have been pretty tired and hungry though.

Pinkone, I bet that was so exciting. Got my FX this is your little pink bundle.

Kikical, do you know what (estimated) day in June you're due so I can add you to the list? Try not to worry too much about the lack of symptoms at this stage - a lot of us are in the same boat, me included. Just hoping baby is being easier on you this time. x

Hi, so i was wondering if you guys can help. My hcg levels are very high for 8 weeks, they are 163,499. I read somewhere high hcg means a girl. LOL but i have also read it just means a strong pregnancy and maybe be a boy. My progesterone is 20. I read that low progesterone may mean zero morning sickness.
I only felt nauseous from week 5-7. My boobs have been very sore for 5-8 weeks so far. Last week, I did have only soup for dinner and did gag on it but that was the extent of my nauseous. I also only had one attempt which is staring to make me nervous. I had one attempt, on my frist night of my HCG shot, but it may of been a day earlier then I had thought for my ovulation. So instead of me havind bdb 2 nights before, it would of meant i bdb 1 night before. I know you can have a girl anytime but it is just now making me nervous. I also took clomid. We will see!! I just wanted to find out if you guys know what your HCG levels are and what your progesterone levels are also?

bunnywabbit
November 2nd, 2013, 03:16 PM
In the UK as far as I know, they don't usually give you HCG and progesterone levels as standard so not sure what mine are. I'm 6+2 and have only had very mild waves of nausea on and off.

Welcome, Mum3blue, pinkone, and bbgdreaming! I need to figure out how to bookmark this so I'm alerted when there are new messages...it's moving fast, which is great!

Pumpkin: how exciting! Will eagerly look for your update this next week. Sorry you've been hit so hard with symptoms, but no wonder!

I had an ultrasound at the end of the week and breathed a happy sigh of relief and joy to see the heartbeat. They also confirmed that I ovulated from the right ovary, which is 3 for 3 for my babies...trying not to read into that too much that it's a foregone conclusion that it's a boy, but I had done the left-side sleeping and had a moment of internal excitement when at first she said I ovulated from the left! It proved to be a cyst, however (nothing to worry about though), and once moving to the right side she corrected herself to say that no, it was in fact the right side. I added my sway to the "add your sway" section as well, but am likewise unsure how to add the link.

I'm no help on the hcg/progesterone numbers since mine haven't been tested, sorry! However, I have heard that high progesterone = nausea, so your information does seem to follow that logic, though perhaps it's not a hard and fast rule.

Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend!

Hello. How's everyone doing? Quick update on myself- I feel like utter crap lol I have so many symptoms going on that I won't even bother to write them down. I will say though that nausea, dry heaving, & throwing up is the WORSE. My GF told me that it's a great sign that all is going well. Geez can't everything go well without me being nauseous morning, noon, & night :( I've also been an emotional mess crying @ everything including commercials. Oh! & I seem to have some on & off pain on my left side. That side feels sore to the touch. DH thinks the baby must be on my left side. Well ladies hope ur all doing well :)

Dreamingof2girls: sorry you're so sick! That's just miserable. I have also heard it's a sign of a strong pregnancy though, so perhaps take heart in that! I've also had the pains you're describing and my ob said that with the 3rd (and 4th for you!) pregnancy, all the physical symptoms will likely be amplified, such as ligament stretching and the uterus expanding more rapidly. Hope you can find some relief soon!

I think I missed saying welcome to Kikical (sending you my blue dust!)!

I am mainly battling nausea and fatigue these days, along with just feeling/looking "thick". How is everyone else doing?

Pumpkin2011
November 4th, 2013, 10:17 AM
Dreamingof2girls i am having the same pain.
I know for sure that I O'd 1 follicle from the right side and 3 from the left...if I could only figure out which one was the lucky one :).

Ladies do you have to pay for an NT scan where you live? In Germany insurance doesn't cover it and it's pretty expensive so it looks like I won't be nubsessing :(

I don't want to complain at all but I am having a hard time fighting nausea. The only thing I can think of without wanting to run to the bathroom are sweets and fruit . Anyone feeling the same?

Oh only 3 more days until our next scan. Hoping to see a nice and strong heartbeat :).

Ladies, you simply cannot tell where implantation occured on the basis of one-sided tenderness. If your uterus was that sensitive to be able to feel a ball of cells no larger than the period at the end of this sentence, pregnancy and childbirth would be excruciating. When conception occurs, your body churns out huge amounts of progesterone that cause big changes to occur all over your body, blood flow to your uterus increases, hormones are made that cause your tissues to stretch, and all this causes aches and pains completely unrelated to implantation.

bunnywabbit
November 5th, 2013, 10:06 AM
Pumpkin, I'm pretty sure the NT scan is covered by the NHS in the UK at around 15 weeks, certainly for 'mature' mothers. I'm sorry your sickness is getting bad. I'm thankful mine only seems to be coming in waves once or twice and only for a short time. Haven't been sick yet. Right now, my gut instinct says mine will be a boy. So happy for either right now, but that's my gut instinct. That said, my DM said her sickness was minor when pregnant with me, so who knows! I'm the other way round dietwise - can't handle sugar as such anymore - cakes, most sweets and cookies are off the menu. I seem to do well with protein like cheese on wholemeal bread and on occasion cashew nuts (keeping those minimal). Might be worthwhile seeing if smal amount of protein helps your sickness - I believe a few girls on other threads said it's helped them.

2bnaday, that's how I am at the moment - lower abdomen looks quite thick, as well as my thighs. Hoping I won't need to get into maternity wear too soon. I'm quite used to fatigue because of my rheumatoid arthritis but I find in the winter months I just really want to hibernate. So cold and miserable which really doesn't help...

Dreamingof2girls, so sorry you're so sick too. I haven't done the teary bit *yet*, but I can sometimes feel like I want to. DH and I went out with his parents who have divorced years ago but are on good terms. DH and I are walking behind them watching them walking arm in arm like nothing had happened - I said nothing to DH abut it but almost a lump-in-the-throat moment. But then DH mentioned how almost emotional he was seeing that too.

