Hi ladies,
I have been trying to exercise during my sway- I've been doing the diet for 6 weeks now, and it's cd1 today and the first month of our ttc a girl. I was exercising at least 4 days a week, then had an unexpected surgery about a month ago, took a week off to heal, then went back to it for about 3 weeks and then I've been so tired from this diet I haven't exercised in about a week and now it's our attempt month.

So should I become a couch potato? I care for 4 babies under 3 every day (2 are my own) and it's of course exhausting...I just don't have the energy to do it when I finally get a break. I'm losing weight and more active in general than I was when my boys were conceived...going on daily walks, etc.

What should I do? I don't want to obsess about anything. Thanks!

Only you know what works for your schedule and you. It's also true that only you know if you'll regret leaving out this sway tactic or that one if you end up with an opposite.

I'll admit freely that the exercise was a lot easier for me to do because, not only is DS2 3 years old, my gym has the most awesome Kids Club that he's happy to go to most mornings of the week. I have no idea how I might have managed if I'd been in your shoes.

Good luck making a decision!

Yes things would be different if I had a gym with child care! Congrats on your BFP by the way- so hoping it's your girl!!

So would upping my exercise moderately be good or bad? I've been taking my boys for neighborhood walks, etc, so I don't know if I should stop moderate exercise if it seems impossible and "Martha-ish" to do a lot more?

I was like you. Set off great exercising. I was pounding the gym 6 days a week and loving it. Que pulled back and I was floored off work for 3 weeks. I've tried to get back into it but for various reasons its happened then I've stopped again and now I am a couch potato. I am ok with that though and won't blame it if I am blessed with another son. Exercise isn't the key to a girl, its got good stats but its going to be luck ultimately that decides x

Atomic's of the opinion that anything less than an hour and less than 5 days a week, probably isn't worth doing for pink. I think an hour of walking with your boys would completely be worth it, especially if you can get it in 5+ days a week!

Having said that, this needs to work with your life. You can't stop playing with your kids and taking them places in the name of not-being-in-between-couch-potato-and-exerciser!

Thanks for the congrats! I'm still in a bit of shock :)

Thanks both of you. I guess for this part of my sway I'll be a couch potato. I've changed a lot of my lifestyle for this sway so I feel good about it. Hopefully we get our daughter, but a boy would be great too.

I got my daughter without exercise! It has gotten good results, but honestly I expect that number to come down because so far, the majority of the results are among people who were very dedicated to swaying all together. As more people add it in, I suspect we will see results fall to more like the 65-75% that all the tactics seem to get.

Don't say that before I find out the gender of mine, atomic! LOL!

Thanks so much, atomic! That's encouraging. I'm hoping that the fact that I'm more active in general will help with my sway. I think the biggest changes for me have been no nutrients (I drank fruit juice and ate healthy fats daily), no breakfast or snacks, and the one attempt at +opk. That's all different from how my boys were conceived.

Also no meat. I've had chicken rarely and 3 bites of red meat in the 6 weeks I've been on LE.
