I take Zyrtec daily, and have never had any cm to speak of (maybe that explains 2dd's??). However we used preseed when ttc #2. Anyway. I had intended to try epo & fertile cm but keep reading it delays o? I'm already taking fish oil. Last piece of the swaying puzzle, mirena is still in but scheduled for removal 1/7, so how much work should I be doing before the goalie is pulled? Thanks!!!

Have you started the HE diet?
taking Zyrtec dries up CM, I would stop taking that unless you absolutely need it. EPO delayed O for me so I switched to Fertile CM and that helped me. I would take plain mucinex 5 days leading up to O and also use preseed and that should give you some good CM. In regards to the EPO and fertile cm I guess its trial and error you have to see what works best for you. If you're drinking plenty of water, that should increase your CM as well. Some ladies swear by pineapple juice, but I found that just drinking water and green tea helped me.

Absolutely cannot stop Zyrtec and live to tell about it. Lol. God bless the allergy sufferers. And yes, have started the diet and some supplements.

I think the Mirena is to blame. Every type of hormonal birth control dries me up so much and naturally I have loads of CM. Maybe try a copper IUD in the future, if you plan to have more kids? Or else don't worry about your CM until you have the Mirena removed?
Btw, I also have allergies and take multiple anthistamines (chlorpheniramine, Quercetin, and a German herbal blend) and Sudafed daily, and I still have CM, even EWCM. I've been on taking them for years though, so maybe my body has adapted. In any case, it's possible to be on allergy meds and still have plenty of CM.

yes very probably so!
epo and fertile CM CAN delay O but they don't for everyone. I think epo is better provided that you are being sure to take more fish oil than you are of epo.
I would wait to try and increase cm until after hte Mirena is out, the mirena can also make a lot less CM by affecting your hormones.
the best ways to increase cm without fudging your cycle up are grapefruit juice, lemon water, and Robi/Muci (guanefesin). Green tea can also help but does occasionally make cycles kookoo - but NOTHING like Fertile CM does!!!

Currently taking 1200 mg of fish oil per day and drinking lemon water & green tea every day, will add in EPO & guaf post-mirena. Since I'm not ovulating now I guess I won't know it epo makes O late!!
I've been on Zyrtec for 10+ yrs, and always "been dry" dry eyes, MUST use lube during sex, etc. was on bc pills before my dd's, but used reg lube or preseed while ttc with them.

Sorry, question :) the epo I have in my amazon cart is 1300 mg, do I double up my fish oil or find a different dosage of one or the other?

Aaa sorry just now seeing this, hope you didn't buy it yet.
Get lower dose of EPO. Super high doses of essential fatty acids can actually lower cholesterol which may lower testosterone/estrogen, and also are not going to be safe for the average gal on the streets (may cause bleeding/bruising which in extremely rare circumstances could be fatal)
My recommendation in the sway plans is 500 mg EPO, 1000 fish oil OR 500-500

I just got my BFP two weeks ago (on cycle 4) and I feel what really made the difference that cycle was drinking large mugs of good quality green tea twice a day. Though, it could just be hydrating well in general but I'm really convinced it helps.
The first 3 months of TTC my CM was relatively scant...Looking back I figure it was due to it being winter and I wasn't keeping myself as hydrated as I should. But the cycle that I started drinking green tea routinely...holy crap! By the time my fertile window came around, it was like I had a St. Bernard slobbering between my legs (sorry for the tmi visual...).
