Menopur only cycles

Hi Dr Braverman.

We have many International patients on here that often end up turning to the US after a failed cycle overseas. I see many International clinics using Menopur only cycles. Do you have an opinion on a cycle that consists of Menopur only? Can it be too much LH for many women?

I know this is a really old thread but having cycled internationally on only Menopur am wondering Nutthinbutpink whether you found out more about Menopur only cycles (esp older patients with low AMH )...or if you can direct me to a thread on the topic, thanks!!

I really think overall its not a big issue to use Menopur only cycles, unless you have PCOS and already elevated LH levels.

Thanks for your reply Dr Braverman, I have just received results and of 19 embryos, only 1 made it to day 6 (none to day 5), they normally expect at least 1/3 to make it - do you know if Menopur only may be a cause of this (my LH levels were 8.9 on day 3 of cycle in pre-tests). Or any other explanations? Very disappointing. Thanks