Menlc611, I'm sure you did your best on your sway - mine was a lazy sway when I started TTC in February, but because of the time on the diet ending in either BFN or m/c, the sway got lighter and more lazy so that I stood a chance of getting AND keeping a BFP with a glimmer of hope that it's a girl. I stopped RepHresh, antihistamines and took zinc and iron for the m/c. I also started adding a little more salt to my foods (not that I'm convinced sodium sways and not a big salt eater, just trying anything and everything to help baby to stick) and reintroduced small amounts of lean white meat or nuts to meals. Don't give up hope. Remember there are those desperately swaying boy who have a 'perfect' boy diet who go on to have girls. As long as we do the best we can, that's all that can be expected.

AFM, I have the head cold from hell (thanks, MiL!) - nonstop sneezing and runny nose. Taken today off work as I can barely function. Hoping excessive sneezing doesn't cause any problems or other unwanted effects. SO wish I was sat on a lovely white sanded, hot beach somewhere right now... Really wish I could cut out a few British winters...

I am getting nervous that I bdb to soon!! I think i bdb 2 days before ovulation but of course I am now reading that 3 days or 4 days my chances for a girl would of been hire. I don't know if i made a mistake. I think I was 2 days, but who knows what if I was one. I did do clomid and hsg shot, and my breast are only sore and i broke out on my forehead and I am also very sick I have the worst sore throat ever and I can't sleep!! I had the worst night sleep last night! I take the materni21 test Nov 18 and I am going to get ready to hear boy, I think i messed up the days to have sex on. I only had one attempt but I did it the first night of my hsg shot and now i am getting nervous. If I am meant to have a lil girl in pink leggings...:), I will!! I am not nauseous and only was from weeks 5-7 and that was on the progesterone suppositories and that feeling went away. I just have very sore boobs and I am worried since people online say that can be a side effect from boys. I also know my hsg is very very high and I have read that can be the cause of very sore boobs so i am very confused!! and i did do intelligender but i also was on progesterone which it said not to be on and it said boy. So, I am going to take it again next week. Do any of you guys have sore boobs, I will be 9 weeks on Thursday.

Hi ladies. Well, my nausea seem to have subsided somewhat. I'm also going to make an appt next week 4 an ultrasound as I'll be 11weeks & still haven't gone in to see a dr. But, where I live doctors won't see u anyways until ur 10+ weeks. So! I was thinking of when I conceived this baby & was wondering if any one can give me any hope if my chances of getting a girl were good.
i'll write down all the info and i apologize for the TMI. on september 10th i ovulated. i dtd september 7th in the am and afternoon, september 8th in the am, september 9th @ night, september 11th and 13th. the entire week of my ovulation i didn't have any ewcm what so ever i was bone dry. to be honest i thought i wasn't even going to ovulate this month. i have been on benadryl for a rash i got due to an allergic reaction,i dtd everytime missionary position and NO orgasms at all. i jumped and dumped always cuz i hate that stuff leaking out of me lol i know that all that semen can raise my ph level =( but i also know that the jump and dump can lower sperm count.anyway is there a "maybe" a small possibility that i could've had a chance to conceive a girl with the bone dry cm, the missionary position, no orgasms, antihistamines, and the J&D? i'm just curious and any input would be much appreciated! again, sorry for the tmi. oh! i should also point out that i got my bfp 8dpo and again at 10dpo with a digital.

Hi, I'm 10 weeks today & I haven't really noticed my boobs killing me. Then again I've been so focused on morning sickness that I haven't paid attention to anything else going on in my body.

Dreaming I can't tell what I think your having just by analyzing your bd frequency, sorry. There is soooo much more to swaying than just one aspect. I am also worrying that I might have messed my sway up with frequency. We had 3 attempts but one attempt at OPK+ has the best results :(. Only time will tell.

GT77 I have terribly sore nipples, never had that with DS though. I wouldn't put too much stock into symptoms ;). Isn't the maternity21 test very expensive?? How did you stop taking progesterone? I am on progesterone as well and even though it only has a placebo effect on me I will keep them taking through the first trimester and them wean off.

Bunny my gut feeling tells me it's a girl or me this time but then there is something inside of me that keeps doubting that telling me it's only wishful thinking. With DS I knew instantly it was a boy without a doubt but at that point I really didn't care so there were no emotions involved which could manipulate my instincts ;). How am I even going to pass time without nubsessing?!
The weather in Germany is just like in the UK it's terrible. It's raining all the time, no sun at all and it gets dark way too early.
I wish we would have a snowy Christmas but that hasn't happened in years :(.

I am having my second scan tomorrow and DH is coming with me. My RE told me we might be able to see the heartbeat and I am so nervous now. Sooo glad the appointment is first thing in the morning that will save me hours of being a wrack! Hope I will get a pic again so I can keep staring at it at home :).

I wasn't swaying @ all. I just was trying to get pregnant after 8 months of bfn :( I just knew that when I was bd I did "simple" things to try & help get a girl. But overall I was just trying to get a BFP. Now there's nothing left to do but wait

What you did is still very girl friendly and it might up your chances at your girl but I have no idea how much more boy friendly other aspects like diet might have made your "sway". You still have a good chance at a girl try not to over analyze everything what done is is done at least that's what I keep telling myself ;).

The materni21 is free for us!! It is covered by my insurance I guess it pays to be in NY sometimes. :) luckily so that is a good thing!
Yeah I have to try and not pay attention but it's hard because I'm not sick and I can't remember if I had sore boobs or not with my son. I searched my emails and I can't find it anywhere me talking about it. Maybe it didn't kill because I have no recollection either. My dr said i could stop progesterone on Thursday said I didn't need to be on it longer. I know plenty of oeople who took it longer too. I'm de not going to miss them! Lol

Hi Everyone!! I got my BFP on Sunday. I would love to join you. I was nervous at first to join the due date group because I was having spotting and some cramping for the first couple days. The spotting is gone now though, and the tests are strong positives! I am so excited!! We swayed for a girl and have been trying to conceive over a year. This was my first month on Clomid.

Welcome ladies and congrats! Thought I would pop in, I'm now 10 weeks along. Went for my first scan last week and saw baby's heart beat :) Am feeling good, slight nausea on and off but not puking, really sore breasts and sooo tired! But an easy pregnancy so far! My NT scan is in 2 weeks so praying for a healthy bean. I am more worried this time as we did IVF / PGD twice last year for a girl and both times we ended up with a large amount of abnormal embryos so this has put some doubts in my mind. Hope you are all feeling okay?

