Hey ladies just letting you know I will likely back off from this forum for a while. I may stalk a little bit but, who knows *shrugs*. I am having a very hard time with all things ttc and life in general and my depression is back. I will be seeing a psychologist as of this Wednesday. I won't be telling dh as he doesn't need to know. That will only make things worse for him as my moods and his problem are causing his depression to resurface and he gets it worse then I do. Thank you for all your support, I really value it xx :bighugs:

Hi Ladies,
Just wanted to drop by for some opinions.I would like to in advance apologize dropping in more often.

I am a little worried because during my two month break I took birth control. I stopped them on sunday August 3rd. AF started Tuesday following my last bcp which was only 3 days after. I started my Fertility Blend Supplements and Fish oil on Friday August 1st which to date is only about two weeks. I also reset my Clear Blue Fertility Monitor because I never took the batteries out and so I had no choice but to reset and erase the memory. According to the CBFM today is CD 9 and I on day 6 it asked for the 1st test which gave me a high reading and I am sure its standard on a first time use, however this morning I got a Peak and I was totally not expecting it. I feel so emotial right now and feel like crying because we have been bd'ing unprotected since CD5. We bd CD 5, 7,8. I honestly did not expect to ovulate because I did not ovulate when i first had the intention to sway last year. I think I ovulated on my 3rd month. I don't know what to do ladies. I have only taken since I started this round the Fertility Blend Supps, Fish Oil and have been drinking two cups of green tea, lots of water, oatmeal with bluberries and nuts every morning. I haven't done any exercise or weights and that just makes me feel like a complete looser and I feel like if I do get pregnant I just lost my only small chances of having a boy. If today CD9 I got a peak and I just came off BCP is there anything I can do at this time to help me a bit???? Or (I know this is cruel) should I take a morning after pill??? :(( I am so sad and dissapointed and confused and don't know what I should do. Sorry for my rant and allowing me to vent. I will take any advice and your opinions are greatly appreciated. I honestly was going for my first sway in august and i was in the process of loosing some weight and buying all of the goodies for my upcoming sway.

Thank-you again ladies and fx to you all!
Update* i did a cheapy 99cent opk and I think its positive. This was with after noon pee and very dilutedhttp://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/08/15/apaganut.jpg

Yogi...but what if this is your DS? Have you thought?
ClearBlue gives sometimes bad results...you should continue testing..you might have surprises....
But in case you are ovulationg...
I would not take a pill but the decission is yours. I see you wrote this message 2 days ago...so I wonder what have you done....

MyByc,

💜😊. I decided to suck it up and just move on & go team green. If I ended with another dd then it is meant to be. I was able to get in three BD's. The two days before my peak and on my peak day. I still had a positive opk last night on a cheapy opk which would have been cd11. I guess only time will tell now. I should be 1-2 dpo today. :o
Thank you for your reply :)

I think in the end, nature decides whatever we do and try...
I pray for a DD every night and day...I do my best in everyhing Atomic advices me to do but nature can kick our A....and nature is created by God so if it's meant to be you to have another girl and me to have another boy, we would/will have them even with our plans and efforts for the opposite.
Important is to be healthy baby and bring us joys and happiness in future.
Good luck in any way...I do hope you will hear bLuE (if you are pg).
Hugs :X

I'm trying to figure out how to get dh to bd during my fertile days without him knowing it's my fertile days.

I know he has the Viagra but I don't want to add any extra anxiety for dh. Any tips from anyone?

kitkat18
August 22nd, 2014, 10:46 PM
I would just try and be super sexy, wear nothing to bed, sexy lingerie have a few drinks act relaxed, I would do this at several points in cycle so he doesn't guess your fertile days....good luck.honey I practically had to insist my DH DTD the day of conception no fun!!! Xxx,

I agree with kitkat. I'd try and get him ti dtd as often as possible which may throw him off and take the pressure off.

