I have never had acne problems, but now my skin is horrible! Is anyone else having this problem, or am I the lucky one?

I don't under stand though the hormone thing... shouldn't less testosterone and estrogen give us better skin?
Our bodies get used to a type of diet over time and it natural thinks that is normal... right now we are totally flipping the table and eating 100% different things so our bodies are reacting to the change in many ways!!!

I never saw that before.... made my morning!
I now I had high testosterone since DS2 was born... I hair has been following out for a year and look really bad. In the last few months I have lost very little and my hair looks great.

I still think even with the diet that my testosterone might be high still??? I'm considering doing Vitex? But I already have a 30-32 day cycle. It might push me out to a 45 day cycle. Geeez, I don't know. The pimples make me think that my testosterone might be an issue.
I had that same problem with the hair falling out with both of my boys. Mine starts to fall out in the first trimester then it stops and starts again after delivery and this last time it didn't stop falling out until I stopped breastfeeding.

YES!!!! I wasn't sure if it was this low-fat diet or all the exercise (sweating). They are hanging around under my face and neck... Rahhhhh!!! Can't wait to take my Krill Oil and Vitamin D again. My skin looks really good when I am taking both.
Hey jj I'm curious as to what kind of calcium you are taking without Vitamin D. I found some Calcium Citrate without Vitamin D. I just started taking this one instead of the Calcium with Vitamin D. Does Vitamin help your skin?

I feel that Vitamin D3 and Krill or Fish Oil really helped my skin. I can't wait to get back on them. I got my calcium citrate at the puritan pride website without D. I think a low-fat diet could do this to our skin too.
Again, I am doing a lot of cardio and I know that sweat can cause pimples too. I had a doctor tell me I should be washing my face before I run (to take makeup and oil off it) and after I run. All my pimples are my lower face, chin line, or upper neck too.
I have always done cardio 5-6 days a week. I've upped it to 6-7 days now. I'm thinking that I might have a combo of more sweat and maybe the diet too that are causing constant breakouts. I have pimples on my temple by my hair line and on my chin too.

Thanks for chiming in Jane!!!
Anyway, there are a lot more factors than just T levels that cause breakouts...I think it's at least in part because the simple carbs encourage bacteria growth and then the lack of fat affects our skin's ability to regulate its oil production.

and here everyone worries about the potassium in a banana..lol Avocados have almost twice the potassium...lol I hate bananas, but I loved avocados and I was eating a lot I think before #2 son but definitely with #3 son, plus the heaps of salt and vinegar I would put on them to boot.
That's funny jj because I hate bananas!!!!! and don't care for potatos in any form. But I could eat avocados EVERYDAY and with a little salt and lemon on it!!!! I made guacamole at least once a week.

I TOTALLY agree. Actually I was going to have avocadoes 2x a week in the High-Everything diet but maybe I'll make it 3!
FWIW I know Rainne from IG has an avocado tree in her yard and she has all boys too.
