Hi, Ladies - Good to see some of our January 2ww'ers. Hoping this is the month for us and that I will get my birthday present in early-November.
CD4 for me, Mamer, so you and I will be checking around the same time. I'm with you Yogi...no symptom spotting for me this time around. I had every symptom in the book last time and it was harder to accept that I didn't get a BFP. I will continue to be patient as well. I fell off of my HE diet so I'm trying to up my calories and continue to be healthy. What will be will be...
Jillibean, hoping and praying this is it for you!!! I definitely see a faint line!
GL to you all!

Just wanted to say thank u to all the girls on here for your support.my temp dropped again today to 98.03 & I'm having some brown spotting.I'm so sad & disappointed.after 3 slight positive tests I just cant believe I'm not pg.I think I'm getting pg but its just not sticking for some reason.I don't know what to do.dh stopped taking the fertilaid so I have to get him back on it-ive been terrible with my diet & every month when I get close to taking a test he tells me how he wants to "get ahead" and that another baby is a bad idea.:sad:

Thx sweet.we might not even be able to try this month because dh is traveling the 19th to the 21st.right around ovulation time.so I either keep taking the progesterone to try & hold back AF or stop taking it & double up on the EPO and hope it helps me ovulate before the 19th.ugh.any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Can't you try just before he goes on his trip. And see if it's enough. I think that preference using progesteron to delay.

Leebug,
Don't get your hopes up and I suggest you stop temping until you get your solid bfp. You should check on the 2ww website and see the successful stories where their temps threw them off. Im still hopeful for you and I know you are getting your bfp, you just need a little more time to let the little one simmer and produce some more hcg. Please keep us updated :).

Am i counting from friday or from thursday?
DPO 9/10.
The waiting.. I keep on telling myself all i'm feeling is a reaction of stopping birth control, ( awaiting first AF after stopping) but it cán be the other thing ; )
Driving myself crazy here!
Feeling some aches in lower belly, breasts hurt on and off, coffee doesn't taste the same. ( but im having the flu, may explain that)
Will wait and see..

Hi Girls,
I am CD12 today & Not doing too great with the HE diet. I am a bit bummed that this cycle will be last try for a while. My DH is a diabetic type 2 with many health issues going on and plus I already know that his diabetes will play a big role with our ttc attempts because it lowers sperm count with a possibility of becoming sterile. I have also read that conceiving during his diabetes can lead to an obese child with a high possibility of many health issues to come. My DH is a monkey see, monkey do kinda guy so in order for him to get better I need to stop this HE diet and get back on the healthy track. My DH is still hopeful that we will conceive but I am more wanting this month to be over because I feel that with me not dieting is making it worse on his diabetes. He feels that he can cheat with me until I get pregnant and then he can start eating health. For this cycle because my brain is exhausted with temping and all of the above, I have also decided that as soon as I confirm ovulation and opk, I will stop temping, opk's and cm checking until the suspected AF day, well probably waiting a little more after AF is supposed to arrive. Needless to say, this is only for the better. I would also like to re-congratulate all of the mommy's to be out there, and wishing the rest of you beautiful girls out there ttc TONS of Baby Dust & soon to be BFP's!!!

I miscalculated and i'm on dpo 10 now..
Yesterday and the day before i had a lot of cramps ( abdomen), boobaches and a soar back. Today its all gone! Just a hint of the soar boobs is left!
Well, im probably out but AF is estimated next friday.
Ill update before that..
Yogi&Booboo, how are your symptoms?
Thanks for sharing your story : )
I hope your AF won't show ; )

February 8th, 2014, 04:34 PM
When will you try a test?
My AF is saterday! were one day apart. I have these weird things and thinking I'm making myself crazy.. (although I was keeping them in check to know I wasn't pg before... and they were always accurate...)
Dragonmother
February 9th, 2014, 04:19 PM
I'm confused!
Today ligament-pulling-sensationd and a lot going on in lower abdomen.
Boobs hurt from time to time.
It's starting to freak me out! Is this it?
Is it because i stopped taking bcp-symptoms? They are pretty much identical to early-pregnancy ones!
Aargh : S.
Im also confused; im on dpo 11 now, so my AF will be 14 right? That's wednesday..
But counting the overall cycle ( thinking its 28), it should be next friday.
I feel as if i really should be knowing this  lol
I hope i can wait until next weekend with the testing..
When do you plan to?
sweetdream
February 9th, 2014, 04:59 PM
Woman's body is a strange thing.
I know about feeling tons of things. could be from getting off bcp. Could be prepping for AF. (feeling boobs is pretty normal either way)
You could start testing actually.. already.
It can be that your AF won't start until friday that your LF is a bit longer.
But it can also be that your AF is now wednesday and your cycle is a bit shorter.
I need to test early. I can try the first time wednesday and I will do this. then every 2 days. I think. I have medications and as soon as I know I'm PG I need to up the dose..