Hey ladies.. I hope everyone is doing well! I've been so afraid of having a mc because of the pain meds I took in the hospital before my BFP, and I fear my nightmares are becoming a reality. I had some spotting Tuesday morning so I was sent to the hospital for blood work and a rhogam shot. They got my levels back at 4921 and sent me for an ultrasound yesterday. I had to go to the office today for my second round of bloodwork and the nurse told me the doctor wanted to talk to me. He told me I'm measuring very small on the u/s and although he could see the gestational sac and the yolk sac, he thinks it could be a mc. I won't know until tomorrow when they get my results back. I'm praying they double and my little bean is fine :(

hi everyone,
well, i'm so down in the dumps and i did it to my damn self!!! cuz of my curiosity i did some gender tests and now i've pretty much have lost all hope of ever having a little girl :( hurts even more to know that my brother is having one and possibly the only one. these are the tests ive done-
intelligender-boy
Tarot cards on a post here- boy
and the biggie! a test that checks mother's blood to determine gender-boy
it supposedly checks for the y-chromosome and if there's one then they think its a boy
i really really thought i was having a girl cuz of my gut instincts but that can just be very wishful thinking. nothing to do now but wait for my ultrasound and see if sex can be determined by nub guessing. {sigh} after soooooooooo many boys i really thought this was my shot.
Update- have read reviews on the that test that checks mothers blood & it's gotten HORRIBLE reviews!! Looks like they guess boy 4 everyone & of course 50% of the time they'll be right the other half good luck getting refund back. I PRAY PRAY PRAY they are wrong 4 me!!!! :)
Next time I'll read reviews BEFORE making a purchase lol

Pumpkin, I KNEW you'd have healthy, happy twins in there and I just know at least one of them will be a girl. Huge congrats to you both, so happy for you! And yeah, I welled up a little bit reading it - shouldn't have read it at work  As for snow, please, by all means take ours! I HATE snow and ice with a passion. Maybe I wouldn't so much if I didn't have to go out in it. Petrified about falling over in it again this year and causing damage.

GT77 I wish we could get the test for free here. Oh well, I suppose I'd spend the rest of the pregnancy wondering if the test was right. Hmm... wondering what happens to the test if you have one of each in there...

TTCPink, congrats again and welcome! Adding you to our list. Glad the spotting has stopped - such a relief. I'm almost expecting mine to come back (I hope not...)

Welcome momof3boyz11! Good to have you on board. Don't blame you staying team green on this one - that's where I am at the moment. I feel quite cruel saying I don't really want to find out, but DH says he's fine anyway. I'll probably change my mind by the 12 week scan though! Nice for a surprise, but I like to plan ahead. Also if baby isn't a girl (although I say I don't mind which I have) it gives a little time to get into the boy mindset.

Pinkone, I'm glad your nausea isn't too bad. Has it eased or has it never been very bad? Thankfully my nausea has been just that - I havent been sick yet and seems to come and go in waves if I suddenly get up, am hungry or have eaten something sweet (baby doesn't have a sweet tooth). You've made the first hurdle - baby has a heartbeat. Hoping baby's healthy and happy in there. Two more weeks and your first trimester is done! Crazy how fast the time goes...

Menlc611, I'm so sorry you're having to go though this, it's not fair. You're in my thoughts and have my FX baby is ok.

Dreamingof2girls, I'm really hoping the tests are wrong. This is a big part of the reason I'd rather keep it as a surprise and tell myself it's a boy for now. Got my FX for you. x

Menic I am so sorry you are going through this! How far along are you exactly? I think it's a good sign that both the gestational and the yolk sac can be seen on the US, don't give up hope yet. Are you sure of your dates? Give yourself a few more days, in early pregnancy every single day can make a difference. I am going to pray for a good outcome.

Bunny awww, thank you so much :bighug:. I never ever expected to see two babies, all I could think of was what if we don't see the heartbeat of this one baby that was seen on the last scan. What an an amazing feeling and I am so glad DH was there with me :). Somehow I am thinking it's B/G twins :). I already set up an appointment for a pregnancy fotoshooting. We have an awesome photographer close by and she also is very cheap but ALWAYS booked out. We've been there once and she said if one day I would like a pregnancy shoot I should call for an appointment as soon as I get my BFP.
Do you already know when you have your first ultrasound? I am going in again next Friday. This time my regular OB will do the scan and I need to call insurance to find out if they cover all the extra scans like NT for a twin pregnancy.

Dreamingof2girls don't stress yourself, I don't believe in all those gender tests. Try enjoying this pregnancy. Will this be your last one? Time will fly and you will find out soon enough ;).

November 8th, 2013, 07:37 AM
Yes I am very nervous! A huge part as we all do I want to find out and then this other part is maybe I am better off not knowing. Also this intelligender test keeps saying boy so that sucks. I think it measures your ph balance so I am definitely not eating the way i should for a girl anyway right now. I guess the part that bugs me out the most is my symptoms even though i have read on a ton of sites u can not go by the old wives tale predictions but everyone still does. I have swollen breasts and I have broke out a little on my chin which is odd for me, and a little on my forehead but nothing too bad that anyone can notice so it probably doesn't count. I feel good, besides i been sick for three weeks and I can't seem to get rid of my sore throat in the mornings it tends to go away during the day. I guess I am worried i have no major symptoms, but i tried to look back on my symptoms with my son on my emails and I never mentioned to anyone about sore boobs so I am thinking maybe I did not have any. I am praying and i hcg is still very high and that is it. We will see, whatever is meant to be will be!!

Thanks ladies!

GT77 I didn't do any gender test. I have to admit I did look into intelligencer but I believe it's only a PH thing just like the baking soda stuff and everything else. It wouldn't even make any sense to try one of those tests with twins. Also my diet is very boy friendly again since I got my BFP.

2bnaday it was indeed an incredible experience. And telling others is like experiencing this moment over and over again. It's crazy how excited our families and best friends are. I can't wait to tell everyone else in December.

Bunny how exciting, good luck with your scan today!! Hope we are going to see some pics later ;). I am hoping I will get a prescription from my OB for the NT scan since we are having twins, that way I wouldn't have to pay for it. I already did take a look at the dates and I would love to get it done at 13+ weeks but that will be the Christmas week and I don't think they do scans during that time :(.