My hubby normally has super low libido but the month we tried, he was actually into it because of all the other aspects involved. I tried to make it moee than just about getting in his pants which helped lol

Junie
August 22nd, 2014, 11:26 PM
That is hard boysway. I know my husband tends to get a bit suspicious if I act too differently then normal. I would look at what has worked in the past and try to recreate those situations. My DH is a sucker for a massage for example. I agree about trying it out once or twice before it is important to keep him from getting suspicious and feeling pressured.

Kitkat, I think I'll need to shop for some nice lingerie. None of mine fits anymore due to weight gain. My libido has increased so I'm often hinting to him about getting practice in, lol. I hint so often I don't think he would wonder why I was trying to encourage him.

Odd, I would love hubby to pull extra libido from somewhere, he practically has none.

Junie, we do have massage oil we bought when we first started TTC, it's still sitting in my drawer unopened, lol. I told him this morning we should start using it.

Mamato3?, I tried that once he woke up and asked what I was doing, ROFL.

:)) my hubby would do it every single day twice if possible :))))
I'm sooo tired sometimes...

Boysway, you dont want to tell him about the sway?

Boysway
August 24th, 2014, 02:59 AM
MyByC, most of the time I'm lucky if we bd once a month with dh's libido :( He knows about the sway. Dh feeling pressure to perform is half the reason he needs to take Viagra. Low testosterone is the other reason.

He actually said to me today "When do we go live?" Lol. I didn't tell him when my fertile days are. I thought it was cute him asking, though.

MyByC
August 24th, 2014, 05:19 PM
Well maybe prepare some surprises for him...
Some linjerie and hot bath with champagne..
A night at the hotel and just write him the address where to be and what time(you can arrange something nice inside when he's comming)....
...or you can just put some high heels and nothing on and wait him in the door when he's back from work? :))))

I'm sure you know better your hubby. Good luck! :)

I'm getting dh to call his dad today to find out if they can look after the kids this Friday night. I'm hoping to book some where to stay overnight. It won't be around O time because that will likely be through next week but it's better than nothing.

Why must our bodies be so unpredictable. Last cycle I ovulated on CD 15. It's usually CD 19-21. Atomic said this can happen sometimes when someone has been on the HE diet long enough (since January for me). It looks like my body may already be gearing up for O. *TMI* cm has gone from dry to creamy already. I've let dh know I would like to get some 'practice in' on Wednesday and Saturday, lol. If I O on CD 15, that is this Saturday. Nothing much showing on OPK's but, they don't tend to get close to +OPK till a day or two before my true +OPK. I guess I better start all my pre O supps. I wish I could tell dh when O is coming up though. It would make things easier. I wouldn't feel as though I was nagging dh to bd.

Period had started which means DH won't be home in time for next ovulation ( he does fly in fly out ) he will literally get in two days late =(

We couldn't try this cycle has he went away for a whole month.
Last cycle my period was 29 day cycle after TTC!
This month ... 26 days.
Not much but when hubby is working away it certainly matters.

As if TTC isn't hard enough let alone swaying and hubby working away =(

Everything happens for a reason. Due to out other kids birthdays we won't be trying probably until mid next year depending on hubbies work schedule.

We we're meant to try last year but due to a lifestyle change we couldn't. Guess if I've come this far along I can be patient and wait another 9 or so months.

Thank you for your good luck wishes :D Maybe *TMI* But, I have told hubby I'm booking him in for some practice tomorrow morning, lol.

I really hope this is it. I'd rather my body be expanding due to pregnancy rather than the weight I'm gaining from the diet.

That really sucks cherry blossom! I can't imagine how frustrating that would be. I agree that you should try to delay ovulation with supplements if you can. And of course, I'd still dtd with dh as soon as he gets home, just in case you didn't miss the window.

I am expected to O on Friday. We BD this morning. I am worried about it only being a 2 day cut off for swaying boy. I know refraining from releasing every 3 days is best for sperm...but I dont want to risk and miss the window so we plan to BD Thursday, Friday, &Saturday. Think this is ok?