Congrats on the BFPs ladies!!! And FX for those still waiting! So exciting. :)
Can I join in? :)
Long story short: we weren't exactly trying but we weren't preventing either. Last baby is only 14 months old, only had 3 cycles back, first was 50 days, second was 27 (normal for me) and now here I am on CD30 but possibly CD31/32. Can't tell if I O'd or not.
I have had 2 SUPER light but definitely there lines on tests taken later in the day but only BFN in the morning....weird, I know. And with 2 of my babies I have not had a bfp until much later than 1st day of missed period.
Soooooo, I am in the 2ww. I took a test this AM = bfn and plan to wait until Friday (Valentine's Day) to test again...once in the AM and again in the PM.
Again, we weren't planning on this so soon (if at all) but we would be thrilled to have another baby!
Can't wait to see what's in store for all of you!!!!!! Baby dust for everyone!

Welcome fivebabies! I guess you at least were having sóme HCG in your blood, or the test will not respond.. Maybe a more sensitive test will do?
Goodluck!
sweeatdream, wow! All these clear symptoms!
what dpo are you today? May be nerves for some part.. When can you test?
I tested yesterday, on dpo 14. No blood, pink, or brown whatsoever. Still aches in boobs and ligament pains. Also a tiny bit of uterus- cramps like the af- ones.
Tested: couldn't be more negative... Bummer..
There is a smáll chance of the HCG being undetectable yet, and may will be later.. But i feel it's end of game for this month. First month after stopping bcp, my body should still adjust. But im very happy i already have had an ovulation at cd13.

Hi girls,
Im back again. Still trying to push my self not to do any symptom and cm checking. Today I am CD 18. I think I am 2 DPO but according to my cheap opks i got my first + opk on saturday at around 8:30pm ish and my peak day on my cbfm monitor on sunday which meand I should be 3 DPO. I usually have the sudden change of cm on my second peak day which confirms my ovulation but weird thing that my bbt did not rise until wednesday 2/12. I am below 97.50 before ovulation and over that post ovulation. Freaked out because today my bbt dropped after my temp rise confirming ovulation. I hope this 2 ww flies by more than anything so I can move on :(

I'm on CD32 (4 days late) and not a stitch of pink on my most recent test. :( Not sure what's going on.
I'm not going to get DH to ttc conceive if I'm not pregnant now. He wants to get snipped. :(
Pregnancy #3 I didn't get a BFP until I was 10 days late. So I'm really hoping that this is the case again.

fivebabies,
I hope you get your bfp. I actually made the decision to stop. My dh is getting sicker by the day with his diabetes. I love him too much to loose him and is more important than ttc. I have planned to put him back in shape regardless of the outcome for sure. But id like to get on weight loss diet my self if no bfp. I've gained some weight and i need to stop gaining before my pant buttons start flying all over the place. Good luck! I think you still have a big chance to get your bfp :)

We're on CD16 today, but I'm not exactly sure when to start the DPO calc. I used the Ovuwatch this month to track my ovulation, and it says yesterday and today were my ovulation days, but I never did get a truly positive opk. The past 2 months I got an obviously positive opk on CD15, but this time the lines were never darker than the control line. I'm not sure if I just missed it or if I've been too hydrated on the blue sway, lol. Either way, I'm hoping I did ovulate like the watch is telling me and that it was just user error on the opks :-)
We missed our attempt on Tuesday as we were both just too exhausted, but did attempt last night and this morning, so hoping that timing works! Might attempt tonight or tomorrow as well, just in case, lol.
On a less happy front, I just got a call from my brother. He and his wife just miscarried :-( They were 9 weeks along, and it was their first. I know they are so bummed, and I wish there was more I could do for them! As much as I'm hoping we get pregnant this round, I will feel pretty lousy announcing a pregnancy right after that. Their doctor wants them to wait another month before trying again. They got pregnant in just 2 attempts last time, so hopefully it will happen quickly for them again! Fingers crossed!!

Welcome, crazycatcouple...sorry to hear about your brother and his wife. I'm sure they will be happy for you when you get your...you can also wait a little while to announce yours.
Yogi, I'm sorry to hear about your DH. Hopefully, this is your month, esp so that you guys can concentrate on his health and put the ttc stress behind you.
Dragonmother, I'm glad you are so optimistic about next month! I went off bcp in October and was excited when things went back to normal and I started ovulating.
GL to you fivebabies and sweetdream!!! The 2ww can be so draining...try to stay busy ladies. I've been doing good so far this month. It can be hard not to obsess or symptom watch but I've had ALL the symptoms the past 4 cycles so now I'm trying not to think twice about anything. I am checking my temps so that's helpful. I wish I wouldve done that my last 4 cycles...trying not to get obsessive though. I'm on 6dpo. One more week to go.

