I have 1 16mo DS. I DESPERATELY want a DD. DH and I hope to TTC pink this spring/summer. TELL ME EVERYTHING! How can I get the girl of my dreams? I really want it to work this time. I don't want more than 2 kids!
I still BF DS about 3-5 times a day.

I'm not interested in purchasing. I would love to talk to people though.
Should I wean or still BF? I haven't had my first PP period yet. Does that matter? How can I track ovulation I I'm not having a period? Is shettles method a good idea, or is that pretty much not believed anymore?
What about the LE diet? What foods are good? What foods should I avoid?
What are the basic TTC girl "rules"? Dos and donts?

Well, you have to spend some time reading on here then to create a plan for yourself. Start with the LE diet explanation here- http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gender-swaying-general-discussion/32980-genderdreaming-method-trying-girl-le-diet-information.html

There are tons of posts in the General Swaying Forum that can help you. Also, check out some of the Members' posted sways to see what they did.

If you don't have AF yet, you cannot know IF nor WHEN you may ovulate at all so if you don't ovulate, you can't have a baby! Until you get your cycle back, it will be difficult to know when you may drop an egg and have a chance to conceive a child.

Shettles has been disproven.

In the link in my signature below, there is a link to the Complete Index (you need to copy and paste it into your browser bar) and I have dozens of essays that answer all these various topics. Then after reading them I can answer any questions you have. :)

Thank you ladies.
Atomic, what science backs up sway theories? I've heard shettles was disproven, but what about this other stuff? Maternal diet seeeeems like there might be something to that, but I'm skeptical. If I'm reading the info correctly, simply lowering my food intake to as little as possible (starvation diet?) and doing lots of cardio (Insanity workout, anyone?) should sway the odds in favor of me having a girl. You seem to have been here a while, what have you personally seen as far as someone achieving their goal?
Any truth to the claims that once you have a DS you are more likely to have another DS?

LE us NOT a starvation diet. If you starve yourself you will not ovulate and then there's no chance of pregnancy. It's simply decreasing your intake because numerous studies have shown girl moms ear fewer cals overall and that decreased maternal condition and decreased fertility sways pink.

People spend months and sometimes years reading all the info on this site and planning their sway. If you get a dream membership you can see a forum with lots of studies and that's only $12 for a year. I know you said you didn't want to spend the money on a personalized plan but it's only $79 and atomic us amazing and it really will give you a great shot at pink! I've been researching 2.5 years and still want to buy a plan just to pick atomics brain!!

Most of my essays contain links to studies in them. :) You can also use Google Scholar to look up studies both pro and con - but I do recommend having a go at the essays first because they are going to explain a lot.

A starvation diet is NOT an option. That is NOT the point of LE Diet and we have had nothing but disaster after disaster when people cut back below the lower limits of LE Diet. The lower limits of the LE Diet are more important than the upper limits are.

We have about 68% success rate with over 200 respondents in sample size following LE Diet and about 90% including exercise with a sample size of 29 (I suspect these people were also doing diet so if you do just exercise, may be lower results - I think this is LE Diet + exercise results really). So a diet and exercise combo has worked for a lot of people.

At the same time, our blue swayers who do HE Diet get about 75-80% success for boys, so it is reasonable to assume that some pink swayers are going from as much as 80% likely to have a boy, to 65% and up, likely to have a girl. :)

I've done research into swaying for 6 years and seen tons of successes and also some opposites. If you can't accept the potential of an opposite you should look into high tech options.

No, there is no real truth to the idea that once you have one DS you are more likely to have another DS. There is a miniscule statistical boost but it's still super close to 50-50. You can read the particulars here http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gender-swaying-general-discussion/762-statistics-question-anybody-know.html

BF sways pink, so I wouldn't quit. Maybe take vitex to get your first PPAF? LE diet for 3 months plus exercise and fiber supplements seems to be the way to go for the best results, but atomic's right... opposite's are always possible, even with a perfect sway.

Best advice here is sit when you have a few spare hours and read everything inc all posted sways. I did this and then from there got my plan together. Look at the stats too. I started my sway plan back in Aug and have still changed bits this last few months. We are just on our first ttc cycle now. I like you have on DS and we only want 2 children x

Atomic, I hope this isn't a rude question, but you seem very well-spoken and knowledgeable about research. What's your educational background? You speak like someone that has had to do research analysis in grad school, (I have an MA) so some of what you describe is very reminiscent of research methods courses.
HT isn't for me. I researched it a bit, and feel like it isn't for me. Very expensive, and the technology seems too new for my comfort. I decided to research swaying, but we are not going to even attempt TTC unless DH and I both agree a second DS is NOT a disappointment. DH is supportive of whatever I want to do. I had a bit of gender disappointment with DS, so I'm not going to do anything until I am positive I feel comfortable with 2 boys. I feel like I'm there, but I want to be SURE, so I am giving myself some time. (And researching swaying in the meantime).
What's the low end of the LE diet? What would you suggest for me? I'm a decent weight, but about 10lbs heavier than I like to be. I'm super short (4'11 and about 95-100lbs is a good weight for me, pre-pregnancy). I don't eat red meat,.
I love citrus fruit, especially grapefruit and oranges. Should I avoid citrus to sway pink?
How does cranberry work to sway? I've found some 100% pure unsweetened cranberry juice, and it's super bitter, but I actually like the taste! I see on here that most don't. LoL!
Where can I read about Breastfeeding and swaying? DS is 16mo and I really don't want to BF him past 2. (Women that do, that's awesome, and I admire the but it's just not for me). He doesn't BF at night at all, just 5 or so times a day between 4am and 7pm. Would you reccomend I wean, or use it as a sway tactic? I'm all for BFing him longer if it would increase the odds of a girl!
Things that might interest you about DS: I read through some blue swayed a tactics and I was apparently swaying blue without knowing it! Right around when DS was conceived I gained 10lbs! I was eating a good bit of high protein (lots of egg and cheese sandwiches and warm milk with honey). The month we conceived was also the first month we used PreSeed. (It was our 5th month trying). In your experience, does PreSeed seem to sway blue?

Preseed does sway blue.... Read the following attachment http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gender-swaying-general-discussion/1134-lure-lubes.html. You can also see there what is said to sway pink. .....Cranberry answer found here http://genderdreaming.com/forum/ttc-girl-best-practices/7086-how-lower-ph-via-supps-cran-baby-aspirin-aspartame-other-techniques.html. Best place to start reading is here. http://genderdreaming.com/forum/trying-conceive-girl/23588-ttc-girl-library.html .... Lots of great info

I'm just a smart girl who had a hard life as a kid, ended up in a less than ideal set of circumstances but didn't let it stop me from pursuing things I'm interested in. :) Actually a benefit in many ways for an amateur scientist, because I have the freedom and lack of preconceived notions, to come at things from a different direction at times.

What I want you to do first, before I start answering specific questions, is to follow that link in my signature there and take a gander at some of the essays. Pretty much everything you've asked is in there. It really isn't possible due to lack of time, for me to start over at Ground Zero and explain every sway tactic to every person, and that is why I have the essays. Then at that point, anything that is not clear, I am happy to explain/discuss. :)
