I am a working mom :) I was a SAHM for the first 3 years with my oldest and about 20 months with my middle. I went back to work after 5 weeks with my youngest and I will be bringing this baby to work with me for a while.

Pretty much like Roonie - I'm working mom ( and I don't like it, too hectic for my taste lol!)
I was SAHM for the first 2 years with my DD#1 and then I had to find a job because DH's salary wasn't enough to support the family. Even with my salary we are hardly making the ends meet :worry:

I'm a SAHM but I also take on about 3-4 clients a year for doula-ing:) My hubby can take random days off if I need him to come home(so I can attend a birth) and work on the weekends, which is great. I plan on doing my doula work more in a couple of years when my last baby is about 2yo. I became a SAHM before my first was born. My job was too demanding for a pregnant woman- I was a camera op at a tv station.

I am a SAHM for the most part with our 2 year old DD. We own a business and run it from the house which I do most of that from home. I am also a makeup artist that I do mostly on the weekends when DH is home. I will go into my salon when DH gets home from work but sometimes people will come to my house as well. Before having DD I worked in my salon more and on the runway and in fashion shoots so I still have a pretty good rep. But my main priority is DD. I am not away from her hardly ever. I gave up my career to to be a mama! This is what I want!
So our days are spent hanging out by the pool, playing outside in the sandbox. Doing art projects. Reading, coloring, baking, Going to her cousins house and playing over there. Going to the park around the corner. Sometimes we will snuggle on the couch and watch a movie! my fav, break time!! Anything to stay active! We have a lot of fun me and my girl!

I'm a STHM, well aunt. I have custody of my niece and 2 nephews so I need to be at home for them. The boys have special needs so my job is here. I used to work in a supermarket but went on leave to take care of my mum who had breast cancer. Once she was over that I went back to work but not long after she was diagnosed with Dementia and Alzheimer's so I went on leave again. As my mothers condition got worse she was unable to keep the grand kids and they wanted to live with me so here they are :)

My DH makes pretty good money but it's so expensive in the bay area and we are pretty cash poor. really sad. I've been both a working mom and a sahm throughout my life and a going to school mom. My DH was a sahd for a while in there too. Great babysitter, crappy housekeeper. :) Hmmmm, I guess i can't say much as i look around at the mess.

I'm like this too. But I really love being a nurse and it fits in well with DH's hours so I am fortunate enough to be able to do both.

I work as a nurse in a Critical Care department on a part time basis. I work weekends and nights. But my full-time job is my kids and I am lucky enough to spend 90% of my time with them in the week. I went back to work 6 months after having DS1 and DS2, but 11 months after DS3 when maternity pay was improved in the UK.
I love the fact that I can take and fetch my children from school most days and am able to watch school play, sports days etc. DH has a good job, allowing me to work part-time. I have considered being a 100% SAHM, but that would mean losing my career, so I think now I have the best of both worlds!!

I'm SAHM with two girls, I just love being at home, watching my kids grow, the late mornings, late nights, cooking, snacking, tv, internet, shopping, I don't miss work ONNEEE bit! I'm making the most of it while I can before I complete my family and have to go back eventually. I hate early mornings and I pity my husband when he struggles to wake up to go to work but I love taking up the whole bed when he leaves hehehehe! I'd love to find something part time, but still waiting for my youngest (18 months) to grow some more before I introduce her into part time nursery. She's very much mummys girl  and loves to be loved so she needs more time. My eldest who is 34 months is a giggly smiley bundle of happiness to loves going part time nursery and playing with her friends. :biggirl:

I love reading about everyone else! I am a SAHM as well. I started staying home when DD#1 was born 7 years ago (my how time flies!). I was always very driven, career-oriented and came from a 2 working parent home. I never even dreamed of staying at home, it was not even an option in my mind. But there I was pregnant, with a very successful career, making more money than DH and knowing that there was no way I could go back to work after DD was born. My parents and everyone around me though I was nuts for leaving my career... but by now they've come around :) So I've been at home ever since and DH's career has taken off so I don't have to worry about going back any time soon (thank you God!).