Menic are you ok? Anything new yet? I had my first scan at 5+2 and all we could see was the gestational and the yolk sac as well and a week later there were two babies :).

Thinking of you menlc611 and hope that baby is doing okay.

bunnywabbit - my nausea has just been a constant thing since around 7 weeks. Its that feeling you get when you are absolutely starving and haven't eaten for ages, like you have to eat something now! And when I do eat, it eases for around an hour then I feel starving and nauseas again. I'm going to be the size of a house if I keep eating every time I feel sick  I am definitely starting to look like I may have a bun in the oven, or that I'm getting fat! I think being my 3rd I will show sooner.

Dreamingof2girls - as hard as it is I wouldn't read too much into those tests. I've seen a lot of opposites with these types of tests. Your NT scan will be more reliable. I don't know about you but I am terrified of even looking at the screen every time I go in case I see something boyish. I feel so bad that this is occupying my mind when I don't even know if the baby is healthy yet! I just think as soon as I see something and its a boy, then my dream is over. This will be my last child for sure. And I know my heart is not ready to break!

AFM, the scan went really well. Freaked out a little when we were told we had to have the vaginal scan as am very wary about increasing the chance of miscarriage, but our minds were put to rest.

As at 09/11/2013. Measuring at 7w, 3d and 1.18cm long (on the right - yolk sac on the left).

15164

The two thick white lines in the middle is the heart - going strong! DH grabbed and held on to my arm - he didn't cry but I could see him welling up. He might have if we heard it!

15165

She confirmed I ovulated on the left and s/he has settle on the left. Boy? I think so! Do not mind at all, just wanting a H&H bubba...

Awwww bunny, awesome pics! Crazy what a difference in development a few days make. I am so happy for you. The first child is very very special, enjoy every minute. I was also wondering about the ramzi theory and did some research on it. The ramzi theory is about were the placenta is and I have no idea were it is from my pics. As far as I know the theory about ovulation from the left or right and gender is an old wives tale just like were the baby implanted.

My next scan is on Friday and I am so so so excited. Can't wait to see my little pumpkins again, I need to see them again so I can start believing. Can't it be December already? I wanted to take on day at a time and enjoy every single minute but it's hard to relax the first 12weeks :(.

Don't believe the intelligender test!! Those wrong ALOT of the times cuz it does read ur ph in ur urine. So for example you could be pregnant with a girl & depending on your diet it'll give u a boy result cuz of your urine's ph. It did that test with my almost 2yr old son & it said girl well, he's all boy!!! Lol
As for the blood test I read a lot of wrong boy results so I hope that's the case 4 me

Congrats!!! Your picture is awesome!!! I'm going to be 12 weeks next week & I haven't had a single scan done yet :( going to call today & set up appt

I am 9 weeks & 4 days, I broke out in pimples around the hairline of my forehead and on my chin. I also got a few on my neck, I was hoping that could be a sign of a girl, lol... have any of you guys have any these symptoms?

It def said left side means girl on ultrasound! I read someone said if you ovulated on your left side that means girl. Is that true?

I'm hoping so. If it's a boy, he'll still be so loved, but a girl would be lovely. Time will tell, I guess...

I don't go much on symptoms as my second boy I was so nauseas day and night, couldn't eat a thing for 4 months and lost 5kg's!

hi there,
i had a similar experience. 2 boys age -- 2.5 and 17 months. tried to do IVF with pgd once and they all came back abnormal except once XY so we didn't transfer. i swayed this time for girl, and i am due july 18. praying for your baby girl, and mine also.. so glad to hear that symptoms don't matter bc i am not having any.. and i didn't have any for my boys

I know, he completely freaked me out GT77! I know its not possible for them to see anything gender related at 9 weeks so I don't know why he said that. Probably getting my hopes up for nothing, he'll be like 'oh, sorry, my mistake'!!!

Pinkone
November 12th, 2013, 03:51 AM
Hi tanjmom. Welcome and congrats! So sorry your pgd didn't work either - its so heartbreaking to go through all of that for nothing. And of course makes me think even more now that I will never have a daughter. I swayed with my second son but did things very differently to this sway. I am so nervous, this is really my last chance for a girl. Will you be finding out what you are having?

I will probably get the answer next week! Now that is scary. I just wish I felt sick or something and I even though i hate pimples i dont mind if the stay right now. I just want it to be a girl so badly!

Hi girls. I am joining you!!! I am only 12 DPO, got my BFP at 9 DPO, baby due July 26th 2014.
A bit of background, I am 40, DH is 46, I have 2 boys from previous marriage and a three year old from current marriage. I decided to sway because I would really love to have a little girl, but will be happy with another boy too. I guess I would have a master degree in raising boys if there was such a thing! :)
I did a basic sway, not too strict and didn't go too crazy on the diet. DH did nothing. Swaying wasn't as strict as I would have liked but in the end, a lot of it comes down to luck I think, and I hope I was lucky. I also hope this bean will be a very sticky one.
Wishing you all a great pregnancy and a healthy baby.

Sorry to hear you are feeling so sick. I had horrible morning sickness and vomiting with my first. Almost no nausea at all with my second. And the third one I always had afternoon sick, never in the morning. It was just waves of nausea that would hit me at work, it was awful. There was a coffee machine in the office and everytime someone touched it and I could smell the coffee just about made me puke.
So much to look forward to :) Hope you feel better soon.

Thanks but also feeling my one time attempt killed my girl shot it was to close to O.

. I think a. 3/4 day before ovulation would of been better.
I think I was either one or two day before and it's eating me up! I'm so upset. I'm wishing I didn't take clomid and I didn't have sex first nt of my hcg shot. My dr made me take the shot. I'm thinking I'm screwed because if I had one attempt three days before ovulation that's better then two days or one and I had an idea when I was ovulating. So I screwed up!! I should of had my one attempt before the shot. I'm happy to be pregnant sad about the attempt, It was either two days before I Dbd according to the dr but I'm convinced it was one day before ovulation. I have no symptoms!! And symptoms don't start til 7 weeks so u have some time Aidan and I feel my dream is over. Every symptom I have I read is boy. Including acne and boobs. It can go either way. My husband only wants two kids!! I take blood test tomorrow for gender materni21. I want my own girl I have a niece but it just isn't the same. I have such an handsome son who is incredible and I would love to have a daughter. I would feel I got what I wanted and so lucky with boy and a girl!! I'm feeling I went on clomid and the sex part I'm worried about! I know my progesterone has been very low and my hcg very high. Off the charts high. I just don't think that means girl. Some believe it does and others say it's an OWT. I pray I hear pink even though the bed part worries me.

