So I just got my results back on my Progesterone levels they are at a .Yikes, not even a 1:( I don't know what to do now should I stop LE and introduce meat, but stick to the 1800-2000 calorie limits (I'm on the upper levels)? I have been on LE 6 1/2 and do have cheats on weekends. I always feel extremely exhausted, despite the fact that I get 7-8 hrs of uninterrupted sleep. I do my 60 min cardio 6 days a week.
Also, Dr. wants me to starts my next round of Provera until CD25, in case I get pregnant from here until then...really? I'm on CD25 with nothing should I just bump it up and start my Provera on CD28 and then my first round of Clomid days 3-7 (as advised)?
Please help me someone, I need to have some Progesterone :(
TIA

What part of the cycle were you in when this was tested??
My recommendation is to hold off on the meat, have a serving of full fat dairy every day, and 2 eggs 3x a week (6 total but space them out).
RE being exhausted, I think you need to try adding in 18-30 mg iron taken daily for 2 weeks, then switch to 3x a week.
I'm not quite following what your doctor's directions were with the Provera. As a general rule it's best to follow your doctor's instructions and I can't really tell you what to do until I have a better understanding of why they gave those directions.

Thanks for the response, it was my 21 day cycle Progesterone check (after first round of Provera). I'm still tempting and using OPK's have been doing since July, but never have not Ov since then. He put me on another roundof Provera to start AF and then Clomid from Cd3-7.Thanks and I will go buy some Iron pills this afternoon, and add some fill fat diary. With my Progesterone being extremely low can Clomid help me have a successful pregnancy? TIA

Are you using the Provera to bring on AF?

did you ovulate or not? If you didn't ovulate prior to the bloodwork, then it's perfectly normal for your progesterone to be low at that part of your cycle and absolutely nothing to worry about.
I'd still do the iron and dairy/eggs to try and bring on ovulation, and clomid absolutely does raise your progesterone, but the number was likely only that low because you didn't ovulate. Progesterone is naturally low before ovulation, and it doens't matter what cycle day you are on if you have not ovulated. No ovulation, no progesterone, because it's the hole that the egg comes out of that makes progesterone.

No I didn't Ov on my first round, I was just worried that we had to skip a couple of months to raise Progesterone because it can cause a m/c. Thanks ladies, my next 21 day bloodwork will be to check my levels but this time after taking Clomid. Please wish me luck with a sticky bfp and hopefully pink!

Well I'm guessing he's saying do the provera at day 35 to see if you DO ovulate. I personally don't think it will make any difference if you start on 28, but I AM NOT A DOCTOR, and maybe your doc has other reasons for wanting you to hold off?
GL and here's hoping your BFP comes soon.

Please forgive me here as I'm no doctor, but when I was on Clomid my day 21 blood test showed up a very low level of prog too. I'd been using opks & demanded another blood test on day 28. My levels came back higher at 10 but my doc said it wasn't high enough to definitively say I'd ovulated. However, that was my bfp month so clearly I did ovulate just a lot later on day 20. Hth :)

I went out and bought Iron pills 28 mg. I will be taking them as you said, but is it ok to take with with Clomid? Also, do I stop taking them after the 3 weeks or just wean off? I almost felt instantly good after taking one yesterday evening. It's crazy, but I felt a difference like an hour later. I weighed myself this morning it looks like I've gained weight since starting my TTC journey. I started at 116 and dropped to 106 lbs (Been on Le since June, but upped my calories to 1800-2000)...this morning I was 113.8 lbs ;( I hope this doesn't screw my sway with my first Clomid attempt.

If you didn't ovulate, then it is natural and right that your prog would be low like that. Your body really can't make progesterone without ovulation because it's the corpus luteum (hole egg comes from) that makes the progesterone. Progesterone if you have not ovulated, PREVENTS ovulation.

Take for 3 weeks daily and then switch to the 3x a week maintenance level.
I also found that I felt better instantly upon beginning iron when I was anemic, so that 's a pretty good sign that is at least partly your issue with feeling tired and run down.
Re weight, if you aren't ovulating, then you NEED the weight. i would probably try to just hold steady where you're at now and it's very likely the Clomid will make you ovulate anyway.
