What about using Emma for the baby's middle name?

Would a variation like Emmie, Emilia or Emily work?

What about using Emma for the baby's middle name?

She will have my mom's name as a middle name. So she would be Emma something, Krisanthi!

What about emmalynn as her first name and you could call her Elle, with the el in the name. I think elle is so cute but you still have the Emma. Might be stretching it but it would work.
I will have to post for help for girl names too. It's hard but fun!

My BFF has named her DD Elle lol All the good names most of my friends have them so now I have to find my own name...I didn't have such a hard time with my boys either and when we were thinking this one was a boy, we found the name in a heartbeat!!!! With a girl, not so much lol

Girl names are the hardest! Emma is pretty common where I live. What about Amelia, but you could spell it Emilia? Or is that weird? I don't know.

I don't know, I am so torn I am thinking of finding another name for this little one and instead of using Emma to use my MIL's middle name instead!

So, give me your best non traditional spelling of traditional names lol Does that even make sense?

So let me get this straight, you are having your first daughter and you have to name her after both your MIL and Mother??

I don't have to really name her after my mother. I would like to name her after my MIL because she doesn't have a namesake. My sister already has a girl and has named her after my mother but my MIL has only 1 granddaughter and she is almost 17-18 years old. I am also half Greek so it's our tradition to name our kids our parent's name :)

To be honest I never thought I would have a DD so never gave a name a second thought. I am still not 100% sure it's a girl (everyone else seems to think I am from my u/s and video) waiting for a confirmation before being set on a name so it's in the thinking process lol

The name I really liked but no one else did LOL was Emmajean. Imogene is kind of trendy right now but I just didn't care for the spelling of that so I came up with Emmajean instead. Also two awesome X-Men, Emma Frost and Jean Gray.

There is also a beach in Washington State that is called Joemma Beach and I thought that would be a nice name too.

Joemma could be short for Josephine Emma, which I think is pretty name!
