DH's pH

Tested him last night as we cut off today he was around 8.4-8.6 is this high enough:worry:

That sounds pretty high, I'm on IG and I haven't seen anyone mention their DH'S being that high so far. They are mostly around 5 to 6.

I think your DH's Ph is great! I'd be happy with that....I have no way of knowing my donor's haha
In the 9's would probably be ideal but you're as close as they come!

Any last minute ideas to help boost it not that we can check now though lol? Should we hold off this month and wait for his pH to get to 9?

I reckon if you do your bit to make your Ph high too you'll have a great chance. The BSF and all, combined with your hubby's ph of 8 should make a great combination!

I have seen on IG on sways some have put 9+ for hubbys so I guess you can????

Wow that's great, good luck to you if you're going to aim for that! I still think 8 is great so you guys have done well!
I wonder if that's due to diet or supplements...

Prob a bit of both I am guessing? I don't know now wether to miss this egg and work on our pH more?

It's a big choice, going for it or not going for it! If you're having doubts and you do end up pregnant with a girl you might always regret not waiting til you got the PH higher. But if you are confident you've done everything you possibly can and still end up with a girl you might feel differently about it....I don't know.

I think it is high enough, I lean more toward Atomics way of thinking over IG's anyway .....

That's a great pH so you just don't worry! My DH is around the same. He can also drink bsd to get higher if you like. We did that too DH was like 9 for sure. (had only ph papers back then so don't know exact reading of ph)

Thanks Queen! I am getting him to drink lots of pineapple juice from now till I O and we now cut off so can't test.. so do you think it is "safe" to try with his pH at a min of 8.6? The juice should help hey and he is now having ural too?

I think 8.6 is pretty darn good but most importantly if you feel comfortable with it then that is all that matters! I know nothing about Ural sorry and the only time dh has pineapple is when i make a pineapple upside down cake once a year but I trust all the research and heart that has been put into figuring all this Ph friendly info so if it were me i would feel content that my ph was great.Good luck!!

Most men's pH is naturally in the 7's. It is unusual to have pH in the 9's and may even indicate that a guy has an infection. You do NOT need pH in the 9's to conceive a boy.

If they have their husbands drink BSD, some guys can get their pH up that high. I would seriously take the IG stats very carefully because I think a LOT of people fudge their info to make their sways look better.
