Saline U/S at OB/GYN office?

My RE wants me to have a saline u/s to view the uterus and tibes. Can I have this done at my OB/GYN to save $$? Can it be performed therefore coded for another reason besides IVF?

YES! I did all pretesting at my OB who filed it on insurance for me! All covered!

Even without having any infertility coverage? What did they code the saline U/S procedure under or for? Can my GYN do a mock transfer as well? Just wondering how much I can do with her to have some coverage....as we are going to be paying out of pocket for our cycle....uhg!!

No the mock transfer- you want your RE to do that anyway. They coded mine under diagnostic. It was all covered. I did not have Infertility coverage either.
