I think I didn´t ovulate this month.
I usually O on day 11 or 12, I was very dry but got some EWCM with the lady cup, got a fade OPK and a raise but now my temps dropped again.
I get a neg OPK every day and my CM is firm and closed.
This is really depressing me since the only reason I´m able to stick to the diet is the thought of my attempt end of June, first days of July. I feel like my ovaries got broken. I´ve been doing the low everything diet for about 2 months (started slowly and had one cheat weekend 3 weeks ago).
I´m now down to 109 pounds, lost 16 pounds. I thought I would still ovulate on this weight. Although my arms look like the ones of an eating disorder person, my BMI is 18, it´s not underweight yet.
As for supplements I´m only taking Saw palmetto and I took it from AF to CD7 because taking it up to O made me have a lot of EWCM last month.
Did any of you girls ever had a anovulatory cycle and did you O the next?
Do you all think I should upp my calories or fat?
Man, I need a patient supplement!

I think Atomic says to add calories with carbs, not with fat.

Personally, I don't think doing the hardcore dieting works well for my body. I mostly skip breakfast, although I had a little something today because I have to drive a long distance, stay away from red meat, and eat small portions. If you aren't ovulating then your body needs more calories, and you need to do what is best for you body.

I had one confirmed anovulatory cycle and one that I wasn't tracking but I am 99% sure I didn't ovulate. I did ovulate the subsequent cycles.

Remember, your health is number 1~

I'm sorry, Indira - that must be so disappointing. I know what you mean about putting all your hopes into getting your BFP that first month - I know I would be so frustrated if I didn't ovulate. You're making me think I should try harder to add more calories since I'm averaging only 1000-1200 a day and I'm due to ovulate early next week. Good luck, and I hope O decides to arrive a little later than usual rather than waiting another whole month!

Thanks both, I´m going to have bigger portions of rice and gluten free pasta and have a little fruit with my meals.
Also I have to find a way to chill out, I´m way to obsessed, think about this sway all day long (not doubting what to do but just think about the fact I´m dieting and will TTC soon)
My problem is the only way for me to really relax is to eat unlimitedly, the restriction makes me feel so strained that I´m counting the days I might get a BFP and losen up. Maybe being on holiday will help, we´re leaving saturday for 2 weeks.

Stress could probably delay or prevent ovulation. It sounds like you're being far too harsh on yourself with the diet, I hope you work it out!

Yes swish, I´m going to loosen up my diet and find a way to get back at just being excited and happy about having a third child.

So sorry to hear that you had an anovulatory cycle. Those are extremely frustrating! :hair: I've had one of those. Just recently I had a fake surge and DTD. Then 7 days later my body decided to REALLY ovulate and I missed it!!! So I'm missed out this month.

I'm sure your body will try to O next cycle. I probably wouldn't lose any more weight though. My FX'ed are crossed for you and I that we have a decent cycle!

Thanks pastelpicnic, that´s reassuring. I´m sorry you missed out this month, that really sucks!
I guess now I know I shouldn´t go under 50 chilo´s (110 lbs). I´m preparing a bigger portion of pasta with brown sugar for lunch right now
Not ovulating helped me to take some deep breaths and loosen up a bit, I´m allowing myself more treats now and have showers, bought some books to read in bed, do relaxing breathing and do cross-stitch to relax and avoid obsessing over my sway and getting my testosteron up.
FX for all of us!

YAY!!! I recently thought that I had had an anovulatory cycle as well, but to my amazement on cycle Day 25 I started to get ewcm and slightly darker opk. Day 26-more ewcm, soft cervix and almost + opk. Day 27 DARK OPK and very soft cervix, tons of ewcm!! YAY! So that was yesterday...and now I'm just hoping to feel my body actually O soon! So keep your fingers crossed....it could just happen much later than you think :D

Good Luck!!

Indira, I may be having the same issue you are/were experiencing...I'm currently in the 2ww but I'm now calling it the 2w-fake b/c I don't know whether or not I O'd. Per Fertility Friend, it said I probably O'd on cd26 but I never got a +OPK, just some color. I haven't got +OPKs for two cycles (AF only came back 3 cycles ago). My body is all out of whack and if I'm not preggers, I guess I will start to eat more. I'm 110 now but when I was about 105 to 108, I would only get AF about 6x per year. I thought it was great b/c I was young (& stupid) and not TTC. I'm hoping gaining a lb or 2 will help me O...??? I haven't been stressing about swaying, luckily, so I think weight is my problem. I'm really hoping you're Oing and that a little relaxation is your ticket. :HH:

Thanks all!
FX doula mama!
My OPK is negative, but I have a hard time getting positives every month, anyway maybe it will take some more time to O. I´m not TTC this time since I took a mega doses of acid folic, Atomic advised me to wait, but I´m so happy I seem to not be broken lol! I´m more relaxed about the diet and all now anyway so I can wait untill July

Losing weight can cause you to not ovulate one month but your ovulation will just come back in subsequent months. It is totally normal to miss a month of ovulation here and there and that is actually a very good sign that your fertility is somewhat reduced which is what you want for a girl.

I saw on another thread that you were eating very little fat, so feel free to increase that amount to 20-30% of your day's calories.

A lot of people keep right on ovulating at low caloric intake. Don't change a thing until you know for sure that you're not Oing (although of course I prefer everyone to stick to the 1500-1800 calories) because I don't want for your body to think, wow, extra calories all of a sudden and inadvertently sway blue.

You can def. get pg having AF only 6 times a year and that may be a girl-friendly place to be.

The stress factor is HUGE when it comes to ovulating. People have late O's all the time eating perfectly normally, just due to stress.

Also, saw palmetto has kept some people from Oing when they expected to, so it may not necessarily have anything to do with diet at all.

Thanks for your answers, Atomic, just saw them now as I was away on holiday for 2 weeks.

I wanted to update for people who may read this in the future: I did ovulate in the end, 8 days later than usual.
Af showed up yesterday, I´m very happy, I´m now in my first attempt cycle
Now I have to concentrate on that relaxation part again, having my computer back it´s so tempting to be on here all evening instead.
