I feel that way too. Both my boys were conceived first try. And I conceived first attempt with this one too. I was on the diet for 10 weeks, antihistamine daily for 2 weeks prior to attempt, hubby abstained for 6 days, I jumped and dumped after 5 minutes, I took Vitex which didn't alter my cycle at all, hubby took LR and I STILL had EWCM, not as much, but it was certainly there for 5 days prior and I DTD once at fist +OPK. Am 11 weeks today so don't know what we are having but this also worries me greatly.

Oh, and I drank coffee and alcohol by the gallon too!

Sometimes you just get lucky!!! There are plenty of ladies who conceive girls first month out. Sending you a ton of pink dust.

DH and I conceived our daughter 6 years ago. One hit wonder. One day out of the WHOLE month. I have had a bunch of EWCM my whole life. The only thing that makes sense to me is my diet. I had a very girl friendly diet. I mean obviously DH and I had to be fertile not many people can be lucky enough to get pregnant one day out of the whole month on a whim. And I went to the restroom immediately afterwards. We got pregnant this time swaying for a boy and I completely changed my diet and it looks like we are having a boy. So don't feel discouraged. It's totally possible to be super fertile and have a girl! I also have another friend who had a boy then a girl and now another girl on the way. She gets pregnant by getting sneezed on it seems. Only thing that has changed about her is that ever since she had her son she has been dieting like crazy and was both times she got pregnant with the girls.

Just thought I might add my little story to the mix. I am currently pregnant wit baby 5. With baby 1,2,3 (G,B,B) I was on some form of birth control pills and still got pregnant. We tried for number 4 (B) after he was born I got a tubal ligation done 12/14/2011, because we were done having kids. Well now I am pregnant with baby FIVE (38 weeks)!! Who just so happens to be a girl. Seems like all my husband has to do is look at me! lol also for number 4 we didn't have to even try either, got pregnant before i even got a normal period after having my implanon removed.

Just got a BFP 1st try coming off of BCP. Hadn't even completed my first full cycle & my Dr told me there was pretty much no chance of me conceiving this month. Dh released on his own than we DTD within 2 hours I was on Antihistimines also & I jumped & dumped within 5 mins. Pretty much thinking I should have had little to know chance I started thinking about our next attempt. This also happened 1 time before with my only DD. I don't know of course what I'll have but I believe sometimes things just work out perfectly & in the end whats meant to be will be. Good luck & congrats!
