Ok we are going to BD around 2-3am.. it is currently 12.40am, THIS is some determination I tell you!!! LOL!!
I reckon around 10pm was my surge so it is around 5hours since +. I think that is good enough, going by how favourable my CM is, CP and the O pains :)
DH is soon to start his energy drinks, he has TWO monster drinks, we won't sleep tonight lol thankgod the big girls are getting the bus to school tomorrow and home again, we can set the little two up with a DVD and we can try to nap throughout the day HAHA
I am so excited!!!!! Can't believe this time has come around again.

YAY TTC5, good luck to you! I think the best timing to aim for if you are doing a one-shot bd attempt is to try for 12-18 hours after your first +opk....then you are early if at all, better than late.
Bec, I will check that out that thread about the FSH. I am not so worried about it now, as I think it may have been a hair high due to the recent pregnancy and m/c. I have been taking wheatgrass daily for about a month now, and feel good. Thanks!
Tink, glad you had a good anniversary and love your shower bfp tale. So fun! Makes me excited to have that moment again also....but of course, now I'm not going to get excited with having 2 m/c this year. 3PNB, I know how you feel about that. It's very nice to get past your icky week, though. Hopefully we will all have success this time around and our little ones will stay put until they come out as a 7lb wailer!

Welcome to swaying! LOL There isn't a single gal who doesn't feel this way. I FREAKED my first attempt, running around like I had to have my little bedside lab set up just right. DH was pretty amused. You get a bit more whatever about it each month that goes by. Best thing to do is have everything in order, so when you suddenly get your +opk, you can just go with the flow.bedside lab:rofl:

Lola how are you going? :)
Oh, I'm good lady, thanks for asking! I'm about CD8 or 9, and giving this month a miss. I am starting to be a little more strict on diet after this weekend and no more alcohol or skipping meals. (I am terrible about not eating when busy at work.) I think my sway in August, which should be attempting around the 5th or so, will be mostly hinging on diet and I will use some preseed....toying with the idea of a little ew again. I think that all depends on if my dr gives me Clomid for that month or not. I see her next Tuesday. I am still taking a bunch of antioxidants and all for egg health, but also the fish oil and EPO and drinking green tea and all. Hoping it helps.
OMG you are about to do your thang, so excited for you!!!! Good luck, and will be sending Y sperm juju through the air over to AUS now!!!!! xoxoxoxo

bedside lab:rofl:
Haha, it was a mess! For rizz, I had a box of baking soda for the bsf, bowl of ew with the dropper, an instead cup, a little vibrator to help with O's if needed , my cell phone and laptop to lay on top of my abdomen, and I can't remember what else now. Probably some other stuff also. My DH was like WTF????

LOL, I remember the bedside lab Lola!! So funny!
Go TTC5 GO!!!! WHoo hooooo!!!
Made my 1st appt for 8 weeks, so 7/28. Major anxiety setting in re: hoping for a healthy baby. Won't really settle down til the little pink screamer gets here ... sigh. Too many close friends with too many health issues with their kiddos, KWIM? What I wouldn't give to go back to DD1's pregnancy where I was just ignorant. Truly was bliss ... anyhow I'll feel better after the 1st u/s, forget looking for nubs, just make sure the kiddo is a-ok :fingers: (though I know I will look for a nub, LOL!) And this is a mood and it will pass, but oh how I hope for a healthy baby

Oh yea, Begonia! Now it's official, you have an appt! I never have had a blissful pg, as I had a chemical first pg ever. Then 2 weeks later, I ovulated and conceived #1, but I still worried just a bit until I was about 7 weeks and nauseated to all hell and had an u/s which confirmed heartbeat. Then I relaxed. But don't worry, I think it is best for us all to ASSUME that your little bean is furiously developing and doing well until otherwise notified. KWIM? And when you get a nub shot, we are all gonna get obsessed. All of you better be posting one!!!!!

YES to all of this!!!
Thanks for the kind words Lola
Oh and Jen, I was thinking about how you said you gave in and will never satisfy the incessant need for food for the fetus. LOL. I haven't been that hungry, just mild nausea (almost more like just an aversion to food in general) but this morning I woke up DESPERATE for a fried chicken sandwich, LOL  I was happy just to be hungry and wanting food again!
How are you doing Babydes?