February 14th, 2014, 04:47 PM
From what I understand you can. If your temps stay up, usually that means a BFP is on the way. I started temping last month and I never saw an IB dip and my temps started going down a day before AF appeared.

Sweetdream, I totally understand that feeling of waiting for AF (even a day late can feel interminable!) and still getting bfns. I hope this is your month! I am back in the 2ww for likely the last time. I've done everything I could (exercise, LE diet, clomid) but really am limited by whether my DH has viable swimmers. He's taken vitamins for eight months and clomid for three to boost T levels, so we will just have to see. It is my own fault for not being more assertive about what I wanted when he had a vasectomy done--the reversal just might have not worked. I've said to myself that if it doesn't happen this month, it is just not meant to be, but I hope I can convince my heart of that if I get a bfn. Also, I've spent also most two years now, planning and preparing for this (with a whole lot of disappointment mixed in!) and I don't know how to put it behind me if it doesn't work. So, fingers crossed, and two weeks-1 day to wait!

Sweatdream,goodluck!
These symptoms, the waiting.. It can be tough.
Try to focus on other things( hard, i know) ; )
I think it's best not to count on being pregnant at all. Even when my symptoms really go overboard and freak me out like this time!
I'm planning on ignoring even obvious signs like being sick or gaining a cupsize.
But we all know it's nearly impossible to ignore signs of your body when you want to get pregnant : )
You can't ' forget' you're trying for a baby!
Itester, fx for you!! You cán be pregnant this time!
Planning ny days with lots of activities helps me not obsessing too much.
Still a chance for you ladies!
I'm already waiting for my O-day.
By the way, all of the cramps and aches i had before AF are still here during AF.
Is rhis normal? I never had mentionable aches when having my period.
I guess stopping bcp kicks in here.
Best of luck for you!:fingers:

Trying to keep myself busy with the closing of our house but its definitely hard ( I hear you Dragonmother) I hate symptom spotting but you can't help feeling like maybe it's my baby in there!

Dragonmother - it could definitely be coming off birth control. I know that when I got my IUD taken out, all my monthly symptoms went crazy - I had cramps before and definitely more during AF, my boobs were sore, I was moody, etc. I think it takes a little time for our bodies to get back into the swing of things :-)

Hi MiKA1104!
How is it coming along for you. I am DPO 8 today, not as nervous as last month and I am trying to ignore any and all symptoms. The only thing I am doing is testing out the cheapy OPK's for a dark positive should I get my BFP even if I dont get my BFP. But if I do I would like to share what it looks like because I know there is not enough comparisons out there and I am sure there a lot of curious women out there like my self. Any who, I hope all is well and you are hanging in there. I did continue to chart my BBT. Still have not seen anything there yet :) Hope to hear from you soon!

Happy to hear from you Yogi! I said I wasn't going to this time around but I'm kinda stressing. I really did want this month to work. I'm halfway through the 2ww. According to FF, I'm 10DPO (which they based off of my BBT) so we will see. I'm not having ANY symptoms, just the regular PMS week stuff. I've had the usually mid-cycle dip in my chart but no IB. I've had IB in all my other pregnancies so I guess I'm looking for that to confirm. I'll be busy the next 3 days which will help me not obsess with stuff. This is my 5th cycle off of bcp and I've been getting regular cycles the whole time. I just have to be patient I guess...
I'm really pulling for you, Yogi! And yeah the best thing to do is to just ignore any symptoms for now :-)

I know Atomic told me it can go both ways; mess your cycle up or restore it.
Since my first cycle after stopping bcp was perfect,i guess i shouldn't be disturbing my cycle?
I dont want to mess with anything good..

Hi ladies!
I would like to join in again, I think I am about 4 DPO. This was my first round of clomid, we will see how everything goes. I have been super strict with the LE diet, this is my 4th month with hardly any cheats, but ate shrimp 8 days before O and mahi 3 DPO. Really hoping this did not hurt me, I still was in limits for the day. Here goes another long 2ww!

@dragonmother. I use Vitex no probs. used SP for a little while and it made my cycle a bit longer (O came a couple days later) I stopped SP cause I use Mint tea as well. and can't do both. I chose Mint tea in stead of SP.
felt the better choice.

Fingers crossed for you, Jewelle - hoping it's implantation bleeding for you! All pregnancies are different, so even though you haven't experienced it yet doesn't mean it's out of the questions. It seems super early for AF.
I am in a similar boat... had some very minor spotting today and I'm having some minor cramping as well. I'm really hoping it's implantation bleeding, although I also have yet to experience it. I think we are 6 or 7 DPO, and they say implantation bleeding usually occurs from 6 to 12 DPO, so it's definitely possible!

