I've been reading a lot of your posts about GD and I basically could of wrote them myself! Having my 3rd boy and suffering badly with gd it just won't go away. I keep saying to myself, if I pray ever night until the baby comes maybe the penis will go back inside and form a clitorus by the time baby is born! Can you all give an opinion of whether you think I have any chance they got the gender wrong in my scan this scan was taken at 16w 0d 17162

I am sorry you are hurting. We usually like to see regular ultrasound images for gender- typically, 3D/4D is not used to verify gender. Your scan does look like a penis is there though.

I'm sorry you're going through this. Those pictures clearly show a little boy. I love how clear they are...so sweet!

It's so hard, just when I thought I was ok (I'm 24 weeks now) yesterday it all came back without notice I seen a mum brushing a little girls hair and wanted to burst out into tears!
When will it go away and stay away?
My sons are 5 and 3, we alwAys said we would have 3 children but if I am totally honest with myself right now, if I had known number 3 would be a boy too I probably would of stuck to just the two boys! I feel evil for even saying that but I feel like this is the only place I can say how I truly feel without being judged :-(

We will have little boys the same age! When will you find out the sex of number 4? X

And the most annoying thing is, we did the shettles method to conceive a girl, it took us a lot longer to conceive that it did with the boys and I completely avoided ovulation.
I wasn't sick, and I was with the previous 2, I put on a lot more weight that I ever did with the other 2, I fancied different food types than I did with the boys, there were so many things pointing to girl. And then we go for gender scan and see a willy. It was like someone had ripped my guts out and I cried for days!

Oh Louisawilliams37 I'm so sorry you didn't hear girl at your scan :( I think a lot of us can relate to how you are currently feeling! Can I ask did you change your diet aswell as shettles? Or did you just do shettles? I unintentionally did shettles when ds2 was conceived (clearly didn't work haha) bit this time I didn't worry about timing at all and just completely changed our diet/lifestyle.....tho I have a strong feeling this is boy #3 for me too!! I truly hope you can come to peace with your newest addition and I'm sure once you have him in your arms you will wonder how you ever felt this way....big hugs your way xo

Sorry you didn't hear girl, but believe someone who has 3 boys, as soon as that little one is in your arms, you will love him so much you won't even remember how bad it felt to find out he was not a girl. Hugs! x
