This shouldn't be happening, today I'm on cd8 of my first and hopefully only round of Clomid 50MG CD3-7 and can't decide between smep and dtd every 4 days;(.. what scenario would you ladies go for the best pink sway ? I want to do the every 4 days but afraid to get a bfn..(we dtd on cd5) I'm taking my temp, opks will be monitoring saliva, cervical position and cm.
P.s. been on Le since June...Any inputs appreciated. TIA

If this is your first month on Clomid I would do the every 4 days. You absolutely CAN get pg with one attempt provided you are not doing 7000 other things to sway (which you aren't, right??)

Yes It's my first month. No I'm just doing 60 min power walk 6 days a week. Sticking to Le for 7 months with cheats twice a week. Aspartame in my decaf coffee or diet soda. Iron 28mg and Folic Acid that's it. I hope It's not too much.

I'm sorry Atomic I know your busy but can you please help me? I need help again I'm on my second round of Clomid and wondering if I should still try bd every 4 days or switch it to smep? Or should I bd every 3 days? I'm so nervous as my fertile period is approaching next week.
Thanks!

thanks for bumping, I sometimes start to answer and then have to close the page if some kid- related emergency occurs and then the posts may get away from me.
I think I have answered this in some other thread you posted BUT I think if you are planning on doing the full 6 month run of Clomid then it's ok to give it another month with the every 4 day method, if you are only doing 2 or 3 (which I had thought I read you might be considering) then I would go ahead with SMEP this month

Can I please sneak in an ask what SMEP is? I couldn't find it on the abbreviations list? Thank you! :)

I do not recommend that for you, Flower. the PP needed to get pregnant sooner rather than later and thus we needed to pull out the stops with her. You have more time on your side because you have not begun to do yoru Clomid run yet and so we can play with a stricter sway that first month or two. :)

Thanks Atomic! Was just curious because I'm in a similar boat (first round of clomid 50mg CD 3 -7) although I'd already opted for the once every four days I was just curious as to what other option there is for maybe my 2nd round. Without hijacking this thread, do you think I'm okay to have a number of clomid cycles? Or would you be thinking I should really try and fall next cycle?
Thank you!!

I think that unless you truly NEED Clomid in order to TTC, and/or have been on it for other kids and/or will need it to TTC other kids in future, there is no problem with the full 6 month run.
The reason that Love needs to get pg right away is due to her low weight and wanting to get pg before she gains TOO much back again, and nothing to do with her length of time on Clomid. :)
