Basically I'm crap with charting...last month on our one attempt I thought ovulation happened after the crosshair, so we BD's then...but we were wrong and missed the egg.

This month it predicted I would ovulate on 3rd Nov (CD15) but I felt "weird" on the 1st Nov- only way to describe it - and therefore convinced hubby to BD earlier than the chart told us to...looking at my chart I feel I was right and it looks to me like we BD'd right on Oday...Am I right?

If I am....what are our chances for having conceived this cycle and does anyone else suspect the dip at 6DPO is an "implantation" dip (I had heavy cramps that day and genuinely felt AF was about to start but not even spotting)?

By now I normally start spotting, but I've had nothing....the cramps have also stopped and I've had no mood swings so far (normally get them around this time too).

I'm now 8DPO and hubby is away to fetch a digital HPT after a faint positive this afternoon on internet cheapie we had left from last month...so very faint though - but there after only 30 seconds or so...tried to take a piccie but again so faint the flash shines it out and without flash it doesn't focus grrr!

Here's my chart - don't know how to link it sorry it's a screenshot:

Its hard to say if you caught the egg or not. Not to be a pooper, but implantation dips are, IMO, nonesence. It is normal to have a dip at around 7dpo (meaning it can be before or after and always goes right back up). I think the "implantation dip" brings a lot of disappointment and grief to many. :( The dip experienced at that time COULD be implantation or it COULD just be a shift in estrogen that also happens at around 7dpo.

What I DO find reassuring is that you are not spotting as you normally would. When I had a decent LP, I would always start spotting at 5-7 dpo (a bit of spotting at this time is also normal and doesn't always mean implantation bleeding, but the same shift in hormones causing the spotting). I would start spotting until AF arrived a week later. The ONLY time I didn't have that happen was when I was pregnant. :) So...! Hopefully you caught the egg and its starting to nestle in nicely! :D KUP!

Coyle I think you're in it to win it this month. I can't tell what day you ovulated on, no one can.

Agree with greeneyes' brilliant reply with slightly more confidence in implatnation dip, also think the lack of spotting is meaningful and the cramping

chart looks very promising, strong temp range difference but too early to say if any pregnancy signs there... good luck!

Thanks every one - temp is still slowly rising...but I don't feel like anything has happened if you know what I mean lol..digital said no - so now we're holding off testing again until 14DPO (5 days time). Thanks again everyone - I have everything crossed lol