Hey, Yogi, can't wait to get an update from you. I am pretty much out, just waiting on af. My temp went dramatically down this morning and at 12dpo I haven't had any symptoms. I am trying not to get depressed. It's been 5 cycles since bcp. My dh is so supportive and so patient. He made me feel a lot better about it this morning. Im here again beautiful ladies,
But not doing too well. Of all months, why this one????!!!! So I have been this past week I started to notice a lot of tooth sensitivity which came with pain of course which lead to a dentist visit. The Dentist said I need two root canals (ggrrrrr :omg:) I did mention to her that I have been having unprotected sex with the intention of conceiving (Today Friday 2/21/2014 im either 9-10 DPO) and she pretty much brushed it off saying it was ok and scheduled me for the dental procedures for this Saturday 2/22/14. I took a FRER today because I need to be sure I am not preggo before I have the whole nine yards done tomorrow because from my previous pregnancies; Kaiser is very strict on Dental Work and Id rather be safe than sorry. So I emailed my Doc who is on vacation of course but one of the on call nurses who was a sweetest and helpful as can be told me to wait. She did advise me to go in the ob/gyn walk in to take a urine test. I did tell her I am not due for af and it will most like still show negative because I just took a FRER. She said that its best I reschedule my dental appointment at least until my missed period and then they can order a blood hcg test. Ughhh the torture of waiting to know if i got my BFP and needing dental work soo badly. I definitely got a combo fried rice today like I tell my friends when it all just starts going down the drain. I took an OPK this morning as well and that was super dark & positive, but im not relying on that. I also took two cheapy hpt's from early pregnancy tests.com and those were also negative. I think i am going to go through hell this weekend with this damn tooth pain. Sorry TMI but I needed to vent. So far since Wednesday I began with light cramping which I keep saying to my self its AF + I have had a lot of dry mouth that's unbelievable. My Mouth feels like I have ran three miles without drinking water and lots of breast tenderness which of course could be af. This cramping tingling fluttering feeling is making me loose my patience and I know its not all in my head because it will definitely stop me from what im doing ggggr. I want to cry ladies.
I vented and thanks for listening :bighug::broken:

I am in the 2ww and I am 8 dpo and the cramps are intense. What the heck? I do start to get crampy about a week before AF, usually so I am just crediting those cramps to an impending AF but holy smokes! Oh wow Yogi! That is awful!!! I am so sorry you have to go through that! But to stay on the bright side - it sounds like you're having some pretty serious signs that you could be pregnant this round, so that's exciting :-) The positive OPK is not a definite, but it is a good sign. Maybe try using Oragel or some other numbing agent for your teeth for the time being. Hopefully going through all this pain will be 100% worth it when you get that BFP!!

Hi girls,
Thank you for all of your positive thoughts and wishes. So far took another FRER this morning and got a bfn. Just waiting for af to come. I stopped temping because it was making me nervous. I think what we see here is a false positive:(. Two out of this batch i bought gave me a faint line :(.ill keep you all posted. Ill test again on friday if no af.

I've always heard that false positives are practically unheard of. There can be plenty of false negatives if the hormones haven't had time to build up, but I didn't think those tests hardly ever, if ever, falsely detected the hormones. I'm thinking maybe your last test was the falsey and the two positives you got are the truth! Fingers crossed...please keep us updated!
I tested today for the first time and it was a BFN :-( But it's only 10 DPO, so I'll just continue testing until AF arrives. Last time I tested 5 straight days with BFNs before getting my BFP, so I can be patient if need be!
I've definitely been feeling some symptoms...what I think was IB on 6 DPO, and then lots of tingly breasts these past couple days. Plus, I've gotten some soft stools - and last time my first symptom (which I didn't even know was a symptom then) was diarrhea (sorry if TMI!), so maybe soft stools is a good thing, lol. Fingers crossed!

Thank you crazycatcouple,
I read online that there is indeed a possibility of false negatives from FRER. I also read by one woman who even called and was asked to return them for testing and they mailed her a new set. I am not taking it that far though. Till about last week I had a lot of breast tenderness and tingling, bloating, dry mouth and headaches. Today it seems to be all going away. Had a horrible headache yesterday all day, dry mouth, and some bloating. The breast part is pretty much gone and so is the bloating. I get it here and there. I am cd 12 or 13 dpo. Af should arrive this week. Sending baby dust to you too. Your symptoms sound promising:)

I'm only on 10 DPO, so I know I could still have plenty more days of this not-knowing thing, but I've already wasted multiple hours today worrying about it and trying to figure it out sooner, lol. I am so impatient!
Sorry, just needed to vent about it, as I figured you ladies would understand :-) DH is not as excited and into every detail with me this time. Last time, he obsessed right there with me, but this time he's just sitting back and relaxing. Oh, to be a man... lol

