Now I'm aware that everything needs to be on the low side of healthy and that around 20-30% of your calories should be from fat. And atomic has stated this should equate to about 40-60 grams per day. Now when reading food labels am I looking at total fat sat fat unsat fat or calories from fat? If been looking at calories from fat and keeping that under 60. Is this correct? If found it is very difficult and seems like I'm doing it wrong. Can someone steer me in the correct direction pease?

I would think that you need to look at total fat, but I'm new to this and can't tell 100%..

total grams of fat. I want people to eat between 1500-1800 cals a day, and we did the math and that averages out to be about 25-60 g of fat (I don't want anyone to drop below 25 g of fat ever.)

getting 60 calories of fat is virtually impossible and NOT what I am talkign about. There are 9 calories per gram of fat and that = 225 to 540 cals from fat.

If you CAN (and I do not want anyone thinking much about this or worrying about it and y'all are absolutely forbidden to ever sit around adding it up LOL) if you can possibly get a higher % of your day's fat from Omega 6 and transfats, and a lower % of your day's fat from Omega 3, healthy, and saturated fat, it may help your pink sway. essay here http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gender-swaying-general-discussion/39013-skinny-fats-pink-blue.html

Thank you. I'm hoping you are right as I'm very limited at the moment. Hopefully someone will let us know for sure :)

Thank you so much atomic. That clears it up and I'm so happy I asked since I was sitting there thinking there's just no way this could be right lol. I feel a little silly but oh well lol. Thank you again

there are no silly questions, just things that I have not explained well enough. :)