Hmm, OPK's aren't as dark as I would like. Still time though. It would be great if by some miracle I do O CD 15-16. We have arranged for FIL and his partner to look after the kids on Saturday night (CD15) :D We are going to try and get some overnight accommodation booked :D It's been a while since we've been able to get out just us, overnight. I hoping we will get a one hit wonder from this cycle. We have so far managed to bd on CD 9 and CD 12. I am hoping to bd every three days till I get my +OPK. So far so good :D The Viagra seems to have given dh a new confidence which is great.

CherryBlossom
August 27th, 2014, 09:35 AM

Cherry - have you been exercising? I know upping cardio or cutting back fat can delay o. Not sure if saw palmetto and vitex help delay. I'm pretty sure peppermint tea delayed my ovulation 1-2 days the cycle I conceived

Junie
August 27th, 2014, 01:44 PM
Cherry you can also try vitex although it can make your cycle really wonky. I'm taking it this cycle again, I took it with my first son, it made me think I had od (was charting) but then I really Od days later. But it did affect my cycle. When I drank peppermint tea almost every day this cycle the same thing happened I was also doing a ton of cardio last cycle as well.

August 28th, 2014, 12:39 AM
I guess I'm in the 2ww now. My stark white ovulation test turned into a sudden positve today and we had unprotected sex last night. We were not trying o get pregnant as I was waiting for a period cycle after my d&c. I'm kind of freaking out a bit and super worried it won't stick if I do fall pregnant which is more than likely if that truly is a positive opk. I think it's crazy how it went from white to positive. It's never happened like that before and I thought we were in a safe window of time. Lesson learned...

Hi Blue-Blue-Pink :)
I have been swaying since September of 2013 but started trying January 2014. I took a break June and July 2014 because I was going crazy with swaying. I recently started back on the diet and planned to start again September but leaning more towards October because I already have two June daughters. 3 birthdays in one month is a bit too much for me lol.

How about yourself ? How long have you been swaying? Good Luck to you!!! :) Hope you get your pink sticky bean

Ble-Blue-Pink awww thank-you :Dand I wish you the same. Its soo funny because I feel the same. I just don't know how I keep having girls and I see so many of you beautiful mommas really wanting a princess. My dh only has one sister and she has 4 girls and I have 3 girls. Zero boys so we really really would love a prince in our house. I must say the eating part did it for me though. I love to sleep in late, so this means skipping breakfast and hardly any snacks but no exercise and that got me three girls. *throw my hands up in the air* I'm flippin over it! Dh not interested in bd this morning, said to wait till we go away. Come night time he was put out a little when I asked him not to drink anymore as he shouldn't drink when having the tablet. He has one more beer, stops drinking then decides he is now too tired to bd because he stopped drinking. I know we're still in for a slim chance if we bd in the morning (it's after 12am here). I just feel so disheartened, let down and rejected. It shouldn't be this hard :( Just lovely :( crying on my night away.

I'm so over it Rosie. I don't know what to do anymore. I thought this would be such perfect timing. It would be easier if I could just get myself pregnant. No stress that way. He wants to know when I'm ovulating, I think I will just tell him from now on. It's putting more stress and strain on me when he doesn't know. Right now I couldn't give a damn how pressured he feels. I'm just tired of feeling miserable this time of the month. We finally get a chance to go away and this happens. I still haven't seen my psychologist as he was sick the week I was supposed to see him. I just don't have the strength for this.

It sucks when we don't get to control everything. I so wish things were working out differently for you. Would hubby feel more comfortable doing it in a cup and then using an insemination kit at home?? I.know it's weird but it could be an option. After the positve opk you could still have up to 48 hours before the egg releases so maybe you can still get an attempt? ? Big hugs to you.

