Holy c**p I think I am pregnant-edited to add, I just read a post about blood sugar
Excuse the above line but I am freaking out a bit here-I just got a faint positive at 9 dpo-took another test and it is also faint pos-some of you may remember I had a rather disastrous "attempt" 10 days ago. I had what looked like an implantation dip 2 days ago, and then my 8 yo daughter woke up yesterday and told me she had a dream I was pregnant with a girl (I also had the same dream) then today she told me she wished she had another sister (out of the blue)... so I decided to test today. I am heading out to the GP to get my bloodwork done, but with my luteal phase defect I am terrified I'll lose this one. I am hoping to get on some progesterone cream-not sure if I should be worried though about progesterone once I have implanted if I am taking the B6? And how much B6 should I take now (was taking 60-75 mg/day)?

edited to add, I just read a post that clarified blood sugar-2ww-but I am guessing once I get a positive (per Indira) that I have implanted and don't need to worry-going to eat whatever for now and just restart the diet if I need to....

Thank you DoulaMama! this was not planned as I would have liked so I am in a bit of panic, my DH isn't even here and my mother comes Wed so I'll have to keep it to myself (and the board) for a while. I sure hope it sticks and that the "swaying" worked...

Thank you everyone, just went to the Dr and the urine test came back neg (not a surprise as I had only been holding it for 1 hour and I think their test is something like 50 miU) but my blood test will come back tomorrow, I am really worried it won't stick. Will test again tonight after 4 hours holding, I'll keep you posted!

Continue the B6 as you have been taking it, you don't to change that right now at all as I remember it. Otherwise, I am pretty sure you should not worry about blood sugar at this point and eat a well rounded diet. Atomic can correct this advice if needed...

Thanks lindi, was thinking of upping it to 100 mg-would that hurt me in any way? I can easily enough stick with the 60-70 but want to hedge my bets as I am gettin' up there.
I did go off the diet some today- I figured it was worth it to gain weight if nothing else.

Thank you Yuzu!

Well my beta from yestersay (at 9 dpo came back indeterminate) but I boghut a FRER test today and it is definite positive, I held my bladder for 3.5 hrs to make sure it wasnt faint. It appears that the GP did a qualitative test and my hCG was probably only 12 yesterday or something. (I am guessing indeterminate range is between 5-25 mIU)
They want me back in on Thursday to retest which will be difficult as my mother nad DH arrive tomorrow. I jsut hope I don't end up with a chemical pregnancy.

Thank you outoftheblue- the dream and comments by my daughter were freaky, it is part of why I am holding out hope!

Still super crampy and starting to feel sick and dizzy. My temp went up today! I am trying to pack on the pounds now.

Thank you everyone, (outoftheblue and zanacal, thanks!) I am still freaking out a bit, especially since I think I got pg after jump and dump with a diaghragm flipped with only sylk (no other acidifying agent) I am hoping that my pH was low enough at 4.5 to 4.9 to deal wtih the sperm ( which I think was 7.3)-agh! At least I had taken a benadryl. I did not expect it to happen like this-lime etc took place 1.5 hrs later so if I got pg it was from the accidentally flipped diaghram incident.

my temp is still high at 11 dpo, I feel terrible (nausea, dizziness and fatigue aready, maybe psychosomatic!) and am really crampy-here's hoping, will keep you posted!

Thank you Yuzu!

You can up it to 100 if you like. 100 is safe during the first tri and may even help prevent morning sickness (although it did NOTHING for me!!)
