So I have been eating a lot of white rice, but occasionally I eat brown, wild, or a blend of a variety of rices. I noticed yesterday though that the white rice is enriched. (the minute rice) The brown rice is not. With the enrichment added there are more nutrients listed on the label, but I thought brown rice was naturally more nutritious. I'm not sure what the nutrient levels are for those nutrients not listed. So, should I be switching to brown rice when I eat rice?

I think white rice is better less protein for sway for a girl. Try couscous too with unsalted butter and sour cream. Very fulling and veggies.

Brown rice does have more protein and def. micronutrients (the stuff that isn't listed on the lable) The real thing with brown vs. white rice has more to do with the blood sugar levels than nutrition - white rice burns off super fast and your blood sugar crashes, while brown rice is slower digested and keeps your BS levels up longer.
Honestly, it's a toss up as to which is better, brown vs. white grains is one thing where I don't feel as high a level of confidence in that it matters very much at all (and for people with PCOS tendencies, white grains may even sway blue by raising testosterone!!)
So, that was a roundabout way of saying that I really don't know yet which is better, so go with what is working for you.

Lol. I figure I probably shouldn't worry about it. The difference probably isn't great enough to make much of a difference and stressing won't help me sway pink! Lol. Thanks for the info though! I didn't realize there was a difference in protein levels. I like the idea that white burns off faster too.
