We were blessed with a perfect baby boy October 2012, and I would love to have another baby boy in the future but for baby number 2, we are definitely hoping for a lil princess!! I downloaded the baby girl cookbook by Tamara and I'm currently taking calcium and magnesium supplements.. Does anyone have any other tips to sway pink, even old wives tales???
Thaaanksss!! :)

The Gender Dreaming method of swaying is pretty different from the IG method. Most of us don't take cal/mag supps and we don't generally watch pH or have forbidden foods. Check out

Welcome! I agree with the above. For my sway, the only thing I'm doing is the LE diet, taking folic acid and drinking aspartame drinks. I'll take antihistamines during my fertile week and we'll make one attempt at +opk after abstaining. There's a wealth of info on here :)

Welcome!
A lot of people are exercising as well I don't know if IG suggests that (only been on there twice)

Welcome! Yeah no need to really do the mag/cal as they add extra nutrients and might give opposites. Check out the complete index on the general sway forum and start there! Atomic is awesome too! One of the few forbidden foods is breakfast cereals since they are fortified with extra nutrients. I'm sooooo happy to be able to eat me a big bowl of cereal again!!

Yes, I'm definitely not taking Ca/Mg either.

For me I'm doing:
LE diet
Zyrtec (daily, AF to +OPK)
Baby aspirin (5 x week)
Fiber (2 x day)
Vitex (1200mg a day, AF to +OPK)
Aspartame (Crystal Light, diet soda, and Yoplait Light)
Folic acid (1000mcg daily)
Cinnamon (daily)
Alcohol (daily, AF to +OPK)
Coffee (daily)
Zero exercise
Rephresh (every 3 days)

DH is doing:
Licorice root
Olive leaf extract
Coffee (pot a day)
Claritin D (daily)

For BD we did:
Abstain for 7 days and 1 attempt at +OPK

I'm in the TWW now (5dpo) so we'll see!

What does alcohol do?

Alcohol lowers fertility so it's thought to sway pink. I like to have a glass of white wine cuz it's full of empty cals.

Esscne-- that is my sway too, except I'm going to do cardio 60 min 6 days a week! Hoping you get a pink bfp!!

Yes I don't think you're supposed to take prenatals until after your BFPmwhen swaying. DO take folic acid.

You really should start by reading the articles. They answer a lot of questions and the better understanding you have as to why this that or the other sways, the easier it is to make decisions on your sway and about various aspects of your life that you might not realize sway blue until you read the articles.

I personally avoided cranberry. I lowered pH with diet coke and diet changes. Cranberry has extra nutrients too but that's up you. It's low nutrient diet not a no nutrient diet. :)

Hi and welcome.

We do a very different type of sway here based on different science, so you are probably going to end up getting some conflicting recommendations - anythign that seems confusing, please ask and I can explain.

No, RepHresh is different stuff.
