I am in the month before ttc. I have been doing the diet taking magnesium and calcium and vitex. I'm worried about my temps. Before taking supps and diet my temps were around 36.30 and then rose to 36.70 when I ovulated. This month they have been around 36.25 or one low of 36.04 and today 36.40 when I've ovulated. Is this worrying as my temps were more extreme before? My ovulation temp is now lower. Also before I got 2 faint lines for opk and then strong one but this cycle no faint lines at all and then one strong one yesterday and ovulated today. I'm so confused!!! Any help much appreciated, should I be worried? Should I stop vitex? Thanks! Hope this makes sense!

I am at the opposite swaying for boy lol but this cycle my temps have gone different too!? Am guessing it is hormone related from the supps/diet..

I'm not on vitex and my temps are lower this month I don't know why!

I have no idea about temps but when I asked Atomic about Vitex and regular cycles (which I've had in the past) she felt it might be helpful to take the Vitex even if it means some uncertainty, because then my body's doing something different to what it usually does. Perhaps the fact that your body is doing something different is good?

The temps thing is one of those enigmas wrapped in a riddle wrapped in a mystery. I just don't think the evidence is there yet to base ANYTHING on regarding gender ratio. Even the idea that prog sways pink (which is why temps might "matter") is suspect to me, because older women have lower progesterone yet higher odds of conceiving a girl.

Losing weight DOES change your metabolism and can change your BBT. It may be simply because you've lost some weight.

I wouldn't sweat the OPK, sometimes things are just a bit different in your body from month to month and nothing to worry over. I wouldn't stop the vitex because it has worked for people.

I think I answered you on another thread already but I wouldn't worry at all about the temps and def. keep up with hte vitex!!
