FEELING BLESSED
April 3rd, 2014, 03:36 AM
Hi - have been hanging around here a couple of months...
wasn't convinced before whether to try for baby number three, due to a number of factors.. but have now spent 2 months daydreaming about it, with no negative feelings so think the time is right...
I have one daughter 5 and a son 2, and hoping for anothe girl.
I suffered amazing gender disappointment with my first when we were told at multiple scans that she was a boy, we named her Joshua and I had a very hard time bonding with her when she popped out a girl, basically because i had overcome the depression and dissappointment of having a boy... (crazy in retrospect)
So i feel i missed out somewhat on the girl i longed for, because when she arrived we were both sick so 'everyone' else went out and did the exciting 'pink' shopping,,, (it's the little things)
With my son, we explained our story to every sonographer and said that unless they were 100% we didnt want to know, anyway we found out boy, but decided to keep it from everyone we knew. just incase, and also to keep something that was ours... well we had a perfect delivery with my son, and on his due date, he didn't leave my side, and i can't believe i was such a sook when it came to gender dissappointment - one of the reasons we are ready to try again, because either would be lovely - a girl would be the icing on the cake =)
So hi everyone.... i have read lots of posts on here so feel like i 'know' some of you already...
i have been doing cranberry, antihistamine, and acidic vegetarian diet, since i found gender dreaming... after this 2 week wait going to start LE too..
(funnily enough i KNOW i was doing all of the above when my daughter was concieved in australian summer 08.)
we now live in uk x