Hi girls,
Must say this journey of mine has not been an easy one but a wonderful learning experience. Im very thankful to have had the opportunity to interact with all of you wonderful & lovely women who shared your stories, symptoms & bfps. Mine has sadly come to an end but only for the better. Af is here and im ready to get my self and hubby back in shape. Thank you all & I hope you all get your bfps and gender of choice. Hopefully next bfp is pgd (gotta do lots of money saving lol) because this charting, opk'ing, dieting, supplement taking and bd here N there was driving me nuts. Lots of big hugs and kises to you all thank you for letting me share my wonderful experience with you;)

MIka,
I really appreciate your wonderful thoughts!.
After these past two My DH is devastated, and I am in shock on how hard he's taking it. He did not talk to me all day Monday and is extremely hurt that I took it so lightly when I got the positive pregnancy and period shortly and now he's begging that we don't stop ttc and is pretty much throwing in the towel as far as swaying, he said he wants to do the minimal as possible regarding swaying but wants to continue trying. I am so sad he feels this way and im stuck because i know weight loss for me and exercising sways girl :(. I know that for fact because all of my girls were conceived during times where I was in the process of loosing weight and exercising.
What would I do in this situation? I was so overly joyed when AF came because I was ready to get back to my skinny self, but my DH actually cried to me in disbelief that I did not care. How do I go on from this? I feel that I am taking his dreams of being a daddy again away. A friend who also tried motivating me back in exercising and harassed me about going back to the gym as she has been my gym buddy and she was making comments & telling me that my DH does not want to see me fit as he was jealous and self conscious about himself and she suggested i tie my tubes behind his back and not have anymore children, but I come to find out she's desperately trying to get pregnant and I kinda think she was a bit jealous of my ttc and she doesn't want me to beat her to the punch. I'm in a pickle now, and I am still determined to get the DH in shape, but what would I do for my self? Should I lie and go back on birth control pills or keep trying? My heart tells me yes lets do this and my mind says no lets get in shape :(. My DH has also been telling my little one to tell me that she wants a baby brother. I am so torn right now.

Hi ladies! Anyone a temping expert? I thought this was strange & was wondering if anyone could help?Does anyone know the normal range that temps can drop during the 2WW & still be in the normal range?I find it strange that yesterday & today my temps were 98.26 &98.25
The day before these temps it was 98.44.ive been taking 100mg of progesterone for 4 days & I though it was odd my temp would drop @ all being on the progesterone.I'm either 6 or 7 DPO today

Leebug, temps vary from one cycle to the next. I've been doing a lot of research on temping and it's been helping me the last 2 cycles. One thing I've noticed is that if temps go down and continues to go down, it's usually not a good sign. Most charts I've seen where there was a positive pregnancy had temps that dipped and then went back up and stayed up. As long as you stay above the control line though you should be fine. GL to you!

Yogi, wow I'm so sorry to hear this. I really sympathize with you. The reason I started trying again is because my dh really wanted a 3rd child. I know he really wants a son and my dds want a little brother. I was fine with 2 kids and really didn't want the stress and disappointment of trying for one gender and not getting it. It's too much pressure. Plus, I was working out a lot and my girls are more independent so things were great. But, I gave it A LOT of thought and ended up agreeing that now would be a good time to have another baby (I'm 33/ dh 35). I made peace with having another daughter and had to have that talk with dh to make sure he understands that we may not have a boy. I have been swaying, but it's getting difficult. I am not a big eater, and I don't really care for meat. I put on 5 pounds and the BFNs I've been getting the last 4 month is taking a toll.
I do think you should talk to you dh, be open and honest and don't do anything behind his back. Really think about the decisions you make...ask yourself if you would really be ok with not trying again. Also, you mention health reasons...I think you should bring that up to your dh and tell him that you are worried about that and want to focus on getting healthy first. Also, you probably shouldn't share any more info with your "friend." And don't take anymore advice from her or anyone who doesn't have your best interest at heart. I feel your frustrations though! I'll be praying for you guys.

MIka,
You are amazing with your advice and thank you for understanding. So after a cup of Joe and lots of thinking and talking, the DH said that he wants to go on. This cycle I stopped temping as of AF because during every TWW, it would make me super stressed. He insisted that he is absolutely ok with another girl if it doesn't go the way we planned and he said that at least this time around he will be at peace knowing he and I did our parts. I am definitely taking your advice and I will no longer share anything with my "friend".I agree with your that these dang diets are taking a toll on us. I enjoy meat but not as much as I enjoy dairy, milk, and lots of super sweat stuff :(.
There is no doubt that this time around I am also going to take it easy and not write any dates down or or temp in any way. I will just go by the CBFM monitor peak days and im done. So far all months used, I ovulate on or the day after my second peak. Thank you for keeping me in your thoughts! You always have something wonderful to say and keep my hopes up. I will be praying for you too!:hug2:

I told him would you rather have a sick child or a girl or none at all. He finally got the point and very well i see from how he took it recently. Men are like onions you gotta peel them slowly. My Dh is very open with his feelings. He very sentimental and cries when we see movies lol I get teary eye but he goes all weapy and sobby. Hi everyone! So I tested this am and saw the faintest shadow of a line with a FRER. My husband did not see anything. But I swear, I take these tests so much I know where the lines would be. There is a shadow there, I saw it after the 3 min time and it is still there but such a squinter (like you have to hold at an angle up to the light, I could not see on a picture).
I really hope this is not a evap line. Should I test again tomorrow or wait until Sunday if I don't start AF before?

