So this stomach flu just won't go away. I went to the doctor and he is running a whole panel of blood tests on me since no one else in my family is sick but me.
I don't know if the aspartame did something to me, or what, but they are talking about hospitalizing me because of dehydration and as they said "dangerously low" blood pressure.
So now I am only allowed to drink fluids, especially gatorade, and eat bread. No veggies, no meat, nothing but breads.
Has anything like this happened to anyone else on the girl diet? I am starting to worry that there is something really wrong with me.
And if there isn't something wrong with me, is the gatorade going to totally screw up my sway. I am drinking it no matter what because my health is a priority, but just wanted to know if I am putting myself behind.

I was afraid of something bad happening so I... Got a full check up and blood work from my OB/GYN and I told him my plans. Listening to any advice and opinions on health of me, nusring son, and conceiving a healthy baby over a DG.
I know what I need to stay healthy and how to function on the low end of what I need. I had to research the min/average/max of what a nursing mom needs for a 12-18mth old bfing child. And what is needed to conceive and carry a healthy baby.
I did steps starting in Jan/Feb... first slowly pushing breakfast closer to lunch. Set times for coffee, egual soda, crystal light, and vitamins. I do snack on a peice of dry toast if I am starving in the morning. I only eat twice a day but they are planned and everything (sod, pot, pro, cals) is calculated to make sure I am not over or under what I need. Walks are planned for after eating so I don't get sick or hungry while out.
I have officially started the two meal diet a few weeks ago but it has taken months to safely lower calories and alter my normal eating lifestyle...
No one should just jump into any diet that is extremely different from they are used too. Baby steps work best for a healthier result.

Thanks for checking in on me JJ. No blood work back yet, but my stomach is feeling better. Although I really haven't started to eat full time yet.
I am starting to think I might be allergic to Strawberries in large quantities. After I get my blood work back and I know my stomach is settled I might try eating them again and see what happens.

My mum used to love strawberries and ate them by the punnetful - one year she suddenly became very allergic to them and came out in a horrendous rash and can't go near them now!

Don't worry about your sway right now, focus on getting better.
Dehydration can happen to anyone after an illness.
My concern is that the magnesium may be affecting you (giving you diarrhea which in turn is screwing up your electrolytes). I know that some people on IG had bad reactions to even rather small dosages of magnesium.
Also, if you're lactose intolerant, this can cause just horrid diarrhea which then in turn can screw up your electrolytes.
