Hey ladies! I've been cruising the TTC a girl boards for the last couple of weeks and I've learned so much! I'm trying to put together a plan for my sway (we'll officially start BD'ing in July, but I'm starting diet and supplements this coming week). I want to get opinions on if you think my plan sounds good, are there things you would add/subtract/change? I just feel like there's so much information out there that it's hard to know what to try to be successful.
I'll start with my hubby -- that's easiest:
He wears boxer briefs, will be taking a hot shower before BD, he will be doing frequent release throughout my cycle. He'll be drinking aspartame sweetened drinks and taking olive leaf extract. He also works a very active job outside, so his "boys" should stay nice and warm at all times.
As for me:
I am currently taking the birth control pill. Starting next week, I'll be walking between 8 and 10 miles per day for work (as of right now, I am obese and live a pretty sedentary life -- so that will be an enormous change). I'll be following the LE diet, skipping breakfast and snacks, and drinking tons of aspartame sweetened drinks. For supplements, I'm going to plan on taking baby aspirin, folic acid, b12, and antihistamine the week leading up to ovulation. As mentioned before, hubby will do FR and we will BD three days in a row with a 2 day cut-off to O. I will not orgasm and I will jump & dump after laying still for 5 minutes following BD. I am planning on using a full applicator of RepHresh a couple of days in between AF and our attempts, then 1/2 an applicator in the morning of each attempt and continue the 1/2 applicator each morning until I ovulate.
I have been considering adding vitex AF-O starting on the month I come off of the BCP, would that even be worth it? I have read that vitex can take up to 6 months to have any effect, so I don't know if it would do any good. Or should I take it during my AF while I'm still on the pill?
Also, would it be overkill to use the other half of the applicator of RepHresh after we BD too? I know it's expensive, but if it will help our chances, I'm willing to deal with the expense. Another option I have considered is using a full applicator the day before our first attempt, then half an applicator following each attempt for those three days??? Ahhhh, it's all so overwhelming!! :worry:
Sorry for being such a spazz! I'm so nervous and this is our last baby, so I really, really want to be seeing pink!!!! Thanks so much ladies, I feel so lucky to have discovered this forum -- you're all so knowledgeable and helpful.