Also, I really really hope you get your BFP this time Leebug!
I truly understand where you are coming from. I never realized how hard things could be with ttc. I just thought for sure I'd have one of each sex and wouldn't have to worry about things like this. I definitely had to make my peace with having another girl before ttc this time around because the anxiety and disappointment would be far too great. My little sister just had her first dd (after she had a son a few years ago) and now I'm having mixed feelings about having a daughter all over again. Anyway, at least I can say that I've done all I can this time around.

Thanks Leebug and Mlka! I am not getting excited yet since it was such a super squinter. Funny about your comment with DH not seeing line, I didn't even feel like he gave it a good look (men!). While I have prob. looked at it again 1000 times in every type of light, lol.
Just FX like crazy that this is not a evap line, hoping since it is a name brand it is not. We have been TTC since the end of 2012 but did have a MC in 2013. Anyone else had a very very very very faint line on a FRER and turned out to be a BFP?
It is going to be so hard to wait until Sun (I should be about 14 dpo then) but would rather wait and give the hcg time to double like you said Leebug (if it's there).

On 10 DPO, I took it out of the garbage (LOL) and saw a grayish line so I assumed was evaporation line. 11 DPO I got the one I posted with the gray line with a touch of pink. Went out a few hours later to get a FRER and 2 lines immediately came up. So for me, the FRER was quicker and more obvious than Wondfo.

Hello ladies! I'm now 7dpo and am looking forward to seeing if we've been successful this month, the wait I'd awful!!! I have a question...everywhere I read says it just isn't possible to have symptoms before implantation, but within a few days of our attempt I developed EXTREMELY sore breasts, and this is not a normal issue for me. My breasts never change ever, not throughout my cycle, they barely even change while I'm breast feeding. I've had 6 children, and this has never been a symptom for me of pregnancy. I actually keep forgetting about it and telling myself I'm being stupid but anytime my DH or children hug me, I quickly remember as its excruciating pain...and both are very lumpy too. Has anyone else had symptoms before implantation? Or should I worry its something else?

I've tried not read too much into symptoms as I keep reading that its impossible to feel things this early. But I also feel pregnant already. Time will tell I guess!! Sisterplease, I'm 7DPO today, too. Planning to test tomorrow if my temp doesn't drop. I too have had very sore nipples starting on 3DPO and tender breasts for 2 days now. Normally I very rarely have sensitive breasts, didn't have them with my first 5 pregnancies from what I recall, but last month I felt the same starting at 5DPO/7DPO (first nipples then entire breasts), and AF came as schedule, and I felt quite tricked and deceived.
This month I'm trying not to read too much into my (seemingly even MORE) painful breasts/nips or higher than usual temps. But it's hard! When will you test?

HI girls, I'm new to posting on a forum but have been reading through all the pink swaying info on here for months & also on the LE diet since 1st Jan this year.
I am in need of some advice at the moment please. I have two gorgeous boys (4 & 2 years old) and am longing for a girl to be #3. I fell pregnant with both boys on first attempt. Hubby and I started trying for a girl last month, without success. I think the diet and loss of 4kgs in 1 month completely threw off my cycle and ovulation date. I don't generally have a regular cycle as it is, but usually only a few days early or over due date. This time around I got my period after only 21 days between cycles, it is usually 27-31 days apart. We had only one attempt TTC, 3 days before Ovulation, and DH has been abstaining for 8 days.I have also been using repHresh, (did half an application 14 hours before DTD too) and I douched afterwards with lemon/water. I did not J & D.
So here is my dilemma. This diet is the complete opposite to my usual diet (might explain the two boys haha), breakfast is also my favourite meal of the day lol. And we have also cut out all meat, fish and poultry.
I have lost 4kgs already, am down to 58kgs now, and being 173cm tall, I don't know how much more I can lose or afford to lose. I am struggling a lot with the diet (as is DH, he is also doing it. No meat is a struggle for him).
So I really feel like my sway may fail if we don't fall pregnant this month. I would appreciate any advice on timing and your suggestions on do's and don'ts if we want to fall pregnant this month. Have I made the environment too hostile for any sperm to survive? How do I fall pregnant now when I really have no idea what is happening with my cycle? I am using and OPK and it came up with highly fertile last month when we DTD. But I am so unsure atm. I was going to TTC more often this month but am scared it will result in a boy. Help please xxoo

I would drop the lemon douche. If your looking for a quick bfp stick to the diet and one attempt as they get the best results. Run this past atomic, she will advise on,this and how to regulate your cycle. Good luck x

March 4th, 2014, 02:45 AM
Hi Chloe, if I were u, I'd start vitex from cd 1-14 as its meant to help regulate cycles. Also try and do the rephresh maybe 24 hours before dtd? Although if makes it difficult if u aren't regular. And stick with the one attempt but do it the night u get a positive opk, not 3 days before ovulation. Hope u r successful soon!!