Kris - thanks, at this point I'm still just hoping there is a rest of the pregnancy.
ttc5 - glad you went for it! Funny how men whine about the 4 day cut off lol
Bec- It was so nice having dh home, he's way too good to me :)
Cheeky - glad your cm is improving. As for chinese calendars, I can't find one that's right for all my existing kids lol
Jane - ita I had my first sway planned for months and when I o'd early complete panic set in lol I don't think you can ever plan this enough to just relax and have faith till it's too late to worry i.e. the next morning lol ita with Lola, the longer you do this you're like eh good enough. FX you never lose your panic :)
B - sorry your ick has set in but yeah for being able to go back to your survival eating lol congrats on your first appt, fx its a good one :) I envy your craving for chicken sandwich, the smell of meat makes me gag. Congrats on wanting food again, I feel like I've done nothing but stuff my face for the last 6 months lol
Lola - that's all I want at this point is the 7lb wailer. Your lab sounds like mine used to be, but you forgot extra pillows for propping lol So excited for you for Aug!
Well I can finally breathe out of both nostrils but not very well, dh said you could hear me snoring from the hall with the bedroom door shut. He actually slept on the couch last night because "I don't want that" awe what a sweetie lol. I hate when he doesn't sleep with me but love having the whole bed :)

Just for a laugh................
1) Yes I am obsessed.......
2) yes i do stick them onto a table and keep them for future reference
3) Yes I am aware they have pee on them and keeping for months is perhaps a bit unhygenic but please see point 1)

Hi ladies, been busy lately so havent logged in for a few days. Lola, welcome back! Your attempt will be here soon, cant wait to hear all.
TTC5, i see you made your attempt, how did it go?
Cheek, you are one poas queen loool. I guess you get to know your cycle better this way
Begonia & 3PNB sorry you both not feeling that great, sorry dont wanna rub it in but i'm feeling great. Last week i was a bit icky & fed up & i think it was a lot to do with the heat, it was unusually hot for England. Eating a lot & peeing a lot too & that's about it for me. I usually start having nausea around 6-8wks so it could still be coming.

If i'm right there was someone on IG who could predict sex from 6wks scan. I wonder if they'll give me scan pic, i'll ask well that's if all's ok

It was Alsestis and she did it based on Ramzi's theory ( placenta position-right side->boy, left side->girl) This theory is very accurate ( surprisingly Imo) you can google more info.
Also, you can post your u/s pics so we can obsess together about placenta position :p

Thanks ladies, scan went well. Strong heartbeat, i'm 7wks 1day preg. Estimated due date 11/2/12. I asked about placenta & was told it's too early, placenta only develops from 10wks. I did however get a scan so will post it, she said she thinks i ovulated from my right so i'd guess that i implanted on the right too. I read that implanation has no relation to gender of baby.
Zivic, wot did Alsestis say about early scan? I'll look up on IG, if i'm correct she said she could tell from a scan that early
Zivic-Bubac
June 30th, 2011, 04:18 PM
If you implanted on the right, it's probably:bigboy::fx:
Unfortunately, I don't remember how early she could tell the gender. If you are still on IG, maybe you could ask her?

I hope it's a boy but also preparing myself for a girl too. I must say i was just too happy when i saw the heartbeat that i didnt care at that time what baby i'm getting as long as it's healthy
I did go on IG & asked Alsestis to predict but i dont know if she's seen my mesg, will let you know

Yes i'm sure seeing a hearbeat is the most wonderful thing, FX it's a little boy growing in there or a healthy beautiful baby girl :)

Well ladies BFN today :(
I am officially done with swaying. I just really want to be pregnant!
Thanks for all the support on here and good luck to everyone. Hope you all have a healthy and happy nine months.
take care
Sorry, P. The diet, keeping your blood sugar up and some supps (just vitamins - I think you don't take any though) shouldn't effect you getting prego and are the best for ttc boy. You might just want to continue w/ that and forgo timing and everything else. I don't think any of the above stuff will make getting your BFP take longer and would still get your boy odds up. Just keep that stuff in mind and forget the rest. I'm so sorry, momma!