Gt77 - sorry to board crash but I couldn't read & run. Please stop beating yourself up over the timing. TIMING HAS BEEN TOTALLY DEBUNKED!!! It sounds like you did a very strong sway with one attempt just before ov on Clomid. You have every chance at a girl. GL with your materniti21 test & try to enjoy your pg!! :hugs:

Btw symptoms mean NOTHING either! I had every girl symptom for the first time with this pg & am expecting ds3. Your body just reacts differently each time (or not) but it's not linked to gender, especially in the first trimester when the baby's so tiny. :)

Thank you! I will try and not wake up at 2am just thinking about what the sex will be. I also did cabbage test and intelligender maybe 5x lol. I mostly got boys but two times i got a girl result. I know that test is totally controlled by what u eat. lol I ordered one more test because i am going to drink a ton of cranberry juice and take the test the next am. I just want to see if it ends up being a girl. i read it will be. Its so hard not trying to read into the symptoms because of our society and everyone online believes in it so looking at my symptoms and comparing it is so hard not to get caught up in it. You are right though, I need to not focus on it and just be happy that I am pregnant and whatever it is it is!!

I've had quite literally one or two pimples, nothing really to speak of. Sore, heavy boobs and low tummy area feels quite thick. Had around a week and a half of mild waves of nausea which has eased considerably, but feel the need to eat every so often. If I ignore it, I start to feel a little nauseous then so more of a hunger thing rather than m/s. Have lucked out so far in that department.

Does anyone have any gut instinct as to which you think you'll have? Have you with any of your previous pregnancies? Were you right? So far I've had a very easy pregnancy - thinking it'll be a boy. Really don't mind as long as it's healthy and happy.

Thanks icesfire, GT and bunny. I'm feeling pretty good. How are you feeling? So far I have only had increased acne and hints of nausea, if anything. I guess that's a good thing. In two weeks I'm visiting family for Thanksgiving, so if the morning sickness gets rough it will be challenging to hide the pregnancy. I don't quite feel ready to tell my family yet.

I never get pimples. Ever. I usually have very good skin and might get one or two if I'm run down, nothing more, but never on my cheek but maybe my nose or on the hairline. I got a bright red one on my right cheek that's started to go down a little. DH of course picked up on it "oh... you've got a pimple right there", he says pointing at it...

Welcome to all the newbies and happy and healthy 9 months to all of you!!

I had my first regular OB appointment today and had another scan. Crazy how much the babies have grown in just one week! Both were looking good measuring right on track with a strong heartbeat. My OB gave me a medical certificate for work because she doesn't want me to work anymore. I am a nurse and she said it's high risk to work at a hospital especially when carrying twins. That means I can enjoy the pregnancy even more :). I will still get my salary every month but without having to work for it :). I also asked her if she does NT scans and how much it would be. It's way cheaper in her office than anywhere else BUT she is not sure if she would have to charge me for both babies or only one. She will let me know at my next appointment in 3wweks. Please keep your fingers crossed she won't charge me for both, I sooooo want to nubsess :). I am pretty relaxed about gender as for now but I guess it's because I have a double chance at my girl :-/.

Nausea seems to subside, I am feeling sooo much better! Still getting a little sick whenever I let myself get too hungry but nothing I could complain about.

GT, I also DTD 1 day before O, so I am trying to believe that timing has indeed been debunked and that will not affect anything. Having said that, the fact that I am craving salty things (exactly like my first boy) and have clear skin (I've hard pimples mean girls) and hardly any symptoms so far make believe I will be having another boy. There is also that old thing called gut feeling, and I have a gut feeling it's a boy. I hope I'm wrong, my gut feeling was right with the first one, wrong with the second, and right with the third. Hope I'm wrong this time. But I will try not to go overboard with stress as the most important is a healthy baby.
The only thing I noticed so far is full breasts and a roundish tummy (ALREADY!!!) and very, VERY moody, which didn't happen to any of my other pregnancies, so hoping that's a girl sign :), Other than that I don't even feel pregnant yet, even though, I'm only 4 weeks along, sure there's much more to come. :)
But don't beat yourself up. You are pregnant girl and that's reason to celebrate, when you see that little heartbeat and you know it's a little piece of you, gender ceases to matter so much. I hope we both hear pink though. Fx

Adia try first response test. Hope it works!!

Aidan- I just wished my "first attempt@ was three days before ovulation. I would love to hear girl sway stories of people who did have one attempt three or four days before O and had a boy. I would also love to know people like us who had one attempt day before O and had a girl. Do u know anyone?

Also the pimples can go either way. I am actually getting more white heads and black heads for some odd reason and tiny pimples on my hair line. That can go either way. After I find out gender I'm going to go to dermotogist because it's getting out of control but it isn't pimples but whiteheads so what is that all about? Who knows! I didn't break out before at all in years but I would love it to be a girl sign but it isn't strong enough. My heart beat at 8 weeks 177 and 10 weeks is 166. Upset it went down. But once again u can't tell by this. My boobs pain is like disappearing so not sure what that means. And I feel great does that mean a boy! Lol. If I heard the word "girl" In 2 weeks I be over the moon! I couldn't even explain my excitement but if I here boy I'll tell everyone I'm having another boy! If I'm having a girl I would love to send stuf to my family and surprise them! It would be a dream come true! So these no symptoms is what makes me not hopeful! This is also my last child so I really really would love a girl but a healthy baby is all that matters in the end of course!!

I can't find one girl sway attempt that had sex a day before ovulation, one attempt and had a girl. All the girl sway attempts that had sex the day before O, also had sex before. I am seeing three days, or 4 days before and then a day before ovulation. If you can find anyone girl sway who just had sex one day before ovulation, I would love to see it? I am looking for one sway attempts day before O and results and just saw myrainbowgirl one attempt before O and she had a boy. I am going to look thru each and every attempt and see if I can find anyone who had one attempt day before O and had a girl. I am so upset that I should of had sex 4 days before my O and bed 2 or 1 days before attempt. I think I would of had a better shot at a girl. Welcome and congratulations, July mamas!!