I wanted to test earlier so I know how you feel! I had a ton of pg symptoms during my last two LPs, I.e. since I've been TTC. Apparently I don't notice these things normally, but now since I want to be pg I'm hyper focusing on them.
I had the most awful migraine yesterday evening, with horrid nausea, thirst, and fatigue that thankfully knocked me out. Right before my migraine started I had sharp stabbing/pinching/burning pain on my ovaries (both sides but way worse on my right where I Oed from). Thankfully I feel back to normal this morning after sleeping for 15 hours straight. Very hungry and thirsty though since I could nt bear to eat/drink. I often get migraines around O time but never had one late in my cycle like this.
How are you doing?
Chloe, I agree with Mrs. I. Drop the Rephresh/Douche, just stick with diet + 1 attempt.

Maiden, I've been having the exact same as you!!! Maybe we're both going crazy?!? Last night felt lots of stuff going on in uterus area and actually felt swelling on my right hand side. Felt like menstrual cramps/wind/pulling, all that. Plus a bit 'tingly' everywhere, hard to really describe, but what I get before a migraine. This morning I've woken up with an awful headache, and just don't feel well at all. Not thirsty like you at all, but very tired, dopey, with very sore breasts. Thankfully haven't gone off coffee or anything, having a cup now to wake me up! Another bfn though this morning, as I expected. Looking forward to normality now to be honest!!! If this isn't my month, I think I'll be taking a break for a while.

I'm honestly feeling pretty down (my temp dropped a bit, too). I'm only holding out hope bc like you, my breasts are still really sore. Last month 1-2 days before AF came my breasts started feeling almost normal again.
I'm having a lot more cramping/pain this morning, for a couple hours now. Right behind my pubic bone in front and to the right, so both uterus and ovary. I even took 200mg ibuprofen- it is that uncomfortable. I never had cramping when pregnant before but I have the past few cycles since TTC so not a good sign for me. I'm just praying I don't see any blood for at least 3 days.
I hope the coffee perked you up! It's possible caffeine withdrawal partially triggered my migraine yesterday so I might try some today.

Hi girls! Temp still up today but I just didn't feel like saving my urine from this morning & going out in 3 degree weather to get a test.I'm just gonna wait a couple more days to see if my temp drops.feeling kind of depressed today.just feel like this month was wasted because dh had to travel & we only got one attempt in.if I am pregnant I have weeks and weeks of worrying its another girl because our attempt was O-2.he left again yesterday to go to Texas & I'm stuck with my extremely annoying father in law until Thursday night

Leebug, I got all kinds of symptoms these past cycles and just knew they were pregnancy related but wasn't. I'm hoping yours will end in a bfp but it's just crazy how my body kept playing cruel jokes on me with the cramping, nausea, etc. I'm not looking forward to this 2ww coming this week for me. Its hard not to symptom spot like I always promise myself not to do.

When I got pg in November I had a clear positive @ 10dpo & with all my other pregnancies so I'm pretty sure I'm out this month

Leebug, I had the constant cramping my whole TWW my first cycle TTC. And like you Mika, I tell myself every time that I won't symptom spot but I can't help it!
How did I never notice all these things before? Am I just imagining them? I truly don't know.

I'm terrible for symptom spotting. It's like you say though you don't notice them when you're not ttc. When I got my bfp with ds2 I was already 3-4weeks pregnant and had no idea. I only took a test when I realised af hadn't been in a while.

BFN with a FRER today...not FMU but the darkest urine I've had today (my urine is usually lemonade at the darkest, I rarely have apple juice urine). Ugh!

CD1 today.this will be our last attempt as DH only agreed to 3 attempts. This month I got a free "attempt" pass because he was traveling & didn't know if he would be here.he actually planned his next trip for after I knew I would ovulate which I thought was really nice.sorry for the bfns.

Aw Maiden, me too! Another bfn today. It is so disheartening! But we're still only 10dpo so don't give up hope. I have no more tests and I think I just won't buy any until af is due (Monday), then I'll know for sure one way or the other. Now how to think about other things?!?!? Especially when I 'feel' pregnant. Nature can be cruel!!!!

