1)Are you swaying pink or blue?? Cod liver oil sways blue.
2)Cod liver oil is often said to be unsafe for those TTC because mercury and other toxins accumulate in the liver of the fish and then get into your body and these toxins can cause serious birth defects. Be sure that if you choose to take it, you buy a purified, mercury free brand like http://www.vitacost.com/Carlson-Norwegian-Cod-Liver-Oil-Lemon
3)Also, in addtion to toxins, high levels of Vitamin A (some Vit. A is in the cod liver oil) can also cause birth defects. So if you are planning on taking Cod Liver Oil be sure that you are not taking any other form of supplementary Vit. A. and do not exceed the dosage on the bottle at all ever.

I would stop it now for an attempt in August, although for the record, the Seven Seas brand is purified and toxin-free.
On the Seven Seas website it says not to take it during pregnancy because of the risk of Vit. A overdose. Vit. A can be stored up in your body so that's a good enough reason to stop taking it now, to allow the amount of Vit. A in your body to return to a lower level. http://www.seven-seas.com/cod-liver-oil/faqs

mumomega is a safe source of omega 3 if that's the reason you're taking the cod liver oil. omega 3 can actually smooth out your uterus lining in the follicular phase so implantation is more likely during the 2ww

Thanks RF! Yes, fish oil can def. help with implantation - it's also a blood thinner and blood thinners can make it easier for the fertilized egg to implant in the uterus.