Pinkone, good uck (and enjoy!) your NT scan.

Pumpkin: wonderful to see those 2 strong heartbeats and *really* great your doctor is being proactive about you not over-exerting yourself through work. Enjoy the time and take care of yourself and those precious twins!

bunnywabbit: I never had intuition with either of my 2 boys and don't have a gut feeling this time either; but will be team green this time! I am nervous that it will be accidentally revealed during one of the scans, but hopefully not!

GT: I had one attempt with 4-5 day cut-off that resulted in a boy. Please don't give timing another thought! :)

Yesterday I felt a little nervous because I've had so few pregnancy symptoms, but I'm trying to be grateful for that and assume that all is well. Trying to decide when to tell my parents. Have some of you told family yet? Anyone kind of nervous to tell them so early in the pregnancy?

Welcome and congrats Leebug! And any others I may have missed - there's a lot of us on here now!
I should be 12 weeks today, going from my last ultrasound. Friday is the NT scan where I should be around 12 weeks 4 days. I am sooo nervous, is baby healthy, and I don't even want to look for a nub, I'm scared that I will see an obvious boy nub and that means in a few days my life will forever change, as this is my last opportunity for a girl. I don't feel mentally prepared to hear 'boy' again. I have told my gynae not to mention gender at any point (I have friends who have been to him and he has accurately told them at 12 weeks what they were having). I'm also going to get him to write down the gender in an envelope so my husband and I can open it after Christmas. We have family staying with us over the Christmas period and I don't want such a special time to be clouded with negative feelings if it does turn out to be another boy. There's no way I want to be sad for my kiddies at Christmas. So I guess in that way I am giving myself a bit more time to hope! As for how I'm feeling, my nausea still persists if I haven't eaten, but it is not bad, just mild. I have not been sick once this time, but I have stayed away from 'trigger' foods that made me sick last 2 times! Boobs still sore and I'm EXHAUSTED all the time, if I am cleaning the house, I clean for 10 minutes, then sit down and then clean again! Takes ages to get anything done! I hope you are all feeling a bit better as your pregnancies progress. I have had 2 friends tell me this week they are pregnant! And both a week ahead of me! I have only told immediate family as we always wait until the NT scan is given the all clear. So frustrating when I want to say 'I'm pregnant too'! Not long now anyway xx

Oh and GT77 - I see you were asking about BD'ing timing in relation to +OPK - we abstained for 6 days then DTD once at first +OPK, which I believe was 24 hours before O. I jumped and dumped after 5 minutes. With my first boy we DTD twice around ovulation with a day in between, I also propped legs up and went to sleep with hubby's present inside me and with boy number 2 we literally BD'd 6 days in a row up until O day and I also fell asleep with hubby's present inside me. So I was hoping for different timing, frequency and technique!

Congrats Leebug how exciting!!

So I'm not sure but I think my boob pain has gone away. I noticed it on my sides and now in worried again. I know my HCG levels are thru roof but haven't had any test since 8 weeks. I am breaking out in small pimples on my cheeks which has never ever happen to me in my life. I know but can go either way. My boobs jus aren't as painful and I'm of course reading with girls either have no pain, it can stop and it also can start at 10week! So confusing! I can't find pain stopping at 10 weeks and having a girl! See I'm driving myself up the wall with these OWT and that is why I just want to find out. I may find out this Thursday let's see.

GT77 I am 8w2d with twins and have no symptoms at all! No pimples no more nausea only sore nipples and fatigue but I am feeling great. The symptoms stopped about a week ago but I had a scan and know that everything is fine. With DS I felt nauseated for about two weeks starting week 8 and I was throwing up all day long. You really can't tell gender from OWT. Try enjoying your pregnancy especially if it is your last one.

I'd had two m/c in three months, so was a little nervous about telling family. Decided to tell them when I was 7.5 weeks. Have had to tell management at work (and a couple of others too). Feeling a little more happy this on with stick, but still have concerns at the back of my head no matter how much I try to push them out.

I have next to no symptoms apart from tender nipples. My pimple (count them - one!) has gone and no m/s or real nausea - the only nausea I get is if I have really sugary stuff or I eat something I wasn't particularly in the moods for. Problem is I don't really feel for anything in particular - no cravings, making things a little more difficult. Will see how it pans out, I guess. Still have a gut feeling it'll be a boy...

Had my first midwife appointment yesterday - longer than I thought! 101 questions on me, mine and DH's family medical background, weigh-in, blood tests and peeing in a pot. Looks like this will likely be a high-risk pregnancy because of blood pressure and diabetes that runs in the family, plus am bordering on a 'mature' age. Yay, me! Oh well, one day at a time and hope for the best.

Oh yeah, for anyone who's known me on the boards for a bit will know they wanted to refer me to a specialist for the repeat m/c. The letter turned up today for an appointment three days before my 12 week scan! Wondering if I still need to go now that I'm pregnant just to cover all bases or if I need to cancel the appointment. Will ring them tomorrow and see what they think...

Hello ladies!
Welcome to all the new July babies that are popping up. Today I'm exactly 12 weeks pregnant & still feel nauseous, very exhausted , little to no pain in my boobs {only sore when I wake up in the mornings}, & I'm sure there's more but nausea is my biggest complaint. Still haven't made it to a dr as there's been issues with my insurance I'm trying to fix. I also feel very calm with this baby I'm not obsessing or going ape sh*t crazy over gender lol to be honest what I did was told myself that it's a boy, picked out a boys name, baby boy nursery, & refer to my belly as a him :) & honestly I'm fine with that {it is what it is } my sister in law is having the VERY FIRST GIRL of our family in January so @ least I know if I have a boy, there's already a girl. Plus the chineese gender chart say boy, TMPOB said boy, tarot card on here said boy, so then I guess it's a BOY lol what can I do? Nothing ! Except enjoy my pregnacy & be happy. Although, right now, I'd kill 4 some sleep!!! Lol lol
P.S. By telling myself it's a boy I feel I won't have a heart attack when I hear it 100% via ultrasound :) this is my personal way of mentally preparing myself to hear boy so it's not a SHOCKER if it is indeed a little boy :)

I'm also doing my best to convince myself it's a boy! I'm having a harder time with it tho as Chinese chart says girl and Ramzi Theory says girl as well. I don't put much trust in either one if those but I keep having dreams (ALL NIGHT LONG) that it's a girl and it's really upsetting me!! I wish I could make them stop! I truly will be happy with a boy and I LOVE the boy name we have picked out.. I'm just going to continue doing my best to think blue!!

