Hi this is my first post here! I just had my first scan yesterday and the tech said she thinks it looks like a girl! We spent 10 minutes getting good shots of the nub! Anyways it seems kinda long and big? And im having some doubts =/ 1726117262

In the second pic it looks like a split in the end of the nub..... Oh and 11 weeks 6 days!

is it normal for a girl nub to be so thick and long?

Girl- they do tend to be longer than boy nubs. It's very flat now but there is potential to rise since it's still early. Would guess girl though 60/40

Thanks! I have 2 boys and i don't want to get too excited. I was only supposed to be 11w 3 days but baby was measuring 11w 6d Im not sure if that makes a difference? I do get another ultrasound on friday. I should be 13 weeks. I am super worried this nub is gonna rise =/

Boy I think. The nub looks stacked and it was before 12 weeks so plenty of time to rise xx

It also ends at the bum whereas many girl nubs extend past it xx

I would guess boy, the nub looks stacked and on the rise for so early. Fingers crossed for pink :)

It's not so polite to post a nub shot on someone else's post... Might cause confusion. I know I'm not a moderator or anything but just thought I'd mention that.

I'm 50/50 as it's still early....but I have everything crossed this is your little girl!! Hopefully you can get a good nub shot at your 13w scan on Friday as that one would be much more reliable :)

I've lost my mind; I'm drawing lines. All I need now is a protractor =)

Now I am confused. I thought boy at first but I see what you intended by drawing the lines, it does look quite parallel to the spine. It can definitely be a girl!

Is a girl nub at 13 weeks pretty accurate? Should it look like its shrinking at that time?? I'm so nervous for tomorrow I hope I get a nice U/S tech!

I could see this one going either way- but it does look more girly at the moment.