What a party pooper :( Hang in there boysway. I know what you are going through. To be honest with you my dh did the same shit (excuse my french) so this is why I ended up taking a break. Some are just not able to perform ujder pressure and kinda start acting like kids saying they cant and will not. My dh doesn't know I am swaying let alone trying. He thinks I am on bcp. I think you still have time for one or two bd's before you ovulate. Big hugs to you and hang in there.😔

Pfff, boysway, I'm so sorry for you. GD and trying to get our DG is hard enough as it is without DHs not cooperating.

But I do believe you still have time, is your OPK not suppossed to be darker then the control line? So is it really positive yet?

Boysway
August 30th, 2014, 06:40 PM
Rosie, dh would be disgusted at the thought. I have suggested self release before and the look on his face said it all.

Yogi, thanks for the offer xxx It's all good.

So excited. So, on the way home from our night away we stopped by a car yard for a look. We have been thinking on and off about a new car but, I didn't think dh would go for brand new. So, I signed the final paper work today. We are getting a 7 seater 2014 Mitsubishi Pajero :D Soooo excited. Not a moment too soon either. Dh's 18 year old car barely passed for rego and really, isn't safe to drive. My car which will become dh's car seems to overheat if the car is stop and starting all the time when driving. Hopefully we should pick the car up on Friday afternoon before picking the kids up. I cannot wait! No one knows about this. Well, except for the car yard rofl...

Thanks yogi :) it will definitely come in handy when we go down the snow again. No more snow chains :)

Hey girls! I'm checking in after a two week break. I was kind of bummed after last month's BFN so decided to take a little break from the boards to quell my Martha madness during the first part of my cycle. I think I'm 1dpo as I had a bit of a temp rise this morning. Had our attempt 2 days ago on CD14. Had a +opk on CD14 and looks like I O'd on CD15 like most of my cycles. We'll see. Not feeling too optimistic at this point. Cycle #5 of TTC for me.

Boysway
September 8th, 2014, 04:31 AM
yogi, fingers crossed you get your +OPK soon. It really can be a guessing game. Just look at my charts as a perfect example. Ovulation day regularly changes for me. Symptoms, possibly. Unfortunately my pms and pregnancy symptoms can he quite similar and I don't get the same pms symptoms every time. However, my bbs are very sore. Miss 4 laid on them last night and I had to move her because they hurt too much. I've been really ditsy lately as well which is a sign for me. In saying that, I have worked 7 shifts in a row (#8 tonight) so it could be tiredness causing me to be ditsy. I have been breathless easier then usual as well. So, who knows. I'm only 7dpo anyway so I highly doubt implantation will have occurred if I am pregnant anyway.

I'm absolutely stuffed. Thankfully I knocked over most shift duties last night. There are two staff on nightshift where I am so I might be naughty and try to sneak in a nap. I had thought extra tiredness may be a symptom as I do get it when pregnant. I guess I'll know either way in a week :)

Technically I am still in the 2ww although I am certain af is around the corner. It is difficult, just keep thinking of your goal at the end. There is a 50/50 chance of getting that successful bfp so you're best to air on the side of caution and continue with the diet. That way you won't be kicking yourself if you aren't successful getting that bfp.

I have quite honestly blown my diet and just can't be bothered with eating today. That's more to do with my self pity/depression at the high chance of being unsuccessful this month. I've had a can of coke zero (which I NEVER drink) and a lick of banana cake batter and it's 2:25 pm where I am.

I'm 7dpo today and still doing good on diet. I think I'm just used to it by now (started back in February). We bought an old fashioned popcorn machine for DS1's movie night birthday party last month and I've been eating popcorn every day now. It's super low in calories (no butter) and I have a variety pack of popcorn seasonings to put on it. I don't snack on it, but instead eat it at the end of lunch and dinner. :)

Hi ladies, I've started attempting every 4 days last night (I'm ready to get pg again ASAP so I will be adding an additional attempt at positive OPK if it's been 3 days). I'm definitely losing steam on the diet after being on it since April (essnce - February, WOW, impressive) and taking the 20 days off while I was pg. Hard to go back to being hungry 24/7 ! I'm not eating meat or snacking, but I'm definitely eating more calories and fat than I'm supposed to. I'm doing great on the cardio - still doing 60 minutes, 7 days a week so at least there's that.