Dreamingof2girls and menlc611. That's a much healthier way of dealing with GD other than thinking GIRL GIRL GIRL and ending up with a boy. I am also convinced I'm having a boy, he's got a name already and I am sorting all my last son's baby clothes and keeping the cutest ones. To top that I am considering not finding out the sex until baby is born! I say that now but also now I'll be itching to know. I might change my mind. I just have that old bastard callled GUT FEELING screaming boy, so I decided to listen to it. I'm glad in a way I didn't go too strict with my sway, you know what they say, the higher the climb, the harder they fall (or something like that).
As for symptoms, nausea has kicked in the last few days, always in the afternoon but very mild. Had 3 pimples and that was it. Some heartburn and heavy boobs. Also feeling very tired. The worst so far has been restless sleep. I've been having the worst nightmares, like really scary stuff, and wake up with a start 2-4 times a night. Also waking up much earlier than usual, and I am one who can sleep soundly for 9 hours! Hope those dreams stop soon.
GT, good luck with the scan and keep us updated!

Hello ladies its still super early & symptoms are mild. The only things I have are sore boobs & I'm the most tired I think I have been in my entire life! My Poor DH & kids have had to put up with a very short tempered mom also. All of my other pregnancises I was sick the whole time so I'm hopping that doesn't come on with this one. Craving some of the same foods I craved with my DD so I'd like to think that's a good sign but I refuse to get my hopes up. Feeling very happy with my sway & pretty zen about the whole thing. Figuring I have the best chanced I could have for another DD but if this is a DS than he is def one meant to be little fellow. Have some boy names in mind & keep reminding myself its prob a boy. Actually I think I'm still in shock that I'm really prego really had prepared myself for this to be a much longer process!

Maybe it's too soon to see anything? What kind of ultrasound did he use? Just the standard one? I heard you can't see a thing until 6 weeks unless you have a transvj (ewww) done. If he hasn't done that one I wouldn't worry and wait another week or two. If your preg tests and blood work are positive you are preg, just give the little bean some time to grow. Mis2ninos I agree with the rest its probably simply to early. In the meantime sending ((hugs)) & prayers!

Aidansmum I'm not positive when I ovulated but my blood work yesterday showed me right abut the same as you on 16-17 DPO give or take. So that sounds like your good. Have to go back for a 3rd round of blood work tomorrow & 1st ultrasound is scheduled for next Tuesday.

I can not stop doing at home tests, & I do not know why I'm so paranoid but it feels better when I see a darker line than the last one. Hopefully after the ultrasound I can finally relax! Than I'll only have the stress of telling people & fear of the negative reactions. Not expecting to get a whole lot of congratulations. People were down right horrible with their comments when we had our 4th so I can only imagine what they will say this time. If we wind up with a DD I won't have a problem telling them where they can stick those comments but if its another DS it will be a bit harder. Happy & healthy is all that matters, really just wish I could fast forward till when we find out!

Leebug-
My husband lost a huge account and when he first found out I was pregnant he freaked out!! Granted, we were trying he just didn't think it would happen so fast. He then worried about just paying for two and at first it was like oh my god, but he has settled down and after speaking to his parents and his sister he is ok now. I totally understand, I am 36 and he is 40, and ii think they just don't realize when you are trying you get pregnant fast! LOL He will calm down and I am telling you I got yelled at too with no excitement on his end when he first found out. I understand, but he will come around!

does anyone know if your boobs stop hurting after 11 weeks, if you can still have a girl? I have read a lot of stories online from the moms boobs hurting or not hurting with girls, but I can't seem to find the boobs hurting and stopping at 10 weeks 1/2. I just want to know if any of you have any idea?

November 21st, 2013, 04:05 PM
GT, GT, GT, you know I love ya but you gotta quit doing this to yourself. Take a step back for a minute and ask yourself if it even makes one iota of sense that with a girl pregnancy your boobs miraculously will stop hurting at 10 1/2 weeks. You can't tell gender from symptoms to begin with and you certainly can't tell from something so oddly specific like that.

Boy babies are barely making testosterone at the stage of gestation you're at. T production doesn't even peak until 17 weeks gestation, long after most of the early pg symptoms have already gone away - it is not the differences between boys and girls causing pregnancy symptoms.

This is also interesting, early HCG levels. Early Pregnancy HCG Levels and Ultrasound Pictures (http://www.advancedfertility.com/earlypre.htm)

You can tell I've been spending some time researching :)

I'm having another blood work on monday and we'll see what happens.

GT77, according to what I've read your hcg means you could be having twins :)

My dh freaked out when I told him-he wasn't happy at all.he said I forced him into another child & didn't even know if he wanted the baby.he agreed to try for 3 months but he said he only did that because he was "playing the odds" that it wouldn't happen.I'm 35 & he will be 38 in Dec. Ive been so sad & disappointed.he really is a good man.he has been super stressed @ work & we live with his parents right now because we just sold our house(he hates it here)so I'm trying to be understanding.

That's so unfair Leebug! It must be hard on you. My DH was a bit weird about it at first but he seems to have accepted it ok, even though I feel he's not as involved as he was when I fell pregnant with my little boy. I feel like this is my little project, he even calls himself 'just the sperm donor', in a joking manner, but it still hurts a bit.

does anyone know if your boobs stop hurting after 11 weeks, if you can still have a girl? I have read a lot of stories online from the moms boobs hurting or not hurting with girls, but I can't seem to find the boobs hurting and stopping at 10 weeks 1/2. I just want to know if any of you have any idea?

I have no idea either, but I don't put any faith in these old wives tales, there is no pattern for anything, just personal experiences. And in the end, whatever will be, will be, no matter how much sweat, blood and tears we put into it.