Leebug, 3 months isn't really long enough to fall pg without swaying, but practically impossible with swaying as you are making it so much harder to fall pg! Is there any way he'll extend that for you. I'm in a similar boat as dh turns 40 in September and has a cut off around that time, maybe b4 if he freaks out! Could you speak to him? Its a lot of pressure to put yourself under too. Xx

I'm not sure if I will test again. 18dpo and the app on my phone says I still have 6 days till af. My cycle was always 31 days until Nov/Dec when I had a weird 50 day cycle!! Typical that it would happen just before we planned to ttc. Last month it was 39 days.

I got a +opk on cd16. I don't temp though so I guess I could have oed later. If I oed later then I think I'm out because we only bd'd at +opk and the day after.

Hey ladies! Dpo 12 now, and had very AF-like heavy cramps on dpo 6..
That is the only thing that may indicate pregnancy, because i know now my natural cycle gives me all kinds of aches and sores.
2 hands full of happy baby dust for us all!

I have seen people O 2-4 days after a positive OPK, sometimes even longer. If you did O later than CD17, you still have a good shot as sperm can live up to a week under the right conditions (copious EWCM). Did you keep testing with OPKs until you saw the second line fade/thr OPKs turn negative? I often see people have multiple days of positive OPKs in a row, most commonly 2 days, but 3-6 days isn't uncommon. If you have 3+ positive OPK days in a row, often O will happen on the day of the last positive, NOT the day after a first positive.
Another possibility is that your body geared up to O when you got your positive OPK but didn't actually do so. If that happened, your body would have tried again a few to several days later. Sometimes it takes several tries to O successfully, and then you would see 2 or more positive OPKs separated by days of negative OPKs. If you have longer cycles, it's more likely to happen, and the girl diet can cause O fake outs, too. But if you don't keep testing with OPKs and/or you don't temp, you wouldn't realize it. Something to consider if you don't get lucky this month, maybe?

That CAN be just fine for plenty of ladies especially ones with very regular cycles. But if you're not super regular or you have longer cycles, I really do recommend daily OPKs. Or if it's too much stress, BD every 4 days.
I have very regular cycles in terms of overall cycle length but when I O moves around quite a bit, just as an example. Thus why I will do BD every 4 days next month, after how much my poor quality OPKs upset me this month!

I wanted to try and bd every 4 days but it's just not possible with dhs work and my own work. I work till 8 at night and dh starts work early in the morning so goes straight to bed when I get in. He gets in from work and I go to mines. Will try my hardest to make time next cycle. My cycles were very regular but are all over the place now. Thanks so much for your advice. I really appreciate it.

Mrs I-it was a huge accomplishment just getting DH to go for 3 cycles.he really doesn't want anymore kids.I actually already was pg in Nov with one attempt O-1 but it just didn't stick.we also live @ my in laws now which BLOWS because we sold our home in 3 days back in Sept and have yet to find another one.DH just was diagnosed with Epilepsy since his last seizure on February 5th so with all that I'm surprised he hasn't backed out on the agreement.I'm gonna do a few accupressure sessions this month & some weight training so hopefully that will help.

Oh yeah lyngo, the diet sure messes up our cycles, doesn't it? But at least it's a good sign that we are successfully changing our bodies. I do recommend Vitex too, I just started it 2 weeks ago and I think it might already have started working as my LP is a bit longer this month.
Leebug, I'm so sorry you're dealing with multiple constraints and I hope things ease up for you. Not having your own place is awful, too. I'm in a temporary, crappy living conditions myself and it has a tremendously negative effect on my happiness. :( Maybe when DH is feeling better and you've moved out from your in laws he will change his mind...you never know!
Ladies, I had an AWFUL night...I developed a particularly bad crick in my neck/shoulder which led to extra back pain (muscles tightening and spasming), and I was also feeling burpy/nauseated due to an empty stomach. As a result I barely got any sleep and now I can hardly keep my eyes open.
Worst of all, I felt a gush in my panties late last night and it was light brown CM :( which doubtless means AF will arrive shortly. Then this morning my temp dropped to cover line. I did initially wake up with my mouth open due to congestion, but blew my nose then closed my mouth and slept for 30 more minutes before temping. Was that long enough to restore my normal oral temp, do you think? First time that's ever happened to me.

GM ladies - Leebug I am so sorry you have so much going on. I'm glad your dh is giving it another try though. I really hope things work out for you!
Maidentomother, sorry about all you have going on as well! Your temp was compromised when you got out of bed. I actually did a test to see if it made a difference by taking my temp regular time and then getting out of bed for a quick minute and retaking it. My temp dropped everytime I did that. So maybe that's the reason yours went down so far. I hope you you get a bfp!!

AF came this morning...as expected. :(
Mika, I didn't get out of bed before temping...just woke up, realized mouth was open, blew my nose while lying down, slept for 30 min more, then temped. Today my temp was exactly the same as yesterday so I think it was probably pretty accurate. Good to know, right? I temped vaginally as well as I'd like to try that this cycle.
