Hi everyone,

I've been absent for quiet some time. I've not really been back since the birth of my gender opposite boy.
Fast forward 9 months and we have a very accidental oops pregnancy.
We were going to have another baby, but I wanted a good chance at swaying again, which I feel somewhat robbed of now.
Anyways, I was wondering if you ladies could shed some light on wether you think my current circumstance favoured boy or girl.

2 boys, 9yrs and 9mnths
I'm 31, dh 45
I'm exclusively breastfeeding still. Alex hates solids so I'm still feeding 3 hourly around the clock.
My cycle returned 4 months post partum and has been fairly regular 29 day cycles.
We DTD once, on either on ovulation, or ovulation plus 1 day, maybe 2 (I'm not 100% certain on which day out of 3 I ovulated on)
I jumped and dumped.
It had been 7 days since last ejaculation
My diet was fairly healthy as I am nursing. Lots of fresh fruit and veg, healthy fats. Red meat 1-2 times a week.
I was taking supps for milk supply, fenugreek, brewers yeast and blessed thistle
I was exercising moderately.
Generally I'm in good health, I am a normal weight.
Hubby is also in good health and works out daily.

Obviously I know that it is what it is, but would love some opinions on which gender my situation favoured.

Thanks in advance
.

Congrats :)
Not an expert but I do know that just one attempt around ovulation has been getting great pink results, and that's exactly what you did! Fx you get your dd x

Think it's really 50%

Breastfeading and 1dtd and jump and dump favours girl.
Excersicing moderatly and healthy foods favours boy

Good luck and hope you get pink!

Haha Lassie I was just thinking of you yesterday!!! Congrats!!!

It is ALWAYS possible to get a boy or a girl no matter what so please don't give up hope. In fact I think for some of us a "sneak attack" may sway pink more than a lot of other sway tactics do!

Close spacing between kiddos and breastfeeding may also sway pink. Eating healthy does tend to sway blue but then again I suspect if not for that you wouldn't ahve been able to get pregnant at all anyway.

Wishing you the very best of luck and sending you a ton of pink dust!

Oh yes forgot to mention this part! We've been getting 75% pink results with one attempt in fertile window.

Just to clarify so you know, there has never been a confirmed pregnancy from 1 day after ovulation, let alone 2, so you probably DTD on O day. (that is fine and studies have shown this is 50-50)

NO WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Huge congrats! Apparently we are in the same boat...AGAIN as I am pg with an oops too!

I think your chances are good for girl. I look at how obsessive we were with POAS, charting, tracking diet, and swaying in general and I truly feel better about it this time around. I always wonder with DS2 and DS3 (even though they are my worlds) that maybe I altered my path by trying to force something so hard. Sometimes there is a higher plan out there and we just have to go with the flow!!

Ahhhhhh you're kidding!!!! What are the chances of us both being pregnant again at the same time, unbelievable!!!!!!! What a small world :)

Fingers crossed we've both got our little pink miracles :DD:
Will you be finding out? Is there a due date group?

And he's I agree about the stress in swaying that you and atomic mention, I know stress played a huge part when Alex was conceived.

I am going to do what I did last time with a secret u/s. what about you?

I created a due date thread in the due date buddies forum! I'm so glad we're going through this together!

NCBeachy and Lassie - weren't we all TTC and then in due date groups together last time? I AM SO JEALOUS YOU BOTH HAVE OOPSIE BABIES! Hahaha! I haven't gotten my cycle back yet, but I don't know why I'd want to do all that again... but you guy's are making me want to join in on the oops train!