I'm so sorry I haven't seen more BFPs from you guys, I've been so excited to see a BFP from many of you (boysway, essnce, yogi, sorry if I missed anyone). I hope we all get pg soon, there are too many of us that have been on these boards waiting for way too long. :)

Dropping in to say hello and to see how everyone is doing :) I am honestly trying not to synptom spot but I have been feeling somewhat strange as of yesterday. Today mostly but I was very nauseated yesterday with some mild cramping but today the cramping is a bit stronger and my boobies are tingly and with some minor stabbing pains. I hope this is a good sign. Is it possible to start feeling symptoms as early as 5 dpo?

I have been absent from this group for a while, I was taking a break from swaying last month, and didn't want to be all "Martha-y" about it. Thankfully, stepping away from the boards made the time go a little faster than it otherwise would have. Of course, in the month I was gone, my sister had a baby, my grandmother passed away, DH turned 40, and DS1 got sick, so perhaps I was just too busy to notice that I didn't have time to focus on swaying....

I am so sorry boysway about the BFN... it sucks when those start piling up... and you worked so hard this month too... fingers crossed for next month!

Congrats, essence! It was a long road, but you FINALLY got your sticky bean!!

Yogi, I am keeping my fingers crossed for you. I have no idea about early symptoms, and I am always cautious about reading too much into them because I end up disappointed in the end.... but hopefully that is not the case for you. Sending all my blue dust your way!

DH and I are going to do the every 4 day thing this month because I have a UTI and the meds might mess up the OPK test results and I don't want to miss out on getting in an attempt this month (this is the 3rd month TTC for us) and I have been on the LE diet for almost 6 months now, so it is getting OLD.... tonight is the first attempt (at CD11)... fingers crossed....

Thanks everyone, it is nice to be back and I'm hoping for a BFP this month! I'm dropping both the Sylk and the RepHresh because AS thinks those don't sway all that well in the end and thinks they really interfere with getting preggo. So hopefully this will be our month. I know that the chinese gender calendar and the moon stuff probably don't make a real difference, but if we conceive this month, it will perfect timing for both. O will be close to the new moon and this is the last month that the Chinese calendar says I will get a girl for many months. And of course, I'm sick right now..... so to the extent that being sick (again in 3 weeks) lowers my maternal condition, horray for coughs and colds! We shall see.....

Welcome back Nahri--sorry to hear that AF reared her ugly head again. Whenever that happens, I try to be inspired to really focus on the LE diet because I know what a critical part of the swaying strategy that is and tell myself that having another cycle is another opportunity to be super good and really help my sway goals. It doesn't always work (I'm a bit of a LE cheater), but it gets me back on track for a while. Good luck for this month!!

Just a quick vent from me.

Since dh takes tablets to assist with bd it's not always so easy to be romantic. Anyway, so I asked dh yesterday if he would be keen for tomorrow morning. He was keen. Fast forward to this morning, he chooses to go a fly his quadcopter (like a remote control helicopter) with mates :( No attempt at bd whatsoever. Then he wonders why I'm not happy!

Bummer Boysway:(
Dhs tend to do crap like that. They will act like bding was never brought up or do things they normally don't do when its time. I know from experience where my dh has done something to try and get out of bding. I hope he gets on board soon. I am sorry you are having to go through this. I swear if women could get pregnant without men at all we would have this all planned out. Good luck to you Boysway!

I'm pretty sure my period is on it's way.
I'm in one hell of a mood today. I feel my Agro self before my period sometimes. Today I've been in a funk all day. No reason for it what so ever! Which then made me mad with myself.
I took the kids to the show. Rather than looking at the positives I looked at all the negatives. In the Arvo I told the boys to play in their bedroom because I didn't want them to see or even feel the negativity and anger that was building up in me. Hubby finally called and I felt a bit better. But after talking to him for a second time we got into a heated argument where I just yelled =( it followed by tears and a sorry from me.
I can already tell this period is going to be an emotional one.

