I know I'm supposed to stop taking Vitex and Saw Palmetto after I O, but should I take my regular doses on O-day? I'm due to O sometime today (I think in the afternoon), and I normally take my Vitex and SP around noon. Should I still take it? What about antihistamines? I normally take my Zyrtec at suppertime, but should I pop a Benedryl at noon before I O?

That's a really good question! I'm also wondering if I need to stop Vitex on the day I think I'll O or if I need to actually stop a few days in advance. Last cycle was crazy...I stopped my Vitex a few days before I was to O and then ended up Oing (per FF) about 5 days later than I should have. Sorry I can't give you any answers, Mocha...just commiserating w/you.

Hmm...I'm now at the time of day I normally take them. Maybe I'll wait a bit and see if anyone has the answers we're looking for.

Sorry, mocha, I don't know!! IMO it should be fine. As for the zyrtec I think yes take it if you have ewcm. Sorry I can't be more help, it's all guess work!!!!

I decided to go ahead and take both since I was pretty sure I hadn't ovulated yet. Now I know I did ovulate (cervix is firm again and cm is sticky), so I won't take the second Vitex of the day. It'll be nice to take a break from all those extra pills.

I did NOT take vitex on O day and some people were stopping SP 2 days before O.

Oh yeah and you can stop taking the antihistamine at your attempt, or wait until O - it's up to you. Taking it through O may reduce your odds of pg but probably sway more strongly.