:( I hope they are kind to you, it's awful when people makes us feel bad. I am waiting to tell my mom, being 40 she thinks I'm crazy to fall pregnant again. I am getting ready to be told off, she always makes me feel like I am 15! But that's what she does, it doesn't last though, but it always makes me a bit nervous to tell her, I thought she'd be used to it by now, it's the 4th time :)

Mis2ninos- I have read a ton of stories where the hcg level is low and then it turns around. Just hold on tight. I hope the hcg level goes up tomorrow. Everyone hcg level goes up differently. Some low and some very high and it still doesn't always mean what it looks like! 4 weeks is very early for ultrasound my clinic doesn't allow it to 5 1/2 weeks. You do seem rather early. So keep your head up!

I'm still not sure if I want to find out. No nub shot yet (am due around 26th June). I'm 12 weeks the week before Christmas, but have postponed the scan for a week so I go for my scan at 13+4 just before Christmas (23/12). Hoping all will be ok - some on and off mild cramps and aches down below - not really worried pain-wise, just annoying, and because I've not held a pregnancy to term I have no previous reference as to if all is, in fact, fine.

mis2ninos, did you check this website? The BetaBase (http://www.betabase.info/) There's lots of successful pregnancies with your numbers, apparently it is REALLY just the doubling that counts, not the number itself, have a look, it might cheer you up a bit while you wait for your second blood work.

Mis2ninos I am so so sorry you have to go through this! We've been trying to conceive for a year with two miscarriages along the way. DH was also positiv telling me that god might have bigger plans for us and it will happen whenever he thinks we are ready. I won't try and give you false hope, the spotting and the faint HPTs are not good signs. All I can do is to wish you from the bottom of my heart that it is going to happen for you very soon!! I am wishing you all the best and you are always welcome here!!

mis2ninos - thinking of you and so sorry for all you worry.

Hello to the other ladies :)

I went for my 12 week NT scan yesterday and have now convinced myself its another boy. The tech asked my husband if we wanted to find gender and he said not yet, to which the tech replied 'you can tell at 12 weeks anyway'. Which I don't believe as he told 2 other ladies I know what they were having at 12 weeks. So we are doing the scan and thankfully baby appears healthy on the scan, just waiting for blood test results next week. He does a view of the legs from the top, so looking down from the tummy and I very clearly see something between the legs. I was 12 weeks 4 days. The nub shot isn't accurate as the baby is very curved, nub looks flat but I'm not convinced due to the angle of the spine. And then he says 'baby is looking very handsome' and quickly says 'or pretty, as we cant tell at the moment'. Felt like he was covering up. So I'm not in a good place right now and have been googling 12 week potty shots all day, I just feel like all hope has gone.

Well, speaking 4 myself I can't get better as the weeks go by!! Nausea is still very strong & present, exhaustion is still here, don't know if this is related but can't stop sneezing all the time, pimples on my hairline, zit on my jaw line, pimple on my lip, but hey @ least my back, boobs, & headache pains didn't come this time. So the term-NO PREGNANCY IS THE SAME- is very true for me :)

Me too!! Anyday!! Tomorrow is 7 business days, but they said somewhere between 7-10. AS much as I want a girl I am getting ready to hear boy. And, I am also getting ready to be excited about it, so I think I am going to be ok either way. I have also decided I am going to do the amio and I know it is supposed to be very very painful! Not looking forward to it, but i need to know everything is ok. So, I want just a healthy child and I don't want to obsesses anymore, now if I heard GIRL, I would be like freaking out! LOL I cant even describe how happy i would be! We all would be if we heard girl! But, I feel I need to get ready only because not like u guys I am not sick at all! And, I dont feel any different then my last pregnancy there is no difference at all. I am breaking out on my face, that's it and my boobs are slightly sore but not killing me like they were. I don't know if maybe i was on clomid this time and that is why maybe i am breaking out. I also read because my hcg levels were so high that maybe it was because of that. I am praying girl, my hcg levels were very very strong and grew rapidly early on. It was 3x then it was supposed to be. But, I ovulated on my right side. We will see!! Whatever is meant to be will be. I am praying i tested exactly at 10 weeks for materni21 and if there is any Y in my blood at 10 weeks, then I am def having a boy!! If there is a chance that i have NO Y< i will be beside myself and be the happiest person in the whole wide world, i will be so happy but we will see. So, i kind of feel i may not find out this week. Snips it took her 2 half weeks and now my week is short because of the holiday. I think thursday and friday is considered a no answer day, don't u think friday i will never hear. :( so if i dont hear mon, tues, wed then i am not hearing to the following week!! AHHHHH I have an appointment with my dr. office on dec 2, so i will have a scan and u guys can all guess my nub then! So, we will see!! I am waiting and also trying to prepare myself for my son having a best friend or being an amazing older brother to a sister. I am just so excited for my son to have playmate. And, tonight getting ready i had a wedding my son goes, mommy you look beautiful. So, as much as I want a girl, I know it isn't everything, but if I could have the chance to have a girl I would be one very very happy person. So, since the baby is already decided, whatever will be will be!! As soon as I hear i am going to let u guys know!!

I know there is a 1% chance, but I think I would rather know that everything was 100% ok, then go with maternal test which I heard is only 91% sure. I pretty sure amio checks for more, i will discuss it more with my dr. on dec 2. I heard that the amnio is the most painful experience ever! So, it won't be a joy ride, but I am 36 and I did do clomid and hcg shot, so i am thinking maybe its best for me to know just in case.

I did an amnio with one of my boys. But, that was only because one of my blood test came back abnormal. Where I am amnio is not an option you choose to do. There must be something physically wrong in order for you to get one. I.e. Ultrasound or blood work. When I did the amnio honestly, it wasn't bad @ all. I held DH hand the whole time & I didn't look @ what the dr was doing I kept focused on the screen. I also think the dr who did it had hands of an
angel!!! She made me comfortable & I felt no pain.

Hope you start to feel better soon. I go through a full day of being fine then BAM out of nowhere the next day everything makes me nauseous. My DO thinks it's funny to say maybe I am having twins and one likes me sick and the other doesn't so they take turns messing with me! He wouldn't be laughing if there were actually 2 in there :) But we will find out tomorrow morning at my 6 week scan for accurate due date.
