Can't decide wich is best for my pink sway.
Metamucil seems to lower cholesterol...i am Young&healthy and dont have promlems with high cholesterol. But my T-Levels are probably high...is metamucil good for high t Levels?

I would ask a gp perhaps? Lowering cholesterol will lower testosterone but I don't know which medication is best sorry. I think the diets include foods that help lower cholesterol too don't they? Xx

I don't know about how it pertains to your health, but chitosan is a fat absorber and Metamucil (or at least the Target generic of it) contains aspartame, so I chose to take one before lunch, and the other before dinner to kind of compromise and get the benefits of both in my pink sway. It also offsets the cost since Metamucil is comparatively cheap.

Testosterone is MADE out of cholesterol. you do not need to have high cholesterol to have high testosterone and nor does high cholesterol mean you DO have high testosterone.
Either Metamucil or Chitosan are both fine, they do the same thing

They're both fat absorbers really though. Even tho they are marketed differently, they do the same thing. Nothign to do with the aspartame, it's the ability of the fiber to suck up the fats and fat soluble nutrients from foods you are eating.

Question about fiber. I've been taking Benefiber for a few days now and it's actually making me kind of constipated. Does fiber lower estrogen by making you have more bms? If so, I'll try increasing my water intake to see if I can get this Benefiber working.

it absorbs fats and fat soluble nutrients and then it carries them away so your body can't digest it. WE don't know exactly how it works.
yes, you need to drink more water when you start the fiber. Also I would start with a lower dose and then work up from there. You don't necessarily need the max dose.

I just bought some psyllium husk in the organic supermarket. It seems to work same as chitosan. but my main worry is now... when do I take it. If I take it with supps they don' t work anymore. I only eat two meals a day and take Vitex now at night....
