Hi
I was strict le in sept oct and didnt get pg in oct. We then devided to stop ttc until feb. I have stuffed my face abd gained weight over xmas but am hitting le strictly with 6 weeks to attempt. I will be exercisibg 6/7 days a week too. Questions:
Shall I do it feb or not? Is 6 weeks enough? I ask as originally we'd put it on hold until may time but instead we said we'd try tgen then if not pg stop until may. So we could easily not do it BUT no way id keep up exercise from now till then. Ill obv loose weight fast thiugh as ive gained over xmas
Next suppliments. If we do ttc feb when should i start my suppliments? I took vitex af to o this month but my cervical mucas increased a million % so nervous about that!!

Hi MrsM,
Not sure I can answer your questions, but wanted to let you know I'm in the same boat. I'll be on LE for about 6 weeks when we start TTC beginning of Feb. I'm hoping to lose about 10-15 lbs by then. I'm not too worried about the length of time before first attempt because I think it'll take us longer than that to conceive since we're a bit older now. It'd be great to get a pink BFP on the first try though :) Good luck to you!

I believe 6 weeks is enough time for diet and exercise.
Re vitex, if you feel like it's swaying blue for you, feel free to leave it out. REsults have been pretty mixed with the supps and certainly no magic bullet in any way. That having been said we can't read TOO much into CM because we can't tell with the naked eye (or really in any way) if CM is pink or blue friendly. WE've had people get girls with lots of CM and boys with none (I got my 4th boy with no CM at all and my girl with some CM)

Thank you!
I am going to take it again in Jan and see how my cycle goes as im taking it to lengthen my lp more than sway pink. There's no point me ttc with a crappy 6-9 day lp as id never get pg anyway!
When should i start my other supps? The cycle before ttc?
I just have it in my head to take antihystamines/sudofed etc.. To stop cm so with having so much I was confused but it really depends on my lp xxxxx

What other supps were you planning to take??
Don't take sudafed, it's not safe - stick to antihistamine

Antihistamines, vitex, baby asprin. I have saw palmetto and cranberry but think I may not take them?
Shall I start at af of the cycle we plan to ttc?
Also hubby is willing to take LR but it hurts his teeth?!? x

thanks for bump, I had read this but then had to dash for the day.
Yes please please take the fiber. I am not sold on soy and I think it's created quite a bit of trouble for people nd I am not convinced that those stats are really indicating how it sways - all the people who took it had been dieting very strictly for some time and they only resorted to soy to help them ovulate, so it is unclear to me if the soy is really that strong a sway or if it's a byproduct of those doing an overall strict sway. You also should drop vitex and skip SP when taking soy
Don't take cran and aspirin together. You can give DH cranberry unless he's already taking OLE
I think fiber, folic, aspirin (starting at low dose and working up) and vitex are safe to be taken prior to 6 weeks before attempt. SP, cranberry should be started 6 weeks before attempt. Antihistamine and soy should only be started the month of attempt (and both only taken for about 5 days that month, see individual essays for directions ont hat)

SP = Saw Palmento (sp).
As for the fiber, I believe its with any meal heavy with fats and how much the bottle says.
