View Full Version : How much can I simplify my sway?

I'm putting together a sway and wrote quite a long post in the ttc a girl section, but now I'm feeling overwhelmed and like its too complicated.
If I get DH taking soy and possibly licorice, Myself taking folic acid and antihistamines (which are best and avalible in the uk?) drinking peppermint tea and drinks like diet soda, cutting down/out meat and not snacking. No breakfast, lower fat versions. And then 1 hour cardio 6-7 times a week. Plus frequent release. Is it possible to do condoms 7-10 days, 1 attempt before O then condoms and a second attempt at O +12? Or is that not a good idea?
Is that enough? Not enough? Is there something I should include? Also what's the easiest way to do cardio with a baby to take care of? I can't go to the gym or anything like that. I walk quite a bit but if say after the school run I went off for an hour long, heart pumping, power walk (lots of hills round here) would this be enough?
I'm trying to minimise the stress over it all, without lowering my chances of success.

Should add, DH is 45 which is the reason for FR.

Some of the simplest sways get girls. For my sway I am going with the things that got the best results. For instance OLE for dh, and that's it.
I opted for a easier sway when at first I wanted to go all in! But I realized the more I added the more stressed I became worrying about things, and that sways blue so it was pointless to me. I hope that helped!
Oh and since you have a baby maybe you would like the Zumba work out DVDs, a lot of women are doing the Leslie sansone DVDs. Or even youtube some of it, just make sure it's 60 minutes.

If you're worried about it, atomic's custom sways are getting good results, and that should take the stress out of it for you.
I would DEFINITELY drop the O+12, and just to the one attempt, since that's been getting all the results. The stricter your sway is, the longer it's likely to take, and you need to decide which tactics are best for you and fit best into your life. My DH wouldn't cooperate, so I'm not giving him any supplements. So, I'm sticking with LE, exercise, folic acid, fiber supps, baby aspirin, one attempt, and excess alcohol/caffeine. Except for the last one, these are getting some of the best results, and I didn't want to add in anything that might stress me out that I didn't need.
Keep the exercise, for sure. Power walking for an hour with your LO sounds like an excellent plan. Make it fast enough that you're sweating, but not so fast/strenuous that you can't keep it up for an hour. Don't worry about heart rate, just do the hour. There are also videos on YouTube you can do while the baby is napping.
Good luck!

What is OLE? Sorry I'm trying to work my way through the whole girl library but haven't covered everything yet. I didn't really do any exercise when I conceived my boys so definitely want that in there, but my youngest is only 5 months at the moment, although I see it's best to start the diet a good 12 weeks in advance.
Hadn't covered the alcohol/caffeine subject yet.
I don't want to have to calorie count and measure out fat etc because it's just so confusing. I downloaded the my fitness pal app but even then I have to measure out a portion and put in all the details. I think it will just add stress, I'm naturally slim so have never had to worry about dieting although I currently still have a little baby weight so as long as I do the diet sensibly should be ok

OLE= Olive Leaf Extract. It both improves sperm quality and sways pink.

I'm guessing if it improves quality then its a good idea for the older dad as I know quality can decrease. Would that usually be by itself, and then something like FR rather than soy and licorice etc?

Ok so I'm thinking I can cut it down even more and probably should after reading the maternal dominance essay by AS
I will give dh OLE because of his age I think it might be a good idea.
I will do the diet drinks, the cutting meat, and switching to low fat. And the cardio.
I'm just concerned over timing now. I am still awaiting my first af since my ds4 was born 5 months ago, but we just moved on to formula from breast so hoping that won't be too long a wait. I don't want to become obsessed with opks though.
I feel like I need to do FR but worry it will be another obsession. But previously (Ds1and ds2) were months of just 1 attempt, ds2 at the pos opk. And I worry that the OLE will produce super boy swimmers and if we don't have the right frequency then I'll be giving the boys an even better chance than before.

simplest sway - diet, exercise, one attempt.
I BEG you not to do two attempts. O+12 doesn't even sway and if you miscalculate it wrong that ends up being two attempts in fertile window which really does cut yoru odds of pink.
Yes you can use condoms for FR. Spermicide condoms may be "pinker" but will cut odds of conception.
Walking is great exercise for pink. that is fine!

Ok so maybe ole and FR for dh
1 attempt on pos opk, diet and exercise for me.
It's hard, the more I read the more I think I should add this in and that, then I'll read something like the maternal dominance post and think no I need to slow down and not obsess. I don't want to regret not doing something but don't want to do too much.
And I'm laughing at myself as I write this lol

If there's one thing I want everyone to take away from this site it's that you don't have to, and infact shouldn't, add in every sway tactic that you ever hear of. You may as well take a birth control pill as do everything, and Maternal Dominance notwithstanding, what ends up happening when you start off overly strict, the BFN's start piling up and people panic and decide "well that's it, i apparently can't get pregnant with swaying" and rather than dropping one or two things here and there over time, they drop everythign all at once and oftentimes add in a bunch of stuff that sways blue at the same time. It's a perfect storm because if you've cut back and then suddenly start eating a fertility friendly diet, your body can't do anythign BUT interpret that as improvement in condition and decide a boy would have a good chance at survival. I have seen so many people do this and I think they'd have had a better shot had they never swayed to begin with.
