Does it look like I really Ov? I really thought I was not going to Ov..If so I really hope we caught the egg...we bd on cd9 late at night and it appears I Ov on cd11. Strangest thing I never got a positive opk...my temps look a little off due to waking up a tad bit earlier. Can anyone give me inputs? TIA

I would say yes but possibly on cd14. Why the open circles for cd 11 &12? It's so hard to decide when we go and dry up our cm! LOL

temping is unreliable on Clomid so I cannot tell you with any level of confidence at all whether or not you Oed.

Thanks for the input..they are open because I took temp a bit earlier than the usual (having to go pee)...so if they stay up for the next couple of days does it mean I indeed Ov...or just don't trust it at all and keep using opks?

don't trust it at all and keep using OPK. Because Clomid blocks estrogen, it can fudge with your temps. Many doctors tell people not to even bother doing temping while on Clomid.

Ok and I sure will keep using opks:)

I'm so freaking confused here's today's temp (still high) I know atomic said not to trust temps but will they stay up like this after Ov on Clomid?

Also here's a picture of my opk's the only one that I got that was close to being a positive was on cd13 (the 6th opk from top to bottom) the rest were totally faint or blank (btw these opks are IC's not sure how reliable they are as they were my 1st time using them)
Thanks for any inputs :)

It's possible you ovulated with a short surg on cd13. I guess keep testing?

They can, but you just can't rely on it and need to be prepared in case O hasn't happened yet. I'm not saying you didn't ovulate, it's jsut that I can't say with any confidence whether you have or not.

IMO but while CD 13 is darker, I would not call that close to positive really. It's possible you Oed that day but again, it's just that we can't say with any level of confidence about what has occured.

There's nothing bad or wrong about a short surge, it just goes that way sometimes.

Thank you, I forgot to use an opk yesterday :(...at this point I don't even know if I should continue using them, because my temps are still up. :) Tomorrow I go in for my 21 day progesterone check let's he what my OB-gyn has to say.

my advice is to switch over to some form of regular intercourse, be it SMEP or the DTD every 4 days with additional attempt at pos OPK.

Thanks Atomic we were bd every 4 days. Do we switch it this cycle or you meanb the next (incase I get a BFN)?

Looking at your chart I would say day 13 looks more like ovulation to me, but who can tell on Clomid? One piece of advice, continue to test with OPK's, you cannot be sure as it can mess you up drastically. When I had Clomid I thought I had O'ed on day 18, but real O didn't come until day 36 (and still unsure that was the right day), feel free to have a look at my chart, it's not the pregnant one on top, but second one on the page.

Thanks aidansmum...I sure do remember your post and how late Ov came. You took Clomid for swaying only right? I'm giving myself 2 months on it and probably will take a break with swaying maybe that will get my to Ov again;/

Yes, it was just for swaying but after a 49 day cycle I decided not to do it again, for my own sanity. I didn't even know when to test for pregnancy, I used a whole 50 pack of strips and had no idea what was going on with my body. Maybe I will pay for dropping it and am probably nesting another boy but I couldn't go ahead with it, I was scared it would stop me ovulating altogether as I've always been regular and that long cycle scared the hell out of me. As you can see in my chart I fell pregnant the following cycle, so hopefully Clomid was still active in my system. Time will tell, but I do have this feeling I'm having another boy anyway, so I am keeping my expectations low.

I'm sorry it does play tricks with the body and that's why u don't want more than 2 rounds;(.. did you stick to one attempt at positive opk? I'm sure you will get a girl, think positive! ;)

I think that is fine the first couple months on Clomid, I wasn't sure if you were trying to do frequency/sticking to just one attempt like some people do (sorry it's just impossible for me to keep up with everyone)

Thanks :) I try to think positive thoughts, but I know my love will be no different if it's a boy, I would just love to hear pink for once in my life.
We had 1 attempt at positive OPK on day 12 (I Oed on day 13) and another one the morning of day 14, but my temp had already spiked, so I'm sure it was the one on day 12 that did it.
Wish you lots of luck with Clomid and hope it's a bit more gentle on you.

