It has been confirmed at our 19 week ultrasound that we are having a little girl. I am so beyond excited!! Thank you so much Atomic, and all of the rest of you wonderful ladies who have answered questions or offered support and encouragement. I am over the moon right now...I can't stop smiling.

DH Age:
38
Current Children's Gender(s)

Number of Months TTC

Did you purchase and follow a GD Personalized Plan?
No
DIET
Did you follow a diet plan?
Yes
If yes to diet, which one did you most follow? LE(Low Everything)

Comments regarding DW's diet changes-
I was on a low calorie weight loss diet for 4 months before starting an LEish diet starting 6 weeks before attempt. I followed the principals and watched levels, but I did NOT cut out white meat or fish, and I also did not limit sodium. I did have occasional "cheats" when I was over limits (especially protein), but mostly I did pretty good.

Also, I only skipped breakfast during the 2WW because I was exercising in the mornings and had to eat.
If diet was used, length of time before attempt?
LE was 6 weeks before attempt, but I was on a low calorie weight loss diet (and lost 20 lbs) during the 4 months before starting LE diet.
Did you skip breakfast regularly?
No
Did DH change his diet with you?
No
Comments regarding DH's diet-
Did not change a thing
DId you consume alcohol? A couple of drinks per week

DId you try to limit caffeine?
No, I did not factor that into my sway
Any Diet Details?
Cut out red meat and stayed as close to nutrient limits as possible. I drank water, diet pepsi, crystal light, pep tea. (AF-O) Ate a lot of cucumber, salad, and pasta.
Any Diet Comments/Additional Info?
I found the diet difficult. I was working out, therefore burning 500-550 calories per day, which meant I had to eat more, which made it really difficult to stay under protein limits. I was really hoping for a BFP on the first try just so I didn't have to continue the diet. Plus, I didn't want to choke down peppermint tea any longer.
WEIGHT AND EXERCISE
What did you weigh/BMI do leading up to O?
127 at O. Lost 30 lbs total in the 5 months before TTC (weight loss diet plus LE diet at the end).
Any Weight/Exercise related additional info/comments?
Cardio for 60 Min, 5 days per week.

Any VG potions used? NO

CM pH at attempt

How many BD attempts did you make for the BFP cycle?
1
BD Dates according to Ovulation 2 Days Before O

Any additional comments?
I meant to do BD 1 day before O, but happened to use OPK that night, got a positive, and jumped the gun a little bit. I knew we caught the very beginning of the surge and considered doing it again the next day (also positive OPK), but I really wanted to stick with one attempt, so I just made mental notes of what to do differently if we had to try again the next month.
We also did abstain, which I know is not recommended for his age, but we did it anyway. I guess he has super sperm because it worked anyway.

Did you use any Old Wives Tales?
I bought a dress and had it in my dresser drawer, but I forgot to put it under the bed.
Things that make me feel great about my sway:
I feel good about my exercise and our one attempt, and my 30 lb weight loss. I also felt very calm and confident in my plan and was not stressing about our attempt.
Things that make me nervous about my sway:
I did just OK with diet, and fell off the wagon around O, because hubs was home on vacation from work and threw me off my routine.
Things worth mentioning:
Overall, I really felt very confident in our plan and am very hopeful to give birth to a little girl in July.

Great, great sway, hun! You're so lucky to have a bfp first month trying! It makes that you had full six weeks exercising before attempt, which is awesome! Fingers crossed for a pink bundle!

Thanks....crossing my fingers.....it is going to be a LONG pregnancy waiting for that ultrasound. Either way, though, this baby will be loved.
