Does anyone know how much soy isoflavone there is in lettuce and tomatoes? It was mentioned on IG not to have soy isoflavones in lettuce and tomatoes when taking Clomid but was never actually followed with a detailed reason or response.

My thinking is that the amounts found in lettuce and tomatoes can't be high enough to actually interefere with Clomid. Otherwise there would be a warning not to eat these foods when taking Clomid wouldn't there? Just trying to find out for sure though.

Well, I did some research and it looks to me like some researchers are genetically modifying lettuce and tomatoes to produce soy isoflavones. Maybe someone read a study and got confused??

I would not worry about it at all. Lettuce and tomatoes are not even botanically related to soybeans and if such compounds are in them, it would be in miniscule amounts.

Thanks Atomic!

I thought it sounded a little odd but wanted to clarify.