I just wanted to update...so my temps have seem to drop, but today I have had some spotting and feeling bloated I'm on cd21 and hoping It's not af. Well I haven't had af on my own unless It's with Provera. I'm due to take provera sometime around cd35. My 21 day progesterone results cone back Friday and if they don't look good it will be provera with Clomid round 2. ;( but sure have been feeling bloated today a little crampy and have spotted 3 times while wiping (after peeing) lol

Woke up 50 min early too pee and took temp and has drastically dropped;( well maybe because I took it at the wrong time. Went to the restroom and had a little bit of brown discharge and yesterday was pinkish don't even know what's going on now;( this is a bit frustrating.
On the positive side I had a dream that I got a bfp and it seemed so real until I woke up and reality kicked me in the butt lol

Oh dear....sorry to hear this cycle is giving you hell, it's the Clomid, believe me, by the way, I forgot to mention but if you look at my chart I spotted on day 33+34 of my cycle for no apparent reason, so I thought I was getting AF, BUT I only ovulated on day 36 or 37! Goes to show what the Clomid does to you, so don't lose hope, there is a slight chance you might not have ovulated yet. It fooled me after months of temping and I would hate for you to miss that egg. Are you still using OPKs? What do they say?

Also, how long is your LP? That's something to watch for, if your LP is about 11/12 days, then there is a strong chance you ovulated on day 11 as FF suggests and the spotting you are experiencing is indeed AF. Even though Clomid messed my cycle I still had a 13 day LP, which is my usual, I've heard it messes the cycle, but not the LP, so once you know roughly when you ovulated you can also tell when your AF should come, in case Clomid leaves you hanging there having no idea when to expect AF. Hope this makes sense.

Well when I was a "normal cycle girl" my lp was 14 days since losing ov I have no clue. I have been using them here and there since temps went up I'm almost out I have like 5 left this evenings opk was negative. Can't wait to hear my progesterone results tomorrow to see if I indeed Ov.

I literally just want to cry I woke up to full blown AF ;( so this means I had a 21-22 day cycle. Why I'm I going through this? Never in my life have I had trouble conceiving let alone losing Ov and having a 8-9 day lp ;( I don't even know what to do anymore. Should I give Clomid another try? Just drop swaying? Take a break? Dh just wants me to drop everything and live a "normal" life. He said he's so tired of me doing this to myself and him ;( he just wants his old wife back.
I will be calling my ob to see how terrible my progesterone levels are? I guess I won't need Provera anymore. I literally just want to drop EVERYTHING even my cardio. Ugh! I'm so depressed. Sorry for being such a Debbie...I just wanted to update. ;(

I think you should give the Clomid at least one more month with eating more fat.
You do not need to drop everything - people have the mistaken impression that if they can't do everything, they may as well do nothing, but that isn't the case. Start off droping the things that are most disruptive to your life (even if htat includes cardio) and then lose everything that really interferes with conception.

I'm so sorry AF showed her ugly face. :( But try not to despair, give it another try next cycle, it might just be the one. My DH was also getting a bit sick of me doing all that, and talking about it all the time so I did us both a favour, I continued to do what I had to do (no cardio or harsh diet though) and just stopped telling him what I was up to, the only thing he knew was to climb in bed when the time came, that way I gave him a break and kept punishing myself only with the swaying thing. I wouldn't just drop it all, as atomic says, maybe cardio or ease off on the diet a bit as all that stress is not good for a pink sway as we well know. I really feel your pain but don't give up. I'll be keeping an eye on this thread and am keeping my fingers crossed for your BFP on your next cycle. :hug2:

Thank you so sweet of you aidansmum!
Yes, I'm dropping 1-2 days of cardio so it will be 4-5 days instead of 6 days. I'm going to ease up on the diet (actually already have). I'm taking every single advice I have started eating eggs (something I hadn't done in a loooong time) also included beans. I'm dropping the eating rice and vegetables every single day. I'm also going to start including full fat milk and yogurt. I'm on CD2 and feeling positive.
My Ob-gyn called me yesterday and told me that my Progesterone was now at a 4.8 (last month was less than .5) so I didn't Ov, but he upped my CLomid to 100mg. I start Clomid tomorrow Cd3-7 and praying and staying positive that this is it!
I'm going to ease up on things as much as I can so I can make this dream happen! I'm excited and can't wait to see what this end of the month brings me (praying for a bfp)!

I'm sorry you went through that, but I want to thank you too. I would certainly have freaked out if that happened to me. Next cycle will be a clomid cycle and if this happens to me, I think I will be more aware, prepared and calm about it. I am now going to PLAN for it to happen actually and hope it doesn't. :) So, extra OPKs, extra repHresh, etc.
