We are currently in our 5th cycle (although there were two cycles were we only hit O, as I was off with the timing so I'm not sure if they count). We are 26 and 27, healthy, no known signs of infertility. I know it's still within the normal time frame, but this month we want to get in more attempts instead of 1-2 like we have been some months. We would like a boy first, and I have been doing a loose sway, however I'm wondering if we BD every 36 hours from CD 8 through O day on CD 16/17, will that lower sperm count too much, and thus sway pink and/or hurt our chances of conceiving? We will be happy with either gender, and at this point I want to up the chances of conceiving while still doing a very loose boy sway.
This is our loose sway
Me:
Prenatals
*Glass of whole milk daily. I read on here it's good for fertility.
*2 glasses of green tea ( I have very little cm, due to the need for claritin daily)
*Have dropped claritin. Will definitely pick this back up after O!
*Pre-seed
*Lots of protein, and I usually follow the HE diet normally
*Yoga- This is my weight bearing exercise.
*Making myself drink lots of water. I normally don't drink that much
*Have cut back on coffee and soda! This is huge for me. I'm an addict!
*One glass of cranberry juice daily. I know this sways pink, but we just got back from the beach for our anniversary, and I tend to get infection from the ocean, so I've been successfully having a glass to ward it off.
DH:
DH was recently diagnosed with a severe Vitamin D deficiency. It was so bad he was blacking out. So, he has been taking prescription Vitamin D, Vitamin B complex, and switched to whole milk as well.
I'm attaching a link (http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/384910) to our chart for an idea of our BD pattern (I don't temp). January was our first month that was actually "decent" timing I think. I use the clearblue fertility monitor, and usually get highs on cd 13-15 and then peak 16 and 17. Fertility Friend says I ovulate on the 17th, but I always wonder if I don't ovulate that first peak day?!?!
Sorry for the novel, any advice would be greatly appreciated!!