I hope you're all going well and all ha a lovely weekend !!! Sorry for the vent/downer

OMG, boysway, I would be so frustrated with DH. And if that was your window, I would practically be ready to kill! That is beyond words annoying! Fingers crossed you didn't miss the window this month.

CherryBlossom, sorry to hear that you are feeling miserable.... hopefully it is early signs of BFP and not AF.... keep us posted.

As for me, I made my attempt at midnight on Saturday night. It was a little closer together than 4 days apart, but I wanted to make sure we got an attempt in before O. This is month #3 for us, so I backed off some things this time, but I think this is still a pretty good sway:

1. 1 attempt right before O (i'm guessing probably within 12-20 hours of O)
2. LE since April 1, 2014.
3. Fiber with most meals since April 2014
4. No prenatal since April 2014, except for folic acid
5. Zyrtec a few hours before attempt
6. Left side sleeper, no jump and dump, and went to bed right after attempt, so everything had plenty of time to marinate (haha).
7. Vitex and Saw Palmetto until CD14
8. Aspirin
9. Negative Ions (I have an air purifier in the bedroom, I got my nails done on the day of attempt, and I put on lavender lotion before attempt), however I did play on my computer a few hours before attempt, so maybe that undid all the negative ions..... hmmm..
10. Almost a new moon (3 days)
11. Chinese gender calendar says this month will be a girl for me (I don't really believe this sways, but hey, I like that it goes with everything this month).

I really, really, really hope this month works for us. I feel like the stars aligned to make it happen. My best girlfriend is preggo and I would love to be preggo at the same time as her. Plus, with my grandmother passing on the day AF started this cycle, it sort of feels like a whole "circle of life" if I get preggo on this cycle, like she will sort of be here in the new baby or something.... I don't know.... or it could just be that I am ready to get pregnant already and I'm reading way too much into things.... hahahaha....

Good luck to all the ladies waiting for their BFP!!

Cherry - I'm so sorry and I hope you are wrong! AF coming while swaying is the absolute worst!

What is the negative ions thing? I didnt catch it😁
And what about the computer?

Christi
September 22nd, 2014, 06:06 PM
Negative Ions are supposed to sway pink, while positive ions sway blue. The new moon supposedly puts more negative ions into the air, as does anything that purifies the air (plants, air purifiers, etc..). For some reason, nail polish also has negative ions as well (though it seems contradictory to me).

Computers, on the other hand, are super positive ion emitters, so in my case, I may have counteracted the benefit from the negative ions by plopping my laptop on my lap for a few hours....

Had my attempt last night and boy was it interesting. Took forever....lol. girls are supposed to be more difficult right?! So I barely have a sway....all I did was the one attempt and my dh took ole but I also had the miscarriages bavk to back and barely any ewcm at all which is so different for me and I have been super sick too with a respiratory thing of sorts. My chances for a girl though are probably pretty low so I won't hold out much hope.

Hey ladies. Lovely to read some BFP news from some of you. We're DTD every four days and still no AF since I stopped BF over two months ago, so who knows what my body is doing! I've had tummy aches the last few days but don't know what that means. Patience is a virtue!

Providing everything matches up, looks like I'm in the 2ww, second attempt for September. +OPK yesterday. Attempt yesterday morning and last night. It was a push to get dh to bd last night but, it eventually happened. Dh wasn't keen this morning though :( I hope yesterday was enough.

Hopefully we timed it right. The cycle I fell pregnant with Miss 4 we bd the morning of the +OPK and the following morning.

This cycle we either bd or dh released on CD 7, 10, 14 then our attempts yesterday morning and afternoon. I wasn't expecting O to happen till Tuesday. I hope we didn't blow our chances with the release on CD 14.
