Frequency once positive opk

We are finally trying for the first month! We DTD on CD 6, and today I got a positive smiley opk using the clearblue digital opk. It's cd 9. If we DTD today, and the next 3 days, will it still sway blue? I think I read on here that frequent release would have to take 7 days or so, but google reports show so many girls being born when people DTD all three days! I know correlation ins't necessarily causation. Thoughts?

You should try to have 3 attempts in the fertile window. Optimal bd times are I think night of +opk, next morning or during the day, and later that night and also I think maybe the next morning or during the day as well but I am not 100% sure. Good luck.

We are getting 80% success with BD 3 times after pos OPK.

When people start BD before their fertile window opens and then BD thru O, then that can sway pink because their husbands are already depleted by the time the fertile window opens and any sperm in there ahead of that will ahve died off. It's a totally different thing than not BD till the fertile window opens. That can confuse the issue.

Pink sway tactic - start BD/release at AF and DH will have had 10-12 releases before fertile window opens, so all those sperm will have died off long before they have a shot at the egg. His sperm numbers will be diminished from all the BD.

Blue sway tactic - start BD when fertile window opens, all sperm have a chance of survival, so with each subsequent attempt you are adding more and more swimmers to the mix and this sways blue. DH also really can't get THAT depleted from 2,3,4 attempts in a row, it takes 7-10 to do that.

Fertile window = O-4 thru O Day. You can get pg O-4 and O-3, but it's much lower odds so best to hold off a couple days to be sure that the fertile window is really open

Fertile microwindow with best odds of conception - O-2, o-1, and O day. A lot of people refuse to TTC 2 days before ovulation because they're so indoctrinated with Shettles boy timing, so I compromise and have the attempts O-1 and O day. you can def. have an attempt before that if you aren't scared of Shettles.

For blue sway, is it better to do -4,-2,and O or -5, -3, -1 and O? Is postive opk about on -2? If so,do 3 attempts after positive O, means -2, -1 and O? Is that right?

For a blue sway, DTD every 2-4 days until +OPK. Then get 3 attempts in in 24 hours, like, night of +OPK, next morning, then the second night.

You will O 8 - 48 hours after first +OPK.

Welp life got in the way, and we ended up doing it only on -4, -1, and O. The only other time DH rrleased was, -10, and -6. Gah! Hopefully this still swayed blue.

I think it is still a blue sway attempt to feel good about!! Sending you a ton of blue dust.
