Ok so my hubby is having surgery and I am about to O according to my chart, I was initially going to skip this month because of Christmas but if Anaesthesia sways pink in a big way well I will go for it this month... So do I skip this month or not. Our diets have been ok, although I wouldn't say LE because we are on a lil swaying break, but we have been good with the red meat and I can over kill with antihistamine and gels low sugar in the following days because seriously going to miss this month anyway.. I just thought well he has to have surgery nothings good about that but maybe it may help something in the sway department. Also how long does it stay in your system...is it going to kill his sperm / lower the count...I know its taxing on his system but how long for and can we keep them spermies taxed IUKWIM and if so how?

Humm I was just reading and it does indeed kill sperm and the effects can last up to 90 days with the sperm completely renewing after that... I also have been doing a bit of reading on cloves and how they are like an anaesthetic... So could chewing on a clove around O time (dh) have enough of an effect on dh's sperm to put the numbers back... also how lemon in the wazoo is a form of contraceptive and is proven to be quiet successful than why has it been taken off the sway list of things to do? I am confused yet again with this swaying stuff?? So for a girl does lowering perm count even sway any more?? Or is it more to to with the "wellbeing" of them sperm and if so they would still have a harder time with the lemon and lime...and lowering the sperm would be twiddling with their well being so therefor should sway but now were using gels because ??? Does the lemon burn the V?

I think you want to lower the sperm count and I believe that the douches are best for keeping pH level in the more acidic level than lime but don't quite me! I say skip this month and go properly next personally xx

My crystal ball is in the shop this week and I just honestly can't tell you guys what to do in situations like this. yes, I believe anesthetic can sway pink but I can't quantify it in a better/worse way or justify it as worth the risk if you don't want to have a Christmas baby.

Diff. anesthetic stays in the system different amounts of time and this can also vary by individual. Anything that happens in the 72 day window can theoretically be taxing to sperm.

I have no idea how much chewing cloves would affect sperm numbers. I suspect it would be a drop in the bucket compared to things like frequency, LR, and hot baths.

No one knows how or why swaying works. All these things, pH, sperm count/health, etc. are all THEORIES. People look at the evidence and guess at what works. But I put safety, biological plausibility, and odds of conception above THEORY. I have seen a lot of messed up stuff with the douching, people getting chemical burns, terrible infections, going years without pregnancy, driving themselves to Martha-levels of insanity monitoring their pH levels, etc etc etc and the at home HT gals on IG got 50-50 and they were douching all the time so it is simply not worth it.

Yes, I believe strongly that lower sperm numbers sway gender. But we have better ways of accomplishing that than douching.

Makes sense.. to go for it this month as we have a definite probability dh's sperm are low in numbers and probably asleep and swimming in circles .... If girls really are the stronger sex just maybe it translates to sperm in a way we can't physically see. I am not hell bent on not having a Chrissy baby just it would be financially easier at that time of year.
