Hey ladies! I've been cruising the TTC a girl boards for the last couple of weeks and I've learned so much! I'm trying to put together a plan for my sway (we'll officially start BD'ing in July, but I'm starting diet and supplements this coming week). I want to get opinions on if you think my plan sounds good, are there things you would add/subtract/change? I just feel like there's so much information out there that it's hard to know what to try to be successful.

I'll start with my hubby -- that's easiest:
He wears boxer briefs, will be taking a hot shower before BD, he will be doing frequent release throughout my cycle. He'll be drinking aspartame sweetened drinks and taking olive leaf extract. He also works a very active job outside, so his "boys" should stay nice and warm at all times.

As for me:
I am currently taking the birth control pill. Starting next week, I'll be walking between 8 and 10 miles per day for work (as of right now, I am obese and live a pretty sedentary life -- so that will be an enormous change). I'll be following the LE diet, skipping breakfast and snacks, and drinking tons of aspartame sweetened drinks. For supplements, I'm going to plan on taking baby aspirin, folic acid, b12, and antihistamine the week leading up to ovulation. As mentioned before, hubby will do FR and we will BD three days in a row with a 2 day cut-off to O. I will not orgasm and I will jump & dump after laying still for 5 minutes following BD. I am planning on using a full applicator of RepHresh a couple of days in between AF and our attempts, then 1/2 an applicator in the morning of each attempt and continue the 1/2 applicator each morning until I ovulate.

I have been considering adding vitex AF-O starting on the month I come off of the BCP, would that even be worth it? I have read that vitex can take up to 6 months to have any effect, so I don't know if it would do any good. Or should I take it during my AF while I'm still on the pill?

Also, would it be overkill to use the other half of the applicator of RepHresh after we BD too? I know it's expensive, but if it will help our chances, I'm willing to deal with the expense. Another option I have considered is using a full applicator the day before our first attempt, then half an applicator following each attempt for those three days??? Ahhhh, it's all so overwhelming!! :worry:

Sorry for being such a spazz! I'm so nervous and this is our last baby, so I really, really want to be seeing pink!!!! Thanks so much ladies, I feel so lucky to have discovered this forum -- you're all so knowledgeable and helpful.

I am sure someone else will pop along but there's some very un genderdeaming stuff in there. Advice is 1 attempt at +opk. Having 3 attempts is real boy territory as is b12. Some people are dtd every 4 days but if you can pinpoint O 1 attempt is the way.
I personally think that's an overkill on rephresh add atomic said it wasn't worth the hassle. I am still ttc now cycle 3 and dropped rephresh cycle 1. You need to be able to get pg in the first instance.

Good luck, I am sure more advice will follow xxxxx

I agree. Rephresh every 3 days from AF -O is better and between 12-24 hours before the BD. Cause you will kill all swimmers.
And advice is 1 attempt at positive OPK.
Use antihistamine as a back up. If you notice around your attemp you've got lots of CM the. Take antihistamine. If you use it the whole week, your body could info its function.

Diet and excercise looks great!

Do we know why b12 sways blue, or is it just that it makes you more healthy? I'd be willing to cut it out, if necessary, just curious. Thanks, ladies!! I can cut back on the RepHresh, that would eliminate some of the stress anyway. I was hoping to eliminate the need for using OPKs. :( I'm more familiar with using a saliva microscope, I suppose I could just go that route to pinpoint my O day. Before I found this site, I was highly influenced by the IG site, so it's hard to "un-learn" the things I got from there. I'm so scared! So, one attempt at +OPK is okay with FR when trying for a girl?

OH, and I'm also using progesterone cream.

Yes 3 attempt screams boy. Also no need for a 2 day cut off. Timing doesn't sway loooads of ladies on here getting girls on O day or day before. If you struggle to pinpoint O bday every 4 days eg mon-fri-tue etc.. That way you'll have one attempt in your fertile window.
I started sooo strict but am practically on diet add 1 attempt now as im not getting pg. Start strong but but be shocked if you need to switch it to get pg x

I would not do the b12 or three attempts. They're both blue dust options. Anything that makes you "healthy" is boy friendly. You need to have your body think times are tough in order to have a girl. I believe (correct me if I'm wrong) one attempt has gotten the best results for having a girl. Atomic can serve u better lol. I'm still learning from her. She's the best. :flowerz:
