Hello Everyone,
Mum of three lovely boys, I live in England. Like many of you, I am wishing for a daughter to complete our family and So i have spent the last month reading all your amazing posts and familiarised myself with all the various sway techniques.
I'm 39 and I feel there's no time to waste so my TTCG will start with my new cycle in a few weeks.
I am on the LE diet for 10 days now. I have already lost some weight and feel it would not be healthy for me to lose too much as I'm already very thin, also I'm still breastfeeding my 11 mo. The LE diet is opposite to my usual diet and it feels like a major sway for me.
I'm taking folic acid and cranberry supp.
We are planning FR and 2or 3 attempts but I'm worried we will miss O as I'm not sure i know exactly when O happens. (And can't afford time wise to track several cycles).
Would it still sway pink if we FR for 10 days and DTD throughout ?
I'm trying not to get too obsessed with it all but that's hard !lol.
Looking forward to be part of the community.

Hello and welcome :)
Are you using opks? If so, the best pink results are from one attempt at positive opk
Good luck!

Hi and welcome!
Frequent BD (daily starting after AF thru O) is believed to sway pink but I think we have best results for conception and for pink, with one BD at positive OPK.

I do not recommend cranberry while breastfeeding and I do want you to understand you don't need to lose weight on LE Diet, you can do LE and it still helps your sway even if you do not lose any more weight.

Thank you for your warm welcome and advice!
After reading more on BD and diet etc... I think I have now got my plan.
LE diet : about 5 weeks before 1st BD attempt (very strict on skipping breakfast, peppermint tea and low fat)
Supp: Folic acid only
Extra: Zyrtec 11hrs before BD, RepHresh 3days before BD
DTD: FR + 1 BD attempt at +OPK (or 2- O not sure yet what the difference is?)
And a lot of Faith !
What do you think?
Also I read that FR for 7-10 days but what if its longer? Does it matter?
Thank you so much in advance

I would consider magnesium and calcium supplements too I think? And licorice root for hubby. What about vitex? Olive leaf seems to be having good results for hubby too xx

I did consider those but thought as my first attempt is only a few weeks away, it would not be long enough to have any impact? And also I read (somewhere on this site) that supp cal-mag supp could sway blue? Sorry maybe I'm confusing myself ....so much information to sieve through!

normally I never check back with introductions but just happened to read this, in future I would start a thread in Gender Swaying because that is where I focus my energy most days.
Plan looks good to me!!
The difference between pos OPK and O-2 is that it's easier to DTD at pos OPK and also best odds of conception with swyaing. YOu kinda have to guess at O-2 and then have a couple panicked days where you hope that you're actually going to ovulate when you thought you were!
Re FR - i think we see best odds of conception and husband compliance with 7-10 days. when it gets longer than that, eventually he ends up shooting nothing but dust and also guys may end up skipping days and/or unable to perform when it comes time for the one attempt. It sucks to have to waste a month if DH can't manage to "complete the transaction"!

I personally think cal-mag sways blue and the best study ever done on maternal diet pre-pregnancy showed higher intake of cal-mag in moms who went on to conceive boys. I have a really long set of essays about that here: http://genderdreaming.com/forum/trying-conceive-girl/610-calcium-conundrum-controversial.html This is a three parter with links in the first one to the other two
