OK, moving forward in this huge and exciting project towards ttc pink.
After reading about fiber supps I had o look in my cupboard and found psyllium husk. Is that alright to use instead of fiber in pill form?
If yes, how much should I take? Can I just have it in water and drink it? It swells A LOT so I guess a small amount is to be used?

I have these in my purse for when we're out so I can take them before eating at a restaurant. They're more convenient than chitosan, which you have to take 30 minutes before eating, but less convenient than metamucil if I'm at home. I have to take a handful of those pills to get the same fiber in a spoonful of the psyllium pills. Psyllium is the active ingredient in Metamucil anyway.
If you're sensitive to fiber, starting with one or two psyllium pills is probably what's best for you.

I have a container of fiber that is psyllium husk and my directions say to use one rounded teaspoon full with 8 oz of water before meals. I would assume this kind is fine. If you look to the side of the page at the swaying supplies on Amazon, you will see that Metamucil is one of the products listed and it is psyllium husk in powder form.

yes it's fine, it is a common allergen tho so if you start noticing a rash then that should be your first suspect.

Thanks! I have eaten it quite a lot before (when doing low carb, used it for almost everything!) so I hope I'll be ok when drinking it too. Dooesn't sound very taste, but I'll give it a try :D
