My husband has agreed to take the vitamins (OLE and LR) and cut back on red meat, but I'm pretty sure he still wants to lift weights and eat clean (a lot of the boy diet) as he is most concerned with having a healthy baby. How much of a role do our husbands play in this and what are the main things for our husband to do that give us the best chance of a girl?

I know there are many women's who's husbands wouldn't do a thing and still had successful sways so although whatever he will do is a plus, it's still possible to do it without him (well, you do need him for some of it ;))

Unsatisfying answer - we honestly don't know.
Nutrients sway way way more for you because YOU are the one who has carry a baby for 9 months and nurse it for another 9 months and raise it to adulthood whereas males can do a "hit and run" and nutrients for them are reaally a lot less important to the survival of their offspring than it is for you.
I htink most proven things for DH to do are the LR, biking or jogging, and sticking to the one attempt. I wouldn't worry about anything beyond that or even that much if he won't do it.
