I just can't help myself!!! I am having the exact same pregnancy I had with my son thus I can't help becoming convinced it's a boy. (I swayed for a second boy!) Atomic has been very clear with me that symptoms & how a pregnancy goes have nothing to do with gender. I can't get it thru my thick skull! Maybe if some of you told me your stories about having similar pregnancies with opposite genders I would stop setting myself up for disappointment! Has anyone else convinced themselves of some gut feeling like this. I'm convinced in my gut that this is my boy but afraid I am setting myself up for a big fall…. Any thoughts to stop this behavior?!:worry:

Aside from mentioning that there are biological reasons why symptoms do not indicate anything about gender at early stages of pg, I will butt out of this because you're probably sick of hearing me talk about it LOL.

My 2nd boy and 1st girl were very similar in symptoms.

I had 2 boys and was pregnant with my third child (a girl) and the symptoms were VERY similar. I had morning sickness, I carried her all in the front I even dreamed that she was a he and then we found out she was a she! I was shocked and of course excited but I thought for sure she was another boy bc the symptoms were super similar to my boys!

Try not to stress on it to much. I know it's hard bc I did the same thing but really it has nothing to do with gender! I now believe that 100% after this pregnancy!

Well i've now come to the conclusion that since the symptoms are the same it's probably an opposite! Whatever will be will be!

I've never had an opposite, but all 3 boys have been different...and this one seems like my DS1 - only symptom is extreme fatigue. DS3 was worst nausea EVER! I never vomited, but had all day sickness. DH is still not allowed to wear a cologne of his that he wore during that time b/c it brings it all back for me!!

This time, I have zero nausea (so far) and don't even feel preggo except for the extreme fatigue that hits me around 9 PM every night and feels much like DS1. I did have very rapid heartbeat/what felt like low iron at first (that led me to take a pg test) but started taking vitamins and immediately feel better.

I think every pg is just different for whatever reason!
