I went to a playgroup and started talking to a very nice mom with two boys and an infant daughter (I'm RIDICULOUSLY drawn to moms who have my dream family!) After a while, I expressed my GD and she smiled and said "Oh, I know it sounds silly, but the Chinese gender chart really works!" She said it was accurate for all of her kids, and when I told her it wasn't at all for either of my boys, she just nodded. Then I told her about swaying techniques, including exercise and LE diet and she really perked up. After I went into some detail, she said,

"Really?! That would make so much sense because my DD was an oops. I was desperate to lose weight from the last two pregnancies, I'd never dieted before, and I figured if I was going to be done with building my family, I wasn't going to be fat anymore. I basically ate nothing but steamed vegetables, brown rice and skinless chicken breasts, and I was going to the gym everyday, sometimes twice a day! DH and I got drunk one night and I was pissed that I'd gotten pregnant until we found out she was my girl."

How's that for another real-life "How we made our girls?!"

I love these. I have spoke to a few who now realise they may have unintentionally swayed. So interesting and I certainly believe looking at the TTC girl forums it's why I have my two DD's. The exercise was a definite factor for DD1 conception.

Chinese gender calendar was wrong for both my boys. I didn't include exercise or alcohol in my failed sway but if I sway again I am going to include both!!

Chinese Calender was wrong for DD1 and right for DD2. I wonder if it's one of those power of persuasion things.

chinese gender predictor is just coincidence. Just by virtue of random luck, in any group there would be people who it's right for, people who it's wrong for, and then some who it was right/wrong for in different combos.

I love it. One of my good friends has two boys and got a girl, and the only thing she did differently was she started running. Another one for exercise! :)

This certainly motivates me more to try exercise. I don't want to but it would so be worth it

I couldn't say it was a definite sway but I was trying to lose weight whilst trying to conceive DD1 so was eating less and had joined the gym lol
