I am TTC a girl, I am really confused though. My BD days were CD10,CD11, and CD12, (missionary no big O for me) I usually have a very regular cycle so I expected CD14 to be my O day but I have been getting nothing but negative opks, today I have noticed white cm but it is not stretchy, it is just thick..Im not sure if im ovulating or not but if I dont by tomorrow then technically my chances of getting pregnant would be low since the last BD day was on the 1st. I have been eating from the girl diet as well but not for nearly as long as most people, about two weeks. I have had no caffeine, no red meat, I am taking calcium and magnesium, raspberry lemonade crystal light, I was taking cranberry pills but stopped taking them yesterday as I found out they can cause miscarraiges if taken after O, and not sure if I have ovulated yet or not. Could the white thick cm mean I am ovulating or does it have to be stretchy? oh also I noticed some pink spotting yesterday and have had some random sharp pains.

I'm guessing you're doing more of an IG or old school sway? Most of us are choosing one attempt at +OPK (getting about 75% pink success, BTW!)

I would keep testing. Sometimes stress means a weird cycle, and few things are more stressful than TTC and swaying. Your CM should eventually be like egg whites, clear and stretchy. If you don't get EWCM, but you do get a +OPK, that's only good for pink!

I actually got a +opk today :) I was trying shettles method but Ive read alot of conflicting stuff and not sure if its too late to try and bd again but I know once you get a +opk you probably wont ovulate for another 12-24 hours so I was thinking of BDing 16 hours after I ovulate if I can actually pinpoint actual ovulation lol. Idk im probably just overthinking everything..I might just be paranoid since the last day I DTD was on the 1st and it might be too far away from actual ovulation to even get pregnant at all

If you're ttc a girl I would bd today. It's recommended here that for a girl you bd once at +opk. From what I've learned, timing doesn't sway.

I've got a lovely little boy who is a shettles opposite. Concieved 4 days before o, shettles has pretty much been debunked unfortunately. Like pp said your sway sounds old-school in-gender style, there's a lot of new info on this site that might be helpful!!

Ok thank you! :) i didnt BD yesterday :/ but i will today and hope for the best, hopefully i havent screwed it up too much..lol if i dont get pregnant this cycle at least i know better for next :)

There is a lot in your sway that is not the way I recommend, but I'll just leave that where it is for now.

I honestly can't tell you if you're ovulating or not, no one can short of an ultrasound tech. You can have creamy CM and be ovulating, but it's a lot less likely. I think your pink spotting may be from checking CM, I have seen that happen several times.

We are getting by far and away best results with one attempt. So I actually hope you AREN'T ovulating, and then all the sperm will have a chance to die off. I would keep testing with OPK and then go for one attempt at pos OPK, that has gotten very good results for us.

Thank you, i was wrong with what i thought was a positive opk..the first line was a tad lighter then the second. I did get a positive opk yesterday (the first line was much darker than the second) and did bd yesterday. I got a negative opk this morning, still sticking to the diet even though it has been extremley hard not to cheat lol. I would think all the swimmers died off from when i was doing thr cutoff since it was 5-7 days before i got my positive opk..i guess at this point all i can do is hope for the best! Thank you ladies

So I never updated..but I am pregnant! had my 12 week ultrasound yesterday and the tech said it is still too early to tell for sure but she has a strong feeling my baby is a girl!!! based on the little "nub" being parallel and not at an angle :) not going out to buy anything yet, but I still think its pretty cool. Anyone else have a 12 week ultrasound with a prediction of a girl baby and then wind up with a girl? :)

Congrats, how exciting!!! I have no clue about u/s pics, but I'm sure someone will chime in. I hope you get your girl!!!!

Oh, and make sure you post your sway in the sway results section. You don't need to know the gender to post your sway.
