Hi
Hubby is on LR. Iknow he should only take it 14 days but I am ov'ing later on this diet noe :( if he stops at cd14 and I dont ov until cd20 would it have lost its effect? Any point taking it?

Should he start it cd5 or later instead? X

I was wondering this too. I know they are only suppose to do 2 weeks so I was thinking about starting hubby a few days after my AF starts. Hmm?

No, it does not lose its effect even if you ovulate later. It has a cumulative effect over time and you don't need to be on it when your attempt comes around, it's still working for you. Not only on the hormones, but because sperm take about 72 days to form so anything in the mix during that time frame can still sway pink.

No, I do not think it's a good idea to start it later, the benefit of doing it exactly the way we do is that it guarantees a nice long break off the stuff - 14 days or more off it is best.

Please just take it in the pattern that has worked for people and don't indulge your inner "martha" obsessing over details.

Are we suppose to have them take it the months before we attempt of only during the ttc months?

I have guys start it about 6 weeks before first planned attempt meaning the cycle before and the cycle OF first attempt. It is our riskiest supp and thus we want to be on it a minimal amount of time. After 6 months, he needs one full month off before starting again.
