Good day all! I have a now 19 month old little boy and we have decided that September 2014 we will attempt at our 2nd and final child if my health is ok to do so. I already had severe physical problems left over from military injuries and a "normal" (Gestational, Strep B) pregnancy with no unnecessary poundage gained did additional damage to failing joints. I really wanted a girl the first time around and suffered severe gender disappointment the first time around that took a few months after birth to pull out of. We picked Sept 2014 to start trying again because I do not want to be pregnant for too long into the hot summer months when I could barely stand it in the winter, and at that time our son will just have turned 3 when his sibling will be born shortly thereafter. I would have preferred a 2 year age gap but we have to financially prepare a little better after just buying a house and slowly doing some remodeling. So I will be heavily stalking the TTC Girl activities as well as at home high tech methods and every old wives tale possible. In the last 30 years only 2 girls have been born on my husbands side of the family but I dont know how many of them made hard attempts at girls either. So we may have some genetics working against us but still fingers crossed!!
